  • Invading a church and forcing pastors to marry gays wont make people tolerate gay rights , it does the opposite. Im all for gay marriage and freedom of speech but it works both ways.

  • Actually, priests are not obligated to marry people. In fact, it is their choice to say yes or no when couple makes that request. Sometimes, it even costs money to be married in a church even beyond the marriage license.

"If you want to be gay, fine be gay. But dont bring the church into it."

It goes both ways though...Christian! It is none of any christian demonimation's business that gay people get married anyhow!

  • Hey Gays: You did great in the Maine referendum! Nice job.

  • This was an effort a bit over the top. There are other ways to approach the promotion of gay marriage, other than running in throwing a bunch of stuff everywhere with like 2 people screaming at the top of your lungs and leaving. Everybody there just kinda sat there and continued on with their day, and nothing happened.

I'm all for gay rights, but this was just a bad thing to do.

  • So you support destroying the institution of marriage and ignoring the bible.

  • i'm a buddhist, dude.

why would i read the bible?

  • @RomanThaDroman

You dont see me going into countries with a Buddhist majority and telling them to change their laws, so how about you let the U.S., majorly Christian, base their morals and laws off the bible. Its called being respectful to all religions, not just yours.

  • i got a better idea

america calls itself the melting pot

full of mixed races, religions, etc

why dont we live up to that reputation by letting it be christian, catholic, jewish, buddhist, rastafari, and anything else in this country, as opposed to just christian

  • At the start of the video we saw a little girl with a sign saying, "Stop the H8T".

Who is showing hatred here? When you storm a peaceful worship service and do your best to offend them is that not hate? I understand the "protesters" were shouting insults at the Christians as they entered the church that day and attempting to intimidate them.

They shout about "tolerance" but they act as if people should not have a right to worship God as they see fit.

  • unbelievable- they looked so....stupid....i don't even know what to say.....what a stupid way to demonstrate

  • What got accomplished gay whackos? I am gay as well. But what got accomplished here? I'll tell you what, you aliented us even further away from the norm. You confirmed what the evangelicals thought. They laugh at you. They pray for you. They feel sorry for you. And your actions are only confirming what they know is going to happen in the final days.

Thanks for nothing, whackos. GO home and get a job!

  • You are right. Gay protesters are hurting our economy even more by wasting their time protesting instead of being at their jobs.

  • Not these folks, they're banking on Obama's welfare check. ;-)

  • Well its sad. I mean I am a christian, and although i do hold the moral view that homosexuality is a sin, I am a libertarian when it comes to social issues, and I believe that gays have the right to marry since its an individual choice, and unless the country is adopting hindu arranged marriage laws, I dont see how its a threat to straight marriage. But groups like this do as much for the cause for gay rights as the black panther party and other groups did for black rights, not much.

  • I am gay, but I don't support this act. We believe that we should be able to protest, but I do not agree with intruding on other's freedom of religion. Would I boycott buisnesses for donating yes. Would I be part of a peaceful protest? Yes. But I cannot and will not go into a church and violate their rights. Please people, this is a small group out of millions. When passion is involved, people sometimes aren't thinking correctly.

  • This was bound to happen to some evangelical Church at some point. I doubt it will be long before Westboro deals with these pink-clad activists.

  • OK O'reilly, I wouldn't equate the two Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence actually getting Communion with a coordinated operation by frustrated LGBT to make a point and "disrupting" a church service. They yelled but you could barely hear them, its a church. They threw leaflets, they kissed... I could not see condoms being thrown from the camera angle, but you don't make that stuff up, gay activists sometimes do hand out condoms.

  • This only proves why God condemns homosexuality.

Whatever you think, you will not be able to change God's Word and will one day have to pay the price for not believing what God has written.

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

  • If you want to be gay, fine be gay. But dont bring the church into it. Once they legalize gay marriage they as citizens have the right to ask a priest to marry them, even though its against there morals or there christian values. The government claims to keep religion of the system yet if this law gets cleared it will destroy churches. You have already taken God out of America what more do you want? I cant even carry my bible in school. This is freedom?

  • Amen. Agreed.

  • @mzmelendez08 You can have your Bible in school. Legally, you can tell the administrators of your school to suck it. You just can't try to shove your Bible down someone else's throat.
