wow... the sounds so sweet, keep up the good work. I know this man will go far in his endeavors in this life, may the Most High continue to bless Peter Kithene
I read about him in a magazine a few years ago. Good to see his project has bore fruits. Keep it up peter, this is what community organising is all about.
Now here comes the local MP, calling his family trying to find out what this young man's ambitions are. " Is he trying to kick me out?" Kenyan politicians are so predictable.
another thing I always wonder about, how the western media always know about these heroes we have among us before we do. Are they not in a way, discouraging this kind of work? All they do is cover the thieves and what they are stealing today. Our politicians don't even deserve half the air time this guy got.
well done Peter and God Bless you. You are better off serving your people the way you are now. Kenyan parliament is full of corrupt androtten leaders. He doesn't need to be in there!
Peter Kithene is an exemplary man improving the lives of others...Jah Bless.
How much money from tourism & tea farming goes to help the KENYAN MAJORITY OF CITIZENS?????? Lake victoria should be renamed LAKE KITHENE or at least Lake KENYA, not the
who is the current thief(MP) for this area? when private citizens take over roles of state, it is a sign of a failed state. THIS GUY IS ACTUALLY A CNN HEROES AWARD HONOREE!!!...the guys in parliament must die and the country to sacrifice for a new leadership under a new constitution.some people should not feel more superior than others and resources should be shared fairly and equally...Thanks Mr Kithene
Murenju, Good point. Also Peter Kithene will have to look for means of making the project sustainable. However, even in the US, an affluent nation, the spirit of communitarism, Amitai Etzioni, is not necessarily a sign that the state has failed, although the Kenyan case is different. Rather it is a symbol of belonging and being our brothers and sisters keeper.
Yes! but you can tell from the comments;that kenyans get the leaders they deserve! you see no one is interested in these kinds of stories!!!they jst want siasa ya chuki;hating each other!!!Shame!

NTV, this is the news we need. give a blackout to all politicians talking of tribal alliances, elections and all that crap.

true that. imagine the attention given to Kalonzo and his talk of this and that tribe in his fantasy alliances.
