I wish our school would do Cats! I could only imagine the set oh god we always build our sets so it would take soooo long! I hate working with power tools, haha. It would be worth all the work though!

I've loved Cats since the time a was like 3. After we watched a Broadway performance of it as the cats were exiting they left behind us. I had two braids in that night and as one of the cats was exiting she played with my braids swinging them side to side. when I turned she made an O with her mouth than sashayed down the isle out the exit. I was both terrified and awed.

Where'd you guys rent your costumes?

We didn't rent them. We bought a bunch of solid-colored unitards then used different kinds of paint to make the designs. We also bought wigs which we put designs into and used hairspray to tease. Any extra fur was material that cast members bought and included in their own costumes.

Very interesting! My cousin goes to your school and I did CATS last year at my school, Oak Ridge. The costumes are so different from ours and we have a totally different set! We had an old theater theme... Anyways, when my cousin told me about it, I wanted to see it so bad! I live near the airport so I wasn't able to. Is there any videos on the actual performance? I want to see it!

1) Songs were missing because the whole production is a four hour show. Hardly anyone does the full show

2) Everything is always done BY THE STUDENTS. A live band is better.

1) i know the band is AMAZING, i jus graduated in 2006. The band that played for this production, was HORRIBLE, giving them ONLY a 3 week time frame to practice an ENTIRE musical..

2) i was not the ONLY one in the audience thinkin tha band was badd..

3) i understand that the production was that long..i was jus asking why they were skipped.

4) i said that the production was the only thing that was bad, the make-up, n costumes were amazing

just to back you up here, the National Broadway Tour cuts VERY large portions out, I am not sure if ANYONE is doing the full production!!

OH BTW, the touring company is AWFUL, don't waste your money, seriously I have seen high school performers that were better!
