If you do a sermon on all oppression in the history of the world, America, though not perfect, would look pretty small. This is aimed at holding a magnfying glass at the US.
@Saventry Two things. First America isn't small when it comes to oppression and murder and the second thing is he was talking about all governments. Here is a part of the sermon you don't get to hear. Long before there was a Red White and Blue colonization, the Egyptian government was doing colonization. They colonized half the continent of Africa, they colonized parts of the Mediterranean. All colonizers aint White. Turn to your neighbor and say oppressors come in all colors.
They were not necessary--for the war to end--they were to intimidate the Russians and to complete America's revenge against Japan; u dumbass, u cannot equate Pearl Harbor and the atom (and firebombings) of Japan--moral or not--Pearl Harbor was a definite military target--in an American colony.
I am waiting for Fox News-since they are also leading the neo-con hate campaign against Islam--to take this challenge: get a Christian to be allowed to read John: Chap 8 in major synogogue
@RPenta Do you even watch Fox news? Like 99% of you lefty critics of it, you probably just hear what your heroes tell you about it. Personally, I've only watched it a few times. I watch the local news instead. And it was too necessary to drop those bombs. Why did Japan surrender, knowing thier major cities would be nuked one by one till it happened? "Intimidate the Soviet Union" LOL.
"god Damn Amerikkka, that's in the Bible, for killing innocent people. god Damn Amerikkka for treating her citizens as less than human. god Damn Amerikkka as long as she tries to act like she is god and she is supreme." I agree. Amerikkka is a god to the people, now. And people need to wake up, if they're truly religious, and believe in the only god they claim to be believe in. Besides, most people don't really believe in Jesus like this man does. Most use the image of christ for control &power
If I was the President, the second that I heard this, I would have walked out of his church that second. too bad Mr. Obama threw Rev. Wright under the bus when this first came out.
Whargoul, socialism is NOT Christian. Socialism is a theory that was taken from the BIBLE allright, but was absolutely corrupted by athiests and practical athiests who replaced GOD and put an in HIS place an enourmous cental power that oversees it all and keeps a great part of the money for themselves. JESUS didn't say anything about the gov't ministering to ppl's needs, HE told you and me to do it. Get that straight, Christian!
All Wright did was babble, take GOD's name in vain on the pulpit, give ammo to vicious, bigoted blacks and totally disregard the purpose he's supposed to be on that pulpit: to preach the word of GOD and quote Scriptures. This passage is the one he needs to preach and hear most: "Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world". This guy is a racist to the core.
Is this guy a man of GOD or a politican/revisionist history prof? He quoted one verse and it was to make a point about the gov't. He said many untruths, some truths, but the bottom line is he didn't preach the Gospel. He made lame excuses for blacks commiting crimes (what's wrong with three strikes?), and would stand idly by while an innocent gringo was being murdered by a hateful, bigoted black and probably nod his ignorant head.
@Townhouse77 Really? Bear in mind that this is only 6 minutes of a 1 hour sermon. I suggest you listen to the entire sermon. By the way ministers do say one verse and then build a sermon around it. Go to church then come back out and listen to this again, you might learn something.
I am not christian or african american but everything he says is correct when you listen to it. Fox news gave you one side "God damn Armeica!!" which was taken out of cotnext completely.
@DraganDrabic I'm not christian or african american, but everything he says is inducing racism, like jessie jackson and al sharpton do because it helps his careers and lines their pockets.
@DraganDrabic I'm not christian or african american, but everything he says is inducing racism just like the way jessie jackson and al sharpton do because it helps their careers and lines their pockets.
@jjrants Racism helps there careers as helped Martin Luther King Jr career until he was killed by a racist's white people. Go out and end racism fight for equality for all people.
@DraganDrabic Agreed. At the same time, the fact that they DO line their pockets by inducing racism for the black agenda, is no different than any other group (such as the KKK) making money by encouraging it. While they made the government change their laws about racism, they sure as hell didn't want to change the capitolist benefiets of being hate mongers.
@smittyjj1987 it's people such as yourself that won't stop the hatred, your like a cancer in our society, if your even from the US. Do you actually think it's racism when you act like a jerk and nobody wants to deal with your arrogance. What exactly are you trying to say? You want whites destroyed? That's a great way to make rational people act irrational, or is that what people like you really want.
@tomlew55 I am sorry what hatred? How is Smithy a racist? Did he get together and steal white lands, take white people as slaves, make laws that state white people can't vote, get married to black people, or can't own guns, even can't travel freely. How is he a racist? What he is saying is a matter of historical fact. I don't agree that if he finds love with a white woman, he shouldn't marry her but that's his personal choice.
@RyookenRead my comment again, I didnt call smithy a racist, and if you cant sense the hatred that is running wild in this country then I feel sorry for you. Too many are fanning the flames for their own personal gain. Just watch cable news, the more outrageous the comment, the more air time they get. And the rich keep getting richer.....as long as they keep the rest of us divided.
@tomlew55 I am not talking about the hatred in this country. Yes, I can feel it. However, what you said was his hatred and he was a cancer. I asked for clarification. He stated that he felt sorry for white people and he prayed for them but he wouldn't marry a white person because of the judgement against them. That's not hatred. You don't pray for people you hate. You kill or hurt them.
Anyone who does not agree with Jeremiah Wright is not a christian. Also, America was not intended to be a christian nation. You want to bring this country back to the way it was? You have to do away with chrsitianity. Look at what the founding fucktards said about christianity. Go ahead. Stupid Ku Klux Kocksuckers. You're just insecure of black people because they can take your girl whenever they want. XD
If you don't agree with Rev. Wright, you're not only not Christian, but a very stupid human being. Everything he says is correct, you need only look at history, and you will see this. Although, he was quite kind to Clinton, who was no friend of the working class person. He sold us out . Once you read the actual teachings of Christ, you realize, only Socialism is compatible with the teachings of Christ.
No, no no. Not god bless America, god damn America. I say this as an ordained minister.
This guy is a social terrorist. Racist white hating biased dirt bag. He will keep the ignorant living in the past and not allow our country to move forward. He preeches hate there is nothing about what the bible or Jesus's teachings in his white hating bantor. This is a spawn of Satan. How about preeching work, overcoming difficulties and hurdles through hard work and dedication, not waiting for Government handouts. The US failed only blacks....ignorance breeds hatred, he's a hate breeder
@trowsertrowt You raise a good point on preaching hard work and overcoming difficulties; I agree with that 100%. But in a marathon race in which most run with shoes on, you tell one group they can't get into the race, then when you allow them into the race 60 min. late, you take their shoes and make them run barefoot, then tell them don't pay attention to those with shoes, "just overcome" and expect them to run just as fast, that's a challenge that most whites don't face or have to face.
@jnthnlck in no way am i downplaying what happened to blacks, it was a crime against humanity. but you assuming that most whites have it made is ignorant. my ancestors were poor europeans who came here looking for a better life and all they got was disrespect and humiliation, some even went back where they came from. my life has been a struggle, nothing has been handed to me. if your parents are wealthy or politically connected then life will be easier, it doesnt matter which race you are.
@tomlew55 I see your point, But 2 points. 1) my analogy about the marathon race doesn't apply only along the lines of race; it's ultimately a fight between the haves, have nots and have mores. 2) my marathon analogy doesnt just apply to the history, people are still being forced to run barefoot in 2010 along the lines of race or economic class, which is what J. Wright was describing. Some call him divisive, but civil abuses he merely describes are what's really divisive in our country.
@tomlew55 Remember something though. You have forgotten that you are struggling in a land that was taken from someone else with rights that not all Americans enjoy. Wright said this isn't about the American people but the governmental policies. I will disagree it is about the American people because instead of us as a people ensure that freedom for all is the law of the land. We accept lesser freedoms applied to those that are considered inferior.
@tomlew55 race matter because that is how white people got powerful and rich there were some white trash and there still is white people who can not make it in a system for white people but even you guys have more opportunity and are giving more respect etc white people white majority countries has everything and the rest of the world has nothing we have to fight white people to get what we need we has to immigrate to there countries white people did this to thereselves hopefully they got a plan
@tomlew55 they teach that it is not about race so that regular white people like yourself don't feel bad & to alleviate the boastful whites from useing there arrogance to mess everything up for the rich whites but one day the viel will fall & your people\ will be weak and you won't have the money to protect yourself anymore at that point i feel sorry for white people i pray for them "you reap what you sew" that the bible that is why i will not have kids with white people they got hell to pay
@somecallmetim46 Why? Jesus did. John the baptist did. Ezikiel did. Issaih did. In fact, show me where a true minister or prophet didn't say these things or worse. Daniel told the King of Babylon that God will send an enemy that will destroy your kingdom the same way Jeruselem was destroyed. I mean really if we insist on killing innocent people and we invite God's wrath why doesn't a minister have the right to say that? Are we only going to church to hear what we want?
@ddsharper I agree and this is why God flooded the world millenia ago and this is why he will destroy it again. We don't learn and we allow people without true hearts of God to lie and evade these issues solely because we don't stand up enough out of fear.
