used to work for me before. but suddenly not sure since when this damn loading thing happen. i think it was after the fw update. now can only play MP, not SP
One main problem that keeps happening to me is the game lags a lot, to the point where it will make a short cut-scene horribly long. And the music and audio keeps cutting in and out and gets to the point where I wont get to hear a whole cut-scene dialogue. The back isn't scratched, my internet connection is 100% , I have done a system restore twice and it still does it. It does the audio thing with portal 2 as well. But only those two games. Any ideas on how to fix this would be awesome.

I have the same problem. You guys should try to wait a bit, cause the loading screen eventually goes away (after 7-8 minutes) on my ps3 and after that i can play the game. Only problem is because of the ridiculous loading times, the game gets glitched. Conclusion: Naughty dog fcked up....
Troubleshooted and managed to find a solution when I was stuck at 18th. I loaded 17th which is a short chapter, and when Drake comes down on the parachute I didnt move a muscle (didnt touch the controller) and it worked

@JaimeAlbieri Just put in another game and let it load until the start up screen..take the game out and put uncharted back in..it should work..i had the same exact problem. Good luck.
@Natanthe6th AND! i may add that every friggin one of those ND games are friggin spectacular. I don't think it's a ND issue, but a communication error between developer and publisher and Sony. both have stellar markings, but there is an issue that will be eventually cleared up. and yes....i AM pissed b/c from what i read it seems there is a firmware issue that needs to be fixed. also adding: original post is from Nov. Its friggin January!! So that means..... soon.....
@duleewopper Agree. I also have Assassin's Creed, and in the 2nd game I am supposed to earn a throphie but it didn't showed up (even more than 1). This was also a communication error between some things, NOT an error in the game itself. Now it is fixed! (lol it may be fixed after these years :p)
But if you can't handle there errors and sh*t, buy an Xbox. Go pay for it every month. People need to remember that EVERY console has a crapy side and that NONE of these are perfect.
this is bs, Just bought an160 gb slim ps3 bundle and the uncharted 3 game. placed the cd in my ps3 and what do you know I canno't play the game because the ps3 does not recognize the disk. call up bestbuy to exchange the uncharted 3 game, they say ok to come back bring it in. when I get there to my surprize no uncharted 3 to swap out the bad one. I have to wait another week I just hope that it is not the ps3. : \(

We shouldn't have to reformat our PS3's or bring save data over from another PS3. The game should work on its own like all the other games we play on our PS3's. I will not be buying this game until I hear something official from Sony or Naughtydog.

Went to start again today and when I put in the disc I just get the infinte loading screen again!! So frustrating, but reading online it looks like a lot of people have the same problem.... Yeah - This problem is all over the internet at the moment.I havent bought the game yet .....It appears to be linked to ps3 slims from what ive been reading.Not going to buy it until some official statement from SONY - or some sort of patch.The problem is too widespread to coincidence.
To fix it delete the game data and your save data. Start a new game and play through the game in one go without dying. Or play through as you normally would and just hope you don't get the same problem. Games only about 5-6hours long.
