I bet this is that place over in the Far East somewhere that a bunch of mud started erupting from I think a drill-hole. Can't stop it & it's covered a really big area, plus a few villages, finally making it to a river which they are concerned will eventually dam up. for everybody that thinks it's a bad turbo or bad injectors i work on the kobelcos all the time it's a machine that was turned up for more power and the motor is running low rpm's thus when the pumps are stroked and there is unburnt fuel it comes out as a thick black smoke nothing to worry over just turn up the rpm's

I think this was a mud volcano created by a drilling rig that opened up a hot water aquifer and lost the well, the hot water mixed with a clay layer underground and a mud flood came out the hole, buried a village....there is a write up about it in a National Geographic magazine from this year or last

no fuckin way. cat IS the best.they have better balance and they are faster. they last forever. komatsu only last about 10000 hours then you have to go thru everything. i have been there and done that with 3 750 japatsu's