@somecallmetim46 See that is part of your collective problem (meaning YOU and those who think like you). For centuries white supremacists have sought to control and regulate black speech and thought EVEN in the church. Nothing Rev Wright said in this video needs to be excuses and 100% of what he said is 100% true and factual and you KNOW this to be true yourself. You just hate that he had the guts to say it. There is NOTHING "repugnant" about the truth. America is NOT God my friend.
Ok! Slavery was horrific. Native Americans being genocided was wrong. All the more reason to embrace capitalism. It only knows one color. GREEN. I don't want to sound insensitive, but, let's move on. We shouldn't forget the dark places of our history, but it doesn't need regurgitating all the time. This is the most free country on the planet! Period! Quit crying about yesterday.
@bocupples383 Really again this is what I said before you refuse to analyze this problem in a socratic mode. Why did we kill the Native Americans? Answer not only was it about racism but it was profitable. Green. The love of money is the root of all evil. If this is the most free country on the planet the we are in trouble. As a people we need to do better and stop trying to sweep these problems under the rug. They will only get bigger.
@Ryooken Ok! That was then. Nobody is holding you down now. Where you can live where you will have more freedom? Racism is always going to exist on some level. We can't completely eliminate ignorance. What good does it to to keep rehashing it? Only 1.4% of the population even owned slaves. I feel like I always get lumped into a stereotype as an oppressive white person.
@bocupples383 Really? What are you basing this on? If memory serves me correctly the Civil Rights Act of 1964 still has a shelf life of 25 years, black people are still dealing with racial profiling as we have seen in many instances, blacks are still have been denied their right to vote in Florida by the police in 2001, black people were denied their right to safety during Katrina in 2006. So where are these equal rights?
@Ryooken ppl during Katrina were told to get the heck out. I have never seen someone who yearns to be a victim. Everybody, regaedless of color can come up with some sob story if they want. I was denied a job once. They told me they were looking for more diversity. Wah wah. I picked myself up and went on. If you don't like the USA get the heck out. See how much better it is somewhere else.
@bocupples383 Let's be clear about this nonsense. During a natural disaster of epic proportions the average citizen is ill equiped to deal with a city wide large scale evacuation. The black citizens during this disaster were not only told they were on their own but they were attacked when trying to flee. Currently there is a trial going on where officers forced these people back into the storm. So please stop try to tell me that it was their fault they didn't leave.
@Ryooken It is their fault they didn't leave earlier. Every citizen should have been on their own anyway. Regardless which party is in charge, remember this. Whatever ethnicity or sex you are, DO NOT DEPEND ON THE GOVERNMENT for anything. Keep on being a victim if you wish or hold your head up and go on about your business. Social and economic justice only exist in marxism within communism. If you are not free enough, go somewhere else.
@bocupples383 I think you don't understand what I am saying. This storm covered 3 states. It wiped out entire towns in Mississippi, and Texas. In a storm of that magnitude it's virtually impossible to get the people out that don't have resources of their own. Even if they did the government is mandated during these kinds of emergencies to set up shelters, and transportation for people that cannot transport themselves as has been done during disasters in florida and texas.
How does this clarify his statements? His statements are wrong, and are blasphemous to God's Holy Word. Yes, I do agree that the PAST governments of the U.S. were driven by racist principles. That was the 1960s. It is 2010, and the country should be over seeing color. I am a upper class white male who has plenty of African- American friends. I don't see color when I spend time with them, I see a person. I see an individual. This man needs to stop twisting the word with politics, and preach.
@pickleboy01 Not hardly, here is my advice to you. Listen to the whole sermon, then go back and read the corresponding passages in the bible particularly where many prophets up to and including Jesus himself condemning people for murder and the shedding of innocent blood. Then come back and tell me about it.
@pickleboy01 I dont think he should be saying this in church, but as far as whether this was right or not. I think some of the stuff he said was spot on. This "God Bless America" business is ridiculous given our track record
@rhfyr91 Why not where else should he say it? He is a minister of the Gospel speaking on God's judgement on governments that sin and use God's name for their own benefit to promote war and atrocities against God's word. So again where should he say this or is the USA exempt from God's judgement on the world?
Thanks for posting that. When my son's asked me about the speech as the controversy brewed I explained to them that Rev. Wright was making valid points about many times in which America has failed to live up to its promise. There are other example, such as the exposure of innocent Americans to atomic fallout, but Rev Wright could not have possibly mentioned them all. America is a great country, but in our history we have certainly failed and continue to fail at health care. Thanks again
Too bad this ignorant pig can't say God bless America for the countless lives lost by white men fighting to free their black brothers from slavery. He ignores the facts that for the U.S.A. to become a free country from British slave colonies was not an overnight process. It was also a process that required the sacrifice of blacks and whites both shedding blood for freedom. This fool sheds nothing but words of hate making his living by being a champion for ignorance. He is black KKK a devil.
I don't know if Jeremiah Wright has noticed, but everyone has equal rights now. I bet Jeremiah Wright hasn't said "God damn America" since Obama's been in office. He's wrong. The Bible does NOT say "God damn America," but it does say to count your blessings, and it also says, "What do you have that the Lord has not given to you?" Rev. Wright needs to quit his pity party and be thankful to live in such a great country.
@coryepps Nope wrong again if everyone had equal rights the Civil Rights Act of 1964 wouldn't have to be renewed every 25 years. Wrong again he stated that in his press club interview that if Obama became president he wouldn't change because the policies of this country grind people under. As I said below people really aren't patriots if they don't care about liberty and justice for all. You seem to be one of them.
@Ryooken What do you suggest America do in order to insure that all people be treated fairly? What is your brilliant plan for making sure that all people be treated fairly? I read the civil rights act of 1964. If that and the thirteenth through the fifteenth amendment do not secure fair treatment of all American citizens, then I do not know what will. Poor people have to stop being poor in spirit, no matter what color. Jeremiah Wright has the most important lesson "Forgive us as we forgive"
@DoublePrimo44004 At last a question of worth. What my brilliant plan is simple. Change the 13th 14th and 15th Amendment to the constitution. Creating a new Amendment that does one thing. It clearly states that all people born in this country have equal rights and those rights cannot be removed unless the person wishes to remove their rights i.e. by leaving the country and becoming a citizen of another or they are guilty of spying. By doing this neo-slavery would end. continued
@Ryooken Then I would have a nation wide man hunt for all terrorist organizations. White terrorist groups the KKK, Aryan movement etc. Treat them the same way that we have Al Queada. Find them and then try, and if guilty give them life in prison without the possibility of parole. Thus this would remove terrorism from our nation. Then I would remove both the civil rights act and create the human rights act of 2015. continued
@Ryooken This act would deal with the real problems of human oppression. This independent agency would work directly with the president, congress, state and local authority, the eeoc would immediately fall under this agency and police government as well a private agencys allowing for both civil and criminal prosecution against those that violated human rights laws. This is a beginning. One final thing I would create TV programs that showed people as being people not just white people but all.
I don't know if you have noticed, but people DO NOT have equal rights in this country. Have you noticed that almost 100 percent of low income housing in this country is black? Have you noticed that the vast majority of politicians in this country are white? Have you noticed that your success, your job, your livelihood is majorly dependent on your race? It's the truth, like it or not.
There needs to be a shift in focus from the American Dream to the nightmares that plague millions of underprivleged Americans every day, whether it be black, brown, yellow, gay or any other citizens. God damns unfair treatment of any particular group of people. What Rev Wright is saying is that any "God" worth worshiping must be a God of justice, a God who opposes injustice. There is a difference between opposition to American injustice and anti-Americanism.
@rockyracoonist So, according to you, American citizens should shift their focus from having a dream to having a nightmare? I noticed you didn't mention white people in your nightmare scenario. About the same number of white people live under the poverty line as black Americans. This is decieving though, because there are over 200 million more whites than blacks. So, let me put it like this white Americans make up 8.2 % of the poor while blacks make up about 25 %, according to the AFP.
@rockyracoonist Have you noticed that the vast majority of people in this country are white? Have you noticed that you are wrong about 100 % of low income housing being black? Have you noticed you really don't know what you are talking about? Your success is dependent on your education, work ethic, and outlook on life.
@rockyracoonist People most definately do have equal rights in this country. Why are so many blacks on welfare/ have low income, you ask? Becuase they have become dependent on this "nanny state" welfare system in which they can get by by doing little to no work. Also the vast majority of politicians are white. I would expect it if 60% of the population are, in fact, white. Success dependent upon race here? Nope wrong again. Its more related to your enviroment and determination to succeed. Truth.
