  • wow... the sounds so sweet, keep up the good work. I know this man will go far in his endeavors in this life, may the Most High continue to bless Peter Kithene

  • great work man Kiths. keep it up and uplift the needy... awesome, brother, na kazi hiyo hiyo iendelee!!!

  • Its a genocide by western govt

  • A true hero.

  • I read about him in a magazine a few years ago. Good to see his project has bore fruits. Keep it up peter, this is what community organising is all about.

  • Keep up the good work!

  • Peter, you are an inspiration. I wish we had more Kenyans like you, a hero, taking what you have acquired in America and helping the needy in Kenya.

Lakini mbuyu umeparara jo. Hakuna Lifebuoy huko. Lol, Just kidding. Keep it up and God bless you.

  • Good job, bro!!

  • nmbugua, you stole my thunder. LOL. I was thinking the same thing.

  • Here one selfless Kenyan shows the way for his community ..it's individuals like Peter that transform nations. Turning rhetoric to action!

  • Now here comes the local MP, calling his family trying to find out what this young man's ambitions are. " Is he trying to kick me out?" Kenyan politicians are so predictable.

  • NTV, this is the news we need. give a blackout to all politicians talking of tribal alliances, elections and all that crap.

  • true that. imagine the attention given to Kalonzo and his talk of this and that tribe in his fantasy alliances.

  • pongezi nyingi kabisa ndugu kithene one of our many unsung heroes....God bless your works

  • Well said ikiplagat1 he is without comment.......God Job Peter and proud to be Kenyan

  • REALLY!

  • well done Peter,,keep those children alive and God will reward u and ur work if the humans(wanasiasa) wouldnt

  • i dont see siasabora commenting here...perhaps because Peter is "an enemy"

  • Oh I see! Love or hate S, you missed me?

Well, I'm back and you better brush up!

  • another thing I always wonder about, how the western media always know about these heroes we have among us before we do. Are they not in a way, discouraging this kind of work? All they do is cover the thieves and what they are stealing today. Our politicians don't even deserve half the air time this guy got.

  • say it again! Peter ahsante sana!!!

  • ...there is hope in darkness, Mungu akubariki..and may we also be inspired to play our part

  • well done Peter and God Bless you. You are better off serving your people the way you are now. Kenyan parliament is full of corrupt androtten leaders. He doesn't need to be in there!

  • Peter Kithene is an exemplary man improving the lives of others...Jah Bless.

How much money from tourism & tea farming goes to help the KENYAN MAJORITY OF CITIZENS?????? Lake victoria should be renamed LAKE KITHENE or at least Lake KENYA, not the

    British colonialist term "Victoria".

  • we need leadership like him in kenya.

    GOD bless you peter

  • Wow, what a touching story, thank you for the good work Peter, may God bless you.

  • who is the current thief(MP) for this area? when private citizens take over roles of state, it is a sign of a failed state. THIS GUY IS ACTUALLY A CNN HEROES AWARD HONOREE!!!...the guys in parliament must die and the country to sacrifice for a new leadership under a new constitution.some people should not feel more superior than others and resources should be shared fairly and equally...Thanks Mr Kithene

  • Murenju, Good point. Also Peter Kithene will have to look for means of making the project sustainable. However, even in the US, an affluent nation, the spirit of communitarism, Amitai Etzioni, is not necessarily a sign that the state has failed, although the Kenyan case is different. Rather it is a symbol of belonging and being our brothers and sisters keeper.

  • Yes! but you can tell from the comments;that kenyans get the leaders they deserve! you see no one is interested in these kinds of stories!!!they jst want siasa ya chuki;hating each other!!!Shame!

  • this is awesome and to think that even his country cannot acknowledge this effort..is very sad

  • This is the kind of leadership Kenyans deserve and the only type of person who should stand for election.

  • please God no..politics is a sure way of failure in Kenya...kaa hivyo tu Bwana Kathene
