  • you have really nice hair, My hair is relaxed and It's stiff and doesn't flow like yours.

  • hey what does ur round brush look like is it like thick bissel or thin

  • My hair is naturally wavy and curly , and i relax it, and sometimes leave it natural when i don't have enough time or wash it in the morning or go. What shampoo do you suggest. My hair is naturally very very soft and i cannot use grease or anything too heavy , weights it down and breaks it off! I use marrakesh oil now and thats all i use unless its wavy and i use bouncy cream. I just really want to use the best products and get it the healthiest ! Please help, Thanks!

  • Pretty and well-spoken! Thanks for the advice gurrlll

  • moisturizeing the hair is a good thing I'm surprised her hair is as healthy as it is being she doesn't ..

  • ill say it again your so great My friend just gave me her Chi silk infusin AND i think Im going to get the big botle ;)

  • ur gonna get heat damage when you blowdry dry hair.

  • great video and great hair btw!! I have relaxed hair that goes to the middle of my back and I have so much trouble w/ it, but this was very helpful!!

  • GO NATURAL!!!

  • When u say type 4a, 4b hair... Wut does that mean? I thought color, but I have a feelin it has to dew with coarseness... How dew I tell my hair type?

  • @bkawiseone hair types type 1 is straight , type 2 is wavy, type 3 is curly and type 4 is kinky ...I'm not sure if you will understand that so google it to to find the charts ...

  • @abunnieslife I figured it out now... Thanks!

  • My hair is naturally long. I have started making videos showing me going natural after 13 years of getting relaxers.

  • Loveeee this video! im definitely suscribing! I'm am new to making videos so please check them out if you have the chance! i would appreciate any advice or input you have! thanksss =]

  • WOW I FOUND MY TWIN YOU!WE LOOK ALIKE

  • thank you so much for this video i needed tips for having my hair stay wind free

  • i use chi silk infusion too...and i love it

  • I think my great gma was native american but i go throught spurts of using heat, like when i'm confused as to what style i want to wear or wanting to try a hairstyle i saw but most of the time i don't use heat except after i relax my hair(i use olive oil & love it) but it also comes with a heat protectant & after it's finally blown dry, it's crazy soft & i love it. I just bought some jojoba oil to try since i've heard it works very well too but if i decide i dont like it i'll definately try chi

  • We have very similar hair so I am especially grateful for this video. CHI Silk Infusion is GREAT!!!! $41 a bottle too....the only place I can find it around here is Ulta. Great vid.

  • Also, if you don't put anythign in your hair, how do you keep it MOISTURIZED and prevent split ends???

  • @quitejaded I put the Chi Silk Infusion in my hair every day.

  • @crystalroselove Wow it is amazing how my regimen has changed over two years. I now put organic/virgin coconut oil in my hair everyday, not Chi Silk Infusion. :)

  • I need some advice! My hair does not fall back into place even though I am taking your advice. My roots have not been retouched and I have a 1" flat iron. I cannot flatted my roots! any tips?

  • @quitejaded To flatten my roots when they have grown out, I use the "dominican blowout" technique on my hair if I really want my roots as straight as possible after my relaxer has grown out. I will do a video on the technique on my page at some point soon. I think there are other videos on youtube about how to do the blowout on your hair as well.

  • your pretty

  • Great video and your sooo pretty!

  • I'm guilty of product overload! I can't help it. When I don't slather it on my hair feels thirsty. I have really curly, frizzy natural hair so I need all the help I can get. I think I'm addicted I'm trying to cut back though.

  • such pretty eyes.

  • Hi! I LUV your video! Your hair is really pretty. What can of relaxer do you use. Do you use a rinse (color). Also what is your workout / diet regimen. You look to be in really good shape.

  • i love when my hair falls back in place but sometimes my hair gets too much wind and when i get back inside its a little frizzy.

I dont use grease. Its bad for the scalp i heard and what i do you LIGHTLY is castor oil. Thats it. : )

    Nice video

  • What color lipstick do you use? I love it.

  • when people ask me if i am mixed with something just because i am black with long hair it pisses me off because i know those are the kind of people who are very hypocritical and think black women and girls cant have LONG hair...

  • thnk u!!!! thats so true!!! and when i say im not mixed they ask if its weave. uh NO my hairs just long cuz i dont flat iron it everyday and i take care of it!

  • 60 percent of blacks are actually are mixed. just because someone's phenotype black doesn't mean they are 100 percent black. Race does make a difference on hair growth as other races do grow out slightly faster and has less adversities than black women who are 100 percent genetically black.

