This is an atrocity and a shame for calligraphy, but I am also a calligrapher. The point of calligraphy is for a beautiful letterform to be produced by hand, through effort, not to have it completely perfect by a computer. Plus, if you have a computer generated script that you want to put down on pa per, why not take it to a printer? Does it make them feel like they are being traditional by having a fake arm do it? That's not the point of the video ! The point is of course to show what a such technologie can do and who accuracy it is. Of course instead of that everybody will use their printer or just do it by hand if he is interested by calligraphy.