@rockyracoonist So you're telling me that a black man can't have good income or be a politician if he truly desires to be?? Look at our President, Colin Powell... how many black athletes make millions of dollars a year?? Everyone has equal rights, but hey, I suppose some can just cope with blaming other people for their problems. One day, people are gonna actually take responsibility for their own actions, and what a glorious day that will be.
@coryepps I see you didn't answer my question? Does everyone's equal rights have to be renewed every 25 years or isn't just non-white people? So you are an authority on equal rights? Again who are to declare who doesn't have them? That's liek you coming to me and saying there is someone targeting my family. My cousin just died and you counter with how can they be targeting your family when all the others still live and just your cousin died. I point out we all received death threats. cont.
@Ryooken So say well others received death threats daily how does that put your family in danger? So how silly this argument is. By showcasing one person doesn't chang the dynamic of all the people involved. It's like setting up a maze, yes some people will get through anything but making people run a maze in order to live is immoral.
@coryepps Again you are speaking nonsense. We aren't talking about life is easy for white people. What we are talking about is white priviledge that is fostered and protected by white people bought on the blood of people that have been and currently are oppressed. It's about yin and yang. Cause and effect. What you refuse to do is analyze this situation in a socratic mode. That is what makes you disengenuous.
@Oathkeeper570 Here is the problem with this logic. In the constitution we are supposed to promote liberty and justice fall all. Not some a couple a few but all. A true patriot fights for their country but not just on the battle field but in the halls of justice. If you don't have justice in this country, it's just as damaging as any invader. The founding fathers warned us and stated stay ever vigilant against injustic and those that would destroy freedom in order to promote security. cont.
@Ryooken Wright is speaking upon historical injustice both in the far past and our recent past. What I find interesting is a people who claim to be christian and a people who claim to want liberty and justice for all are angry because he is stating we don't have justice in this country instead of being angry with the injustic itself. Here is something else Wright is saying, he states if you want justice rely on God and not the government and solve your own problems with God's help. continued
@Ryooken This part of his message is drowned out. Ignoring history doesn't do away with anything. Denying our past and our present doesn't change it. Trying to say that he hates the US doesn't make it so. Here is the simple fact. Reverend Wright spoke the truth, to his congregation in his own church. He has that right under the constitution. You may not agree with what he said but you must respect his right to do so.
Bar shouldn't have turned his back on this. As a matter of fact, he should have acknowledged it by saying "the reason I am here is to correct those injustices". As a military retiree, it's true that we are treated like commodities. Other public employees have extensive rights, benefits, & entitlements while we defenders are forsaken. They can strike if dissatisfied, unionize, get the same amount in pension as when active, etc. That's sacrifice & ser vice? More like bankrupting the nation.
@franknblunt I agree. The military has been badly treated and they should have been recompensed for their service. Michelle is trying to correct some of it but it really needs to come from the president.
haha, just watched the whole thing,,,this guy is awesome...he speaks the truth about the crimes that the US gov't has committed,,,then says, don't say God Bless America, God Damn America, God Damn American! I love it.
Men of the Creator has tried to bring people together, but people are foolish and don't like to listen to what is true. They would rather hear a lie.
The Messiah tried to teach men how to live together and what happend to Him. The two witnesses are going to give people the truth about their actions and it says that the masses will hate them. So please its not the Men of G_d as you call it. Its the hard headed people who don't want to listen.
The U.S. gov. just doesn't pick on minorities. There are alot of white kids taking riddlin, xanax, oxycontin and other drugs out there. The gov. doesn't care about people period.
You are stuck on Willie Lynch, but the BIG difference is that slaves were forbidden to read. People today just don't care to read. Poeple today in America are slaves because they choose to be. Most have a slave mentality and copy what they see on T.V.
@1HelpingMany Oh and I suppose the Tuskegee study was just a fad. :) I suppose the Japanese interment camps were just a hiccup. I suppose the Indian reservations are just a matter of a misunderstanding. I suppose the sterilization program for retarded women was let's an unfortunate incident. Racial profiling that's just good police work. I could go on but I hope you get the point. Yes, the government does go out of it's way to pick on minorities.
All the mentally challenged women were not one race. I'm sure there were some whites in there.
Your arguement has been only minorities are oppressed. You have some good information, but I have been down this road with people before. Blaming everyone else for whats wrong with their world.
If one knows who their enemy is. Adjust!
Don't keep doing the same thing and expect a different outcome.
People hating others for the color of skin, all the while brotha's are the ones stabbing you in the back
@1HelpingMany I didn't say they were of one race. You stated and I quote" The government is not targeting minorities." I showed where they were. Mentally challenged people "That were called retarded during that time" were sterilized and they are a minority. However, this isn't the point. We aren't talking about what is illusionary but is what's happening. We are talking about crimes committed against people on the basis of their race. continued
@Ryooken Crime is crime and if you are going to punish black people for drug abuse, then you must by definition punish the people who are promoting racism to destroy communities. The greatest crime on this earth is racism. Racism has been responsible for the greatest atrocities to date. Slavery, reservations, concentration camps, 7 wars, the drug trade and a host of other problems cause by the government with the approval of most of their citizens not victimized by these crimes. continued
@Ryooken Now you state you know about these things yet, you tell others that are clearly vicitims of these crimes to deal with it. This makes me question your morals, as it is every Americans responsibility to promote justice as we are supposed to be a government of for and by the people. If you aren't willing to do this then you cannot to others that they don't have the right to seek justice. This is what we are talking about here is justice for all.
Arabs were big on the slave trade.. along with Blacks way before the Anglo's came on the sceen. The Arabs are actually the ones who told the Europeans about Black slaves. It wasn't about race. It was about socail class, war captives, working off debt and other things. It didn't become a racist view until the European saw the empires that the Africans had built and wanted credit for it themselves. They have white washed alot of information and made Blacks seem like savages.
I don't believe I told anyone of a crime to deal with it. You are attempting to put words in my mouth.
The government moves tons of other products that destroy peoples well being. That are just as harmful if not more then drugs
To sit there and say that family bares no responsibility for their own actions is a silly statement. Again just because you have McDonalds on every corner doesn't mean you have to eat at McDonalds. Its very simple. Not everybody does drugs
I woundn't say racism is main factor behind the things you mentioned more then power and greed is. Racism places a part, but its not the biggest crime.
People should stop taking surface information to form opinions about how they see things.
The holocaust was funded by "jewish" upper class along with Prescott Bush. That was not racist more then it is about wanting to gain access to the country of Israel. They created a problem, acted on it, and the solution was give them a country.
You have to tell me what wars you are speaking of to get a better understanding behind them. I know most of them were not about race more then they were about reshaping power around the globe.
I agree with you that the drug trade is horrific and what they have done to the inner cities. They will be judge for that.
I see good "White" people and I see good "Black" people in the world. I don't like to condemn an entire race of people for the bad ones.
I find it interesting how you try to quote me and change my quote. My accurate quote was "The U.S. gov. just doesn't pick on minorities". Did you get the just part in there. It means not only picks on minorities. I know what minorities face in the U.S. and abroad because I have lived in different place all over the world. So before you go telling me what you have read. I'm telling you what I have lived and seen with my own eyes.
@1HelpingMany I see you didn't pay attention to the fact that even though I left of the word just, I addressed it anyway. Again regardless of where you have been or what you have seen holds no wait here. I too have been all over the world and have seen many things. However, racism I have experienced personally. I will stack my 40 pluss years against that any day. Like I said I know what is an isn't based on racism. .
Well if your going to quote some one. It only make sense to do it right
Traveling some where and living some where are two different things. Stacking 40 years don't mean much if wisdom doesn't come along with it.
I know many people who talk about years on this earth and repeat the same nonsense they did when they were 18.
Alot of your information is one sided and doesn't cover more then surface information that many people can gain, but sometimes things go alittle deeper then that.
@1HelpingMany If you think you can compare your knowledge of racism to mine, you are sadly mistaken. Not only have I studied racism but I have lived it. Can you say the same? I understand it better than you do. I understand what the government has done and why they did it. So again you can say what you would like but that doesn't cancel out my decades of experience. I do agree about one thing age isn't a sign of maturity.
@1HelpingMany Really? Are you black? I have experienced racism all over the world. Actually, I am not. Where I am coming from is that we both know that experience far outweighs everything else. Now whether you faced discrimination where you lived I have no doubt whether it is raced based that I do not know. I am not trying to take your experiences away from you but you stated that living and traveling aren't the same and that's not always true.
So your not so called "Black" but you speak as if you have lived as one.
Yes I am a person of color, I don't use the term "Black" because thats not a race, but a term placed on a person of a light, brown or dark hue. Just like people thinking Anglo's and Caucasian are the same, calling them which they are not.
