The new BBCOR bats are the only metal bats you can use in high school or college baseball. Right now in my high school league were allowed to ONLY USE BBCOR or WOOD. For those who say wood bats are dangerous because of them braking are wrong. They do break. MOST of the time it just CRACKS. And it's rare to have half a wooden bat fly at you.

U have no clue what you're talking about. When a ball jumps off a metal bat at the pitcher at a speed that exceeds 108 mph, it is impossible for the pitcher to react in time. It takes less time for the ball to travel 60' 6'' than it does for the pitcher's nervous system to process the the visual stimuli and send the signal through his spine to the skeletal muscles so he can react. Baseball wasn't meant to be played with metal. Grow a pair and swing a wooden bat.

This matter of "inconclusivity" of reports happens a lot where you have two sides arguing that their scientific measurements are more credible than the other one- in this case the safety of the bats- even though they are to the contrary !!
