Well, we won the first match with a 10 point difference. You couldn't have won the second match with a smaller gap (2 points). But a win is a win, well done, evenly matched teams.

Who's your pick for the Tri Nations? My heart says the AB's, and my head does as well. If not, then the Aussies - it's amazing how the Ab's/Boks didn't truly take them as serious contenders - too wrapped up in their own build up in the beginning.

Oh mate All Blacks all the way. I think Australia are the underdogs and will do well, but in my humble opinion it's another straight Bledisloe/Tri-Nations win for the men in black. Isn't it funny now that every country has lost their captains to injury? McCaw with his ankle, Mortlock with his head and Smit with his groin (haha). Lets hope Capn' Fantastic is back next week eh ;)

True, I forgot about John Smit being injured! Aussie are the underdogs for sure, but what I felt was that NZ/SA teams (both players and management) & also some public figures weren't really giving them due respect: I'm glad they beat SA to be honest, I just hope they don't beat us as well: it's unlikely they will anyway.

Let's hope so: his contribution to the team has been sorely missed, as were our 2 best locks. You would have to think with all 3 there in Dunedin, they we woulda had it.

Look at most other professional sports, if a team wins 70% of the time they are doing all right, but everyone naturally expect the AB's to win every time because lets face it, NZ is historically so much better than any other nation at rugby.

So fuckin what if we lose a game here and there, you have more people in most of ur major cities than we do in our entire country haha.. thats gotta suck.

@hockeyrook19 fair point but, rugby is basically the only sport in new zealand... apart from a little rugby league here and there and a minute amount of soccer, union is on its own... Australia has a lot of league, AFL, and a growing amount of soccer... and practically all of the european countries have a lot more people playing soccer than rugby.... south africa is the country that comes close to beating u most of the time and that is also probably because they only have one sport too... agree?