Also yes I lived in these places, not just traveled to them. So I speak from experience.
@1HelpingMany I am sorry that was a typo. Yes, I am very much African American. In fact, I am part Cherokee/African American. No I don't call myself black, I just use the term for space considerations here on youtube. I know full good and well that our people come in many shades of brown. Funny thing is that most people don't use either term much anymore and I don't believe even those that do remember the distinction. Again I apologize for the misunderstanding over my typo.
@Ryooken NO NOT AT ALL. I.E... The late Senator Byrd. He was a klansman and actually held a top spot in Virginia as Cyclops. He even recruited hundreds of members. And he died as a what................ Democrat.
change can be good and bad but doing nothing is far worse than any bad decision.
the bible is stagnant, stale and unchanging, Jeremiah Wright has a point, what if government didnt change? african americans would still be slaves and women still would have no say in government.
@MrPhsycodude999 The fact that you would say this clearly demonstrates your lack of morals. Sadly, morally bankrupt people aren't really worth discussing anything with, this has been my experience as I will waste no more time on you.
@MrPhsycodude999 Nothing happened to Jesus. In fact if you had bothered to read the entire sermon then you would understand the context that he is speaking about Jesus and how we have ignored Jesus as we have asked God to bless our murder and mayhem against one another because we are confusing God with our government.
STFU, Not one of those people in the office to slavery, Not only that, but YOU WERE NOT ALIVE IN SLAVERY YOU YOU HIPPOCRATIC, THINGS CHANGE!! THERE IS NO SLAVERY TODAY!!! SO GOD DAMN AMERICA? THEN GET THE HELL OUT IF WE FAILED SO MUCH!! BUILD A BRIDGE, AND GET OVER IT AND GET OUT!!
I'm not racist, but how can you not be when you hear this crap?
And I bet if I went into that church, I would get cock eyed, staring faces at me!!
@MrPhsycodude999 LOL! Wrong again not only is there legal slavery in this country with prison slavery but there is still the sex slaves trade and human trafficking. So again like my mother used to say. Clean up your own back yard before you talk about others.
@Ryooken Were is there legal slavery? Prison Slavery? Wow, do you know that the reason the little people are in jail/prison is because they did something wrong. Then I suppose you will say why is it all blacks? Here in America, Blacks will kill blacks over drugs. Watch the News tonight, you'll see what I men. And your "Evidence" is not even "evidence"
@MrPhsycodude999 LOL! Really? Another uneducated person. Let's begin slavery didn't end in 1865, it changed into Jim Crow. If you aren't familiar with Jim Crow then I suggest you look up neo-slavery on youtube. I posted it below but I know how good you people are at following up on things. I also suggest you look up American slavery. continued
@Ryooken Now I really don't want to waste a lot of time on you. You simply aren't worth the effort. People have been put in jail doesn't make them guilty. This country has a long history of blaming and putting blacks, indians etc. into prison with little or no provocation. No we aren't talking about all people who actually do committ crimes but it's a fact that blacks and whites sell drugs at the same rate but blacks are 10 times more likely to be arrested.
@Ryooken No Ryooken, you are the one is out of line. Yes, immediately after the civil war, there was civil injustice, but today it is a very rare thing. Today, we can point to many criminals who go free for civil injustice.
@jgrove2000 What are you basing this nonsense on? You're vast knowledge of all things civil rights? No, in fact there is as much injustice in this country as there ever has been but like in the past it accepted because it's happening largely in the minority communities.
Countries are governed by laws, so its not smart to apply the same standards to some one who behind bars.
I do agree on what the gov. did to the black communities to separate the families and what so, but no one forces anyone to take drugs. Just because you live in a bakery doesn't mean you have to eat the cakes.
The fact of the matter is governments are not right. They are actually hurting the people more then they are helping. WAY MORE!
@1HelpingMany I think you have forgotten something here. You say that no one forces people to take drugs right? Bear in mind that most of the drugs being peddled are being sold to children not adults. So the government gives drugs to children who are neither mature enough nor disciplined enough to stop themselves. Just say no doesn't work as we have seen that peer pressure can derail most children. Some claim it's totally the parents responsibility. continued
@Ryooken This is an oximoron because parents of children cannot control the government actions anymore than parents of children could stop themselves from being slaves. It's the government that peddles drugs to the black community in order to destroy it that creates these problems. It's the government that sells guns to children that creates these problems so by the time these children get to become adults they are already indoctrinated into a self-destructive lifestyle that started from 9-12.
There is a thing that I see is lost with todays generation. Its called personal responsibility. I know what the gov. has done covertly to the inner cities of America, but it doesn't stop there.
How long are people going to blame "THE MAN".
You speak as if every little 9 year old is walking around with a gun. Life is about choices, good and bad. Gov can supply all the drugs they want, but people don't have to partake in it.
People want to complain, but don't want to make changes.
@1HelpingMany That's the point though the system isn't design to hold down all minorities just most of them. For racism as a system to work there 3 things must happen. 1st you must have racial showcasing. 2nd you must have racial sacrifice. 3rd you must have racial blindness i.e. the color blind society. This is what we are seeing. We call it personal responsibility but responsiblity only goes so far and we have sacrificed community responsibility to personal responsibility.
We know that there are bad things in the world. We know that there are people in places who look to control society as a whole. They really don't care if your black, white, asian or hispanic.
You can tell people all day that some thing is wrong or bad for them. Most of them simply don't care
You can say all day that drugs are sold to children, but they are also sold to adults and the decision still lies with them. Children know right from wrong. You can blame peer pressure all you want
@1HelpingMany That's a very convenient excuse but it doesn't hold water. This excuses nothing of the government's activities. We aren't simply talking about criminals but the US government engaging in systematic poisoning of children and you are say oh well bad things happen and the children should know better. You are right about one thing. We should not look to this government to help as Wright stated. We have to do this ourselves.
You seem to be the one using excuses to make a point. Yes we know the U.S. gov. is not right, but does it force young men to have their butts hanging of their pants. Does it force them to drop out of school. Does it force them to spend their money on big rims rather then some thing to help further their education.
For all the children on drugs, there are many who are not who still act like fools. There are not many people pointing guns at childrens head forcing them to take drugs.
Its so much more then just kids on drugs. Everyday people do things that keep themselves enslaved. Gov does their part, uneducated masses play their part. Its a cycle that needs to be broken.
As long as people just sit back and blame other and do nothing about it. Nothing will get done.
As many criminals who are falsely imprisoned, there are much more who actually do commit the crime. Did some one force them to break into some ones house, or shoot some one. Personal Responsibility!
Drugs are being peddled to kids and adults alike. Yes it is parents responsibilty aswell as other things must fall in line. Like a good community, support system, role models.
You have made it as if people have no freedom of thought. We must give into peer pressure, drugs and other things that destroy the soul.
I don't agree with that theory what so ever.
We have free will for a reason.
I've been around people who have taken drugs and it didn't sway me to want to take them.
@1HelpingMany Correction drugs are being peddled to adults since they were kids. If you look at the statistical information to see when people started using drugs, you will find that the majority 70-85% of black drug use started off from age 12. In communities that are constantly being devistated by the government that's a huge margin. We tolerate it because we are told that these people are inherently immoral, so nothing is done.
@1HelpingMany Again you are mixing things. Black children are indoctrinated into prison culture from the day they are born. As done in 1712 with Willie Lynch this program has gone on for 298 years. It continues today. People are allowed to poison themselves poison is promoted in black neighborhoods more so than anywhere else.
Many black children are indoctrinated because alot of them don't care to pick up books and read. They rather watch BET or spend their money on looking like a thug. Yes we all are indoctrinated in case you haven't noticed. Our histories are erased to make way for a made up one, but that where one needs to stop sitting on ones butt and stop blaming "the man" and go out and search for truth. Most people are told truth and don't even care to hear it. So blaming drugs will not help.
@1HelpingMany Indeed and much of that indoctrination is planned by the powers that be. Are you seeing a pattern here? Yes, we are all indocturinated. Some escape it some don't but that is not a rational justification for allowing communities to be destroyed because of it. Again this is why this argument fails every time. I see so if it was the white community that was having this problem I suppose the government would do nothing right?
You are writing things I alreayd know about. I sympathize with all groups have undergone by the hands of corrupt people.
It just seems your stuck on only minorites are being targeted. Last time I check there was MSG, aspartame, fluoride. I could go on and on about whats killing people of all races. I've traveled the world so I have seen what goes on with all races.
You only want to study about a certain group, so you miss everything else because it doesn't fall under you radar.
@1HelpingMany Ah but you stated that the government was not out to get minorities. You didn't say what those minorities were. I showed you where you were wrong. Again how does the US government targeting minorities through racist practices is cancelled out by other shady things the government does? That's a fallacious argument. Wrong again I studied the history of all people's this is how I can seperate what is done because of racism and what is not.

