We baby wear, cloth diaper, extended bfing, cosleeping, it nice to 'know' other natural minded parents. Are you still bfing jack or did he wean? I am waiting on my dd to wean and she is showing no interest. If he has weaned will you give us tips? I am hoping to do child led weaning. Honestly I'm not ready but then other days I am. Lol
@stephmatswife I know the feeling! nope, still going strong at 18 months. He isn't doing it as intensely as he was from 10-14 months...that was worse than a newborn to be honest lol! but it has calmed back down....still several times a day, up to 10x I'd guess. We are also doing CLW :) I will be sad but it will be easier on both of us if I wait til he initiates it. oh well, no rush :)
A friend of mine has a little boy that is a few months older jack. He wears a amber necklace, boy color clothes and had longish curly hair. He gets called a boy every day. She hates it. Do you have that happen? Do you have an tips? Her husbands want her to cut his hair but she loves it.
I love watching jack grow my daughter was born between porter and jack. It was so fun being pregnant with you both. It's nice having knowing there are other like minded moms out there. We BW, cosleep, BF, and c
@stephmatswife if you meant he gets called a girl...we actually don't have that happen as often as you might think. Maybe we just live in a hippie-ish college town and its not uncommon here. Sometimes, older folks with say "she" and I just correct them and its no big deal. I love his hair :) we cut it about twice a month. Its actually pretty difficult to do more than a trim each time, depending on his age, they may not be able to get a good cut anyhow ;)
Seriously, could his little squeaking feet be ANY cuter?! And the fact that he wanted to play with the dressed up wiener dogs...my heart just melted! Too cute!
Awww. He's so cute! Just like my lil' man. He turned 1 a few of weeks ago & he's about 33" also. =)
