ummmmm, wow!! you have really done your homework on these RUSH tunes. love seeing them all, love to drum here, but I stink it up bad..lol..still trying though..I love a challenge :-) really great though :-)
Sup dude Ive posted on many of your vids. As usual an amazing vid by you. But I can see your not very happy with this piece dude. You dont seem to be in the zone like you do in your other vids. I know the feeling, Ive been playing bass for 20 yrs or so and you have those days where shit just doesnt mesh like yesterday =D.
I call it bass burnout for you drummer burnout. I usually take the day off from music when i go through that.
Man. You keep good time. Last Rush Concert I was at. You know Neil never looks up. I was studing his timing and he looked up at me. Shock shit out of me. LOL.
Hey Paul .. that was f'n amazing .. don't be so hard on yourself .. probably my favorite RUSH instrumental !!! .. Find a 'Geddy' yet ? I'll commute ... lol
Fantastic stuff. I'm a guitarist but fascinated by Neil. You're doing his work justice across the board. Anyone that rags on you is a no talent hack that wishes they played 1/3 this well.
Ive watched many of your vids...all excellent. I'm glad you decided to do this as it is one of my favorite Rush instrumentals. Everytime I watch your videos I want to learn drums!
Very well done. The fills were very good, the grooves were tight and your overall feel is very impressive. One question, though: What ride are you using? The bell on it makes it look like the Paragon, but it sounds better than practically every Paragon I've ever played.
ok- i'm the biggest rush fan around...and I play drums....you nailed it, and that was very fun to watch...I hope 'snakes and arrows' is the first of another coming of a RUSH new saga...I'm ready for another 30 years:)
Roll the Bones is probably one of my least favorite Rush albums. I do, however, like Part IV, "Gangster of Boats" Trilogy. It is a decent instrumental.
thatt was good mate

You remind me of Patton Oswalt, if he could be drop-dead funny while perfecting Rush songs.

@93ym I'm WAY funnier than Patton, though! (not really, he's great)

That fill at 2:59 is my all time favourite Neil moment. On record it just sounds so monstrous.
Great performance, really top-notch.