If you do a sermon on all oppression in the history of the world, America, though not perfect, would look pretty small. This is aimed at holding a magnfying glass at the US.
Saventry 1 year ago
@Saventry Two things. First America isn't small when it comes to oppression and murder and the second thing is he was talking about all governments. Here is a part of the sermon you don't get to hear. Long before there was a Red White and Blue colonization, the Egyptian government was doing colonization. They colonized half the continent of Africa, they colonized parts of the Mediterranean. All colonizers aint White. Turn to your neighbor and say oppressors come in all colors.

I am waiting for Fox News-since they are also leading the neo-con hate campaign against Islam--to take this challenge: get a Christian to be allowed to read John: Chap 8 in major synogogue

Townhouse77 1 year ago
@Townhouse77 Really? Bear in mind that this is only 6 minutes of a 1 hour sermon. I suggest you listen to the entire sermon. By the way ministers do say one verse and then build a sermon around it. Go to church then come back out and listen to this again, you might learn something.

That's a great way to make rational people act irrational, or is that what people like you really want.
tomlew55 1 year ago
@tomlew55 I am sorry what hatred? How is Smithy a racist? Did he get together and steal white lands, take white people as slaves, make laws that state white people can't vote, get married to black people, or can't own guns, even can't travel freely. How is he a racist? What he is saying is a matter of historical fact. I don't agree that if he finds love with a white woman, he shouldn't marry her but that's his personal choice.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@RyookenRead my comment again, I didnt call smithy a racist, and if you cant sense the hatred that is running wild in this country then I feel sorry for you. Too many are fanning the flames for their own personal gain. Just watch cable news, the more outrageous the comment, the more air time they get. And the rich keep getting richer.....as long as they keep the rest of us divided.
tomlew55 1 year ago
@tomlew55 I am not talking about the hatred in this country. Yes, I can feel it. However, what you said was his hatred and he was a cancer. I asked for clarification. He stated that he felt sorry for white people and he prayed for them but he wouldn't marry a white person because of the judgement against them. That's not hatred. You don't pray for people you hate. You kill or hurt them.

