@932kid I am assuming that your request via text was not just out of the blue but in line with the back and forth conversation you had with this freshman. If it was just random and out of the blue you may need counseling ! Let the dust settle after you make a sincere apology . She is hurt and needs time to heal . That is a very painful experience you are asking her to get over . My bet is that she will return and you once again will break her heart.
