  • Suicide isn't allowed for Christians. You have responsibilities you haven't finished if you are doing that. The ole "I'm never going to be loved" is crap, Christians should be dishing out love and good deeds to others, not seeking it for themselves. Give out enough love and it will be returned. Everyone I have ever seen say "nobody loves me" had done spot all to show love to others or to help anyone else. Stay busy helping and loving others and you don't have to worry about who loves you.

  • Yeah we are taught we arnt "Allowed" to commit suicide. But no one is allowed to commit suicice full stop. Its actually illigal, and if you survive the attempt your usually put into a special ward for a minimum of 30 days.

What you have just said proves my point of religon insted of seeing God. Youve just noted that as a Christian you have to do everything the church says you have to. But God is as much us as he is the church. Everyone goes through the "no one loves me stage"

  • --Everyone goes through the "no one loves me stage"--

Sure, getting past that is a part of growing up and becoming mature. Both as a person and as a Christian.

  • I am Christian but don't have a "church" telling me what to do. I read the Bible for myself. I worship with a couple of hundred other Christians who do the same. No priests or Popes or whatever, as those aren't in the Bible. If you ever have problems with the "church" you may want to seek out a nondenominational Bible church and try it. If Catholicism works for you that's fine. But I know some that thought their problem was with Christianity when it was really with oppressive church bureaucracy.

  • I dont attend church, And it may come across as hypercrytical i dont mean for it to Im sorry.

I dont believe for me to be a christian which is part of who i am that i must attend church to worship.

There are parts of christianity i dont agree with especially in the catholic church and the anglican church etc... but thats normal. Some of my friends are penticostal christians and dont agree with me being bi-sexual. That just makes me angry

  • "I dont attend church, ... that i must attend church to worship."

It isn't "must attend" it is "get to attend". I know that is hard to believe from someone whose background is Anglicans and Catholics with all the rituals, confessionals, and bureaucracy. But the support of a loving supportive church is one of the best parts of being a Christian. It is like having a family of a couple of hundred people.

  • Going it alone in Christianity is really hard, you need other christians. But real 1st century style Christianity is wonderful. It is nothing like Catholicism, more like a party. A bunch of people celebrating Christ. Helping each other. No priests or things like that. Just like we see in Acts, an extended family. You really should give some nondenominational church a chance and see if it is what you are looking for. Visit several and find the one right for you.

  • Do you sing, If so what?

  • Yes, we sing a lot. Basically anything the congregation wants to sing. We add new songs all of the time. My church is really into singing. We sing some songs centuries old and some songs that were written days before. We are usually happy:

James 5:13 "... Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise."

Ephesians 5:19 "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord"

Note the "to one another", as it is hard to go it alone.

  • Hillsong?

I went to the hillsong church once, that was amazing!

  • "Hillsong?"

I don't know that one. I am in the US, so I don't know the churches available in Great Britain very well. But I am sure there are some good ones, you just have to look for the one that is right for you. Find one that doesn't have all that Anglican/Catholic bureaucracy and just is a bunch of people trying to follow the New Testament and be like a 1st century church. Usually those are called nondenominational or Bible churches or Churches of Christ, w/singing praying abd Bible study

  • Yeah, theres hillsong National, Hilsong United, Hillsong UK, Hillsong US, Hillsong Iceland... you get the picture :)

Its pretty amazing really good music!