trowsertrowt 1 year ago
@trowsertrowt You raise a good point on preaching hard work and overcoming difficulties; I agree with that 100%. But in a marathon race in which most run with shoes on, you tell one group they can't get into the race, then when you allow them into the race 60 min. late, you take their shoes and make them run barefoot, then tell them don't pay attention to those with shoes, "just overcome" and expect them to run just as fast, that's a challenge that most whites don't face or have to face.
jnthnlck 1 year ago
@jnthnlck in no way am i downplaying what happened to blacks, it was a crime against humanity. but you assuming that most whites have it made is ignorant. my ancestors were poor europeans who came here looking for a better life and all they got was disrespect and humiliation, some even went back where they came from. my life has been a struggle, nothing has been handed to me. if your parents are wealthy or politically connected then life will be easier, it doesnt matter which race you are.
tomlew55 1 year ago
@tomlew55 I see your point, But 2 points. 1) my analogy about the marathon race doesn't apply only along the lines of race; it's ultimately a fight between the haves, have nots and have mores. 2) my marathon analogy doesnt just apply to the history, people are still being forced to run barefoot in 2010 along the lines of race or economic class, which is what J. Wright was describing. Some call him divisive, but civil abuses he merely describes are what's really divisive in our country.
jnthnlck 1 year ago

We shouldn't forget the dark places of our history, but it doesn't need regurgitating all the time. This is the most free country on the planet! Period! Quit crying about yesterday.
bocupples383 1 year ago
@bocupples383 Really again this is what I said before you refuse to analyze this problem in a socratic mode. Why did we kill the Native Americans? Answer not only was it about racism but it was profitable. Green. The love of money is the root of all evil. If this is the most free country on the planet the we are in trouble. As a people we need to do better and stop trying to sweep these problems under the rug. They will only get bigger.