  • @Girlllpuhlease Yes, most blacks are mixed, but when people say "mixed" they usually mean a non-black parent. And many non-blacks can grow their hair a bit faster, but retention is key. Black hair is quite fragile due to the twists in the helix. When more Blacks treat their hair like fine silk, long or thick hair won't be seen as a shock. Maybe my great great grandmother on my fathers side was half white, meaning I'm not "100%" black. But I look black and identify as black, despite my hair.

  • @Girlllpuhlease 60% in america you mean xD because I'M NOT (and most of my friends in France) and my hair grow TOOO fast. It has nothing to with if your full black or not. African hair grow the fastest in all ethny (stretch it and you'll see). Then, it's asian hair, and then it's european.

  • @Girlllpuhlease

excuse me but you are so misinformed...or at least specifie "black"...because you obviously dont know about other black people who are not american...

have you ever been to africa???? some girls have so much natural hair its fuckin ridicilous!!!! if i just take my sister and her friends..

    so please...

  • Your really pretty! love ur hair :)

  • "Avoid product overload.."

    I could not agree more.

  • your dominican?!

  • shes probably not black people like myself go to the domiicans because they are able to make your hair soo soft and straight with soo much body without using a actual perm relaxer and they help your hair to grow with all their techniques

  • my hair texture is just like hers but its relaxed. is it just my hair?

  • Wow.

  • U r nice. I liked the eye make up.

  • your hair is beautiful!

  • do you do your own relaxer, or go to a salon? I want my hair like that but it just won't do it

  • thanks for the video

  • Does anybody know a good Dominican hair care salon in Philadelphia?

  • AWESOME I have had braids in since last July [its now the following June] and I am about to go get a relaxer but my main fear is the 'wind factor' so THANK YOU

  • Pressed hair is the best hair. Every time i touch somebody's hair that is relaxed, it feels thick and kinda brittle. Pressed hair doesnt do that. My hair is soft and amazing :) I would recommend that rather than a perm

  • thanx!!!

  • Okay.... I just came home from the club. And why am i up@3am watching this? Lol! You have great tips. And yes Chi products are wonderful. And yes girl i will watch the hair regimen video. And i hate to ask a stupid question on here. But what is 3c..4b etc....hair?

  • what salon do u go to im in NY and lookin for a new salon

  • @tykeisha620 Hey tykeisha620! When I lived in NY, I went to Sisters Unisex on Lawrence Street in Brooklyn, NY. It is a Dominican salon. I loved it!

  • thank you! i just move to downtown manhattan and i've been looking for a place close by so i dont have to travel back to queens anymore. i'm gonna go check them out this saturday =D

  • @crystalroselove That salon is right next to my school.. They are always crowded and I've always wanted to try them out.

  • what kind of hair texture do u have

  • I have type 4a hair, relaxed.

  • how do u find out what type of hair u have?

  • @tykeisha620 simply ask a pro saloner.

  • i love to use the chi silk infusion also but after a day or two my ends get dry even though i apply it daily. i was wondering if there was something you can recommend for them?

  • why am I a guy watching a video on hair treatment & care at 6 in the morning. wow, the things a beautiful face do to do people. p.s the tyra race video responce is what led to me here lol. keep up the blogs, i've never been so confused about hair in my life. thx

  • Im not really into the who hair thing...

But I just wanted to say that you are very beautiful! Great videos!

  • I have 4c. I think I am going to stop relaxing my hair. Its just not working. I can't make it look as thick and full as yours and I give up. Going natural...

  • You remind me of Michelle Obama

  • I love how bouncy your hair is! Do u use the Chi silk infusion as a daily moisturizer?

  • Thanks! Yup, I use Chi Silk Infusion as a daily moisturizer. And it doesn't weigh my hair down, which is great!

  • Thank you so much for the tip!!

  • Love the vid.and thank you for promoting the round brush

  • Thanks! I love the round brush method! :)

  • You are sooo gorgeous!

I have a quick question I just got a relaxer a couple of days ago, how long should I wait to wash my hair?

  • Thanks for the compliment rjones2586! :) I don't think there is any rule on when to wash your hair after a relaxer - I personally prefer to wait a few days after a fresh relaxer to wash my hair, but that is only because the hair goes through so much processing on "relaxer day" that I prefer to allow my hair to rest a little bit and take a breather before I put it through any more processing.

  • Excellent, thanks for the vid! Great tips

  • You're welcome! :)

  • omg you have like perfect teeth!!!

lucky! and you're beautiful.....you've just got it all dont you!

    =) good job

  • lol thanks! That is such a sweet comment!

  • You are a very beautiful lady.

  • Thanks! :)

  • Thanks for the tips.

  • Sure thing. :)

  • you live in the northeast dont you

  • Yup - and it is windy!