@Ryooken Ok! That was then. Nobody is holding you down now. Where you can live where you will have more freedom? Racism is always going to exist on some level.

See how much better it is somewhere else.
bocupples383 1 year ago
@bocupples383 Let's be clear about this nonsense. During a natural disaster of epic proportions the average citizen is ill equiped to deal with a city wide large scale evacuation. The black citizens during this disaster were not only told they were on their own but they were attacked when trying to flee. Currently there is a trial going on where officers forced these people back into the storm. So please stop try to tell me that it was their fault they didn't leave.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken It is their fault they didn't leave earlier. Every citizen should have been on their own anyway. Regardless which party is in charge, remember this. Whatever ethnicity or sex you are, DO NOT DEPEND ON THE GOVERNMENT for anything. Keep on being a victim if you wish or hold your head up and go on about your business. Social and economic justice only exist in marxism within communism. If you are not free enough, go somewhere else.
bocupples383 1 year ago
@bocupples383 I think you don't understand what I am saying. This storm covered 3 states. It wiped out entire towns in Mississippi, and Texas. In a storm of that magnitude it's virtually impossible to get the people out that don't have resources of their own. Even if they did the government is mandated during these kinds of emergencies to set up shelters, and transportation for people that cannot transport themselves as has been done during disasters in florida and texas.

@KINGSTER5000 actually, he is right. God CANNOT pardon the shedding of innocent blood. And you ARE a racist prick!

Wright needs to quit his pity party and be thankful to live in such a great country.
coryepps 1 year ago
@coryepps Nope wrong again if everyone had equal rights the Civil Rights Act of 1964 wouldn't have to be renewed every 25 years. Wrong again he stated that in his press club interview that if Obama became president he wouldn't change because the policies of this country grind people under. As I said below people really aren't patriots if they don't care about liberty and justice for all. You seem to be one of them.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken What do you suggest America do in order to insure that all people be treated fairly? What is your brilliant plan for making sure that all people be treated fairly? I read the civil rights act of 1964. If that and the thirteenth through the fifteenth amendment do not secure fair treatment of all American citizens, then I do not know what will. Poor people have to stop being poor in spirit, no matter what color. Jeremiah Wright has the most important lesson "Forgive us as we forgive"
DoublePrimo44004 1 year ago
@DoublePrimo44004 At last a question of worth. What my brilliant plan is simple. Change the 13th 14th and 15th Amendment to the constitution. Creating a new Amendment that does one thing. It clearly states that all people born in this country have equal rights and those rights cannot be removed unless the person wishes to remove their rights i.e. by leaving the country and becoming a citizen of another or they are guilty of spying. By doing this neo-slavery would end. continued
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken Then I would have a nation wide man hunt for all terrorist organizations. White terrorist groups the KKK, Aryan movement etc. Treat them the same way that we have Al Queada. Find them and then try, and if guilty give them life in prison without the possibility of parole. Thus this would remove terrorism from our nation. Then I would remove both the civil rights act and create the human rights act of 2015. continued
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken This act would deal with the real problems of human oppression. This independent agency would work directly with the president, congress, state and local authority, the eeoc would immediately fall under this agency and police government as well a private agencys allowing for both civil and criminal prosecution against those that violated human rights laws. This is a beginning. One final thing I would create TV programs that showed people as being people not just white people but all.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@coryepps
It's the truth, like it or not.
rockyracoonist 1 year ago
@rockyracoonist
There is a difference between opposition to American injustice and anti-Americanism.
rockyracoonist 1 year ago
@rockyracoonist So, according to you, American citizens should shift their focus from having a dream to having a nightmare? I noticed you didn't mention white people in your nightmare scenario. About the same number of white people live under the poverty line as black Americans. This is decieving though, because there are over 200 million more whites than blacks. So, let me put it like this white Americans make up 8.2 % of the poor while blacks make up about 25 %, according to the AFP.
DoublePrimo44004 1 year ago
@rockyracoonist Have you noticed that the vast majority of people in this country are white? Have you noticed that you are wrong about 100 % of low income housing being black? Have you noticed you really don't know what you are talking about? Your success is dependent on your education, work ethic, and outlook on life.
DoublePrimo44004 1 year ago
@rockyracoonist People most definately do have equal rights in this country. Why are so many blacks on welfare/ have low income, you ask? Becuase they have become dependent on this "nanny state" welfare system in which they can get by by doing little to no work. Also the vast majority of politicians are white. I would expect it if 60% of the population are, in fact, white. Success dependent upon race here? Nope wrong again. Its more related to your enviroment and determination to succeed. Truth.
TheCommentifyer 1 year ago
@rockyracoonist So you're telling me that a black man can't have good income or be a politician if he truly desires to be?? Look at our President, Colin Powell... how many black athletes make millions of dollars a year?? Everyone has equal rights, but hey, I suppose some can just cope with blaming other people for their problems. One day, people are gonna actually take responsibility for their own actions, and what a glorious day that will be.
coryepps 1 year ago
@coryepps Amen to that!
johnnyjohnson 1 year ago
@coryepps I see you didn't answer my question? Does everyone's equal rights have to be renewed every 25 years or isn't just non-white people? So you are an authority on equal rights? Again who are to declare who doesn't have them? That's liek you coming to me and saying there is someone targeting my family. My cousin just died and you counter with how can they be targeting your family when all the others still live and just your cousin died. I point out we all received death threats. cont.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken So say well others received death threats daily how does that put your family in danger? So how silly this argument is. By showcasing one person doesn't chang the dynamic of all the people involved. It's like setting up a maze, yes some people will get through anything but making people run a maze in order to live is immoral.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken What can I say?? I guess life is easy for every white man... Apparently I wouldn't understand.
coryepps 1 year ago
@coryepps Again you are speaking nonsense. We aren't talking about life is easy for white people. What we are talking about is white priviledge that is fostered and protected by white people bought on the blood of people that have been and currently are oppressed. It's about yin and yang. Cause and effect. What you refuse to do is analyze this situation in a socratic mode. That is what makes you disengenuous.

Oathkeeper570 1 year ago
@Oathkeeper570 Here is the problem with this logic. In the constitution we are supposed to promote liberty and justice fall all. Not some a couple a few but all. A true patriot fights for their country but not just on the battle field but in the halls of justice. If you don't have justice in this country, it's just as damaging as any invader. The founding fathers warned us and stated stay ever vigilant against injustic and those that would destroy freedom in order to promote security. cont.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken Wright is speaking upon historical injustice both in the far past and our recent past. What I find interesting is a people who claim to be christian and a people who claim to want liberty and justice for all are angry because he is stating we don't have justice in this country instead of being angry with the injustic itself. Here is something else Wright is saying, he states if you want justice rely on God and not the government and solve your own problems with God's help. continued
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken This part of his message is drowned out. Ignoring history doesn't do away with anything. Denying our past and our present doesn't change it. Trying to say that he hates the US doesn't make it so. Here is the simple fact. Reverend Wright spoke the truth, to his congregation in his own church. He has that right under the constitution. You may not agree with what he said but you must respect his right to do so.

@Ryooken You've become mired by history. You should learn from it, don't become it.

They can strike if dissatisfied, unionize, get the same amount in pension as when active, etc. That's sacrifice & ser vice? More like bankrupting the nation.

We are talking about crimes committed against people on the basis of their race. continued
Ryooken 1 year ago

@Ryooken
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@Ryooken
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@Ryooken
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@Ryooken
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@Ryooken
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@1HelpingMany I see you didn't pay attention to the fact that even though I left of the word just, I addressed it anyway. Again regardless of where you have been or what you have seen holds no wait here. I too have been all over the world and have seen many things. However, racism I have experienced personally. I will stack my 40 pluss years against that any day. Like I said I know what is an isn't based on racism. .
Ryooken 1 year ago
Ryooken
Well if your going to quote some one. It only make sense to do it right
Traveling some where and living some where are two different things. Stacking 40 years don't mean much if wisdom doesn't come along with it.
I know many people who talk about years on this earth and repeat the same nonsense they did when they were 18.
Alot of your information is one sided and doesn't cover more then surface information that many people can gain, but sometimes things go alittle deeper then that.
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@1HelpingMany If you think you can compare your knowledge of racism to mine, you are sadly mistaken. Not only have I studied racism but I have lived it. Can you say the same? I understand it better than you do. I understand what the government has done and why they did it. So again you can say what you would like but that doesn't cancel out my decades of experience. I do agree about one thing age isn't a sign of maturity.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken
Actually yes I can say the same. I have lived racism in America, Israel and Africa.
Can you say the same.
You are not coming with fact but emotions now. I have no problem with you, so don't turn this into an argument.
I would rather choose a healthy debate. Not arguments lead by emotions.
I'm sure your travels have given you good sight of what goes on. I would not take that from any man, but don't assume mine hasen't either.
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@1HelpingMany Really? Are you black? I have experienced racism all over the world. Actually, I am not. Where I am coming from is that we both know that experience far outweighs everything else. Now whether you faced discrimination where you lived I have no doubt whether it is raced based that I do not know. I am not trying to take your experiences away from you but you stated that living and traveling aren't the same and that's not always true.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@1HelpingMany I am sorry that was a typo. Yes, I am very much African American. In fact, I am part Cherokee/African American. No I don't call myself black, I just use the term for space considerations here on youtube. I know full good and well that our people come in many shades of brown. Funny thing is that most people don't use either term much anymore and I don't believe even those that do remember the distinction. Again I apologize for the misunderstanding over my typo.

@jgrove2000 What are you basing this nonsense on? You're vast knowledge of all things civil rights? No, in fact there is as much injustice in this country as there ever has been but like in the past it accepted because it's happening largely in the minority communities.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken
WAY MORE!
People need to wake up.
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@1HelpingMany I think you have forgotten something here. You say that no one forces people to take drugs right? Bear in mind that most of the drugs being peddled are being sold to children not adults. So the government gives drugs to children who are neither mature enough nor disciplined enough to stop themselves. Just say no doesn't work as we have seen that peer pressure can derail most children. Some claim it's totally the parents responsibility. continued
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken This is an oximoron because parents of children cannot control the government actions anymore than parents of children could stop themselves from being slaves. It's the government that peddles drugs to the black community in order to destroy it that creates these problems. It's the government that sells guns to children that creates these problems so by the time these children get to become adults they are already indoctrinated into a self-destructive lifestyle that started from 9-12.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@1HelpingMany That's the point though the system isn't design to hold down all minorities just most of them. For racism as a system to work there 3 things must happen. 1st you must have racial showcasing. 2nd you must have racial sacrifice. 3rd you must have racial blindness i.e. the color blind society. This is what we are seeing. We call it personal responsibility but responsiblity only goes so far and we have sacrificed community responsibility to personal responsibility.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@1HelpingMany That's a very convenient excuse but it doesn't hold water. This excuses nothing of the government's activities. We aren't simply talking about criminals but the US government engaging in systematic poisoning of children and you are say oh well bad things happen and the children should know better. You are right about one thing. We should not look to this government to help as Wright stated. We have to do this ourselves.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@Ryooken
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@Ryooken
1HelpingMany 1 year ago
@1HelpingMany Correction drugs are being peddled to adults since they were kids. If you look at the statistical information to see when people started using drugs, you will find that the majority 70-85% of black drug use started off from age 12. In communities that are constantly being devistated by the government that's a huge margin. We tolerate it because we are told that these people are inherently immoral, so nothing is done.
Ryooken 1 year ago
@Ryooken Very interesting take, especially the "inherently immoral" because the Church made the same case when justifying enslaving Africans

They smoke cigarettes, eat food they know are harmful to them, but don't care.
I've know people who started smoking when they where children all types of drugs, but as they grew up they made the decision to change.
Is drugs the cause of children having their pants below their butts. Its a decision they choose to make.
