  • I have both 8" and 10" PST5 splashes. They are really great.

  • Thx. Was a helpful vid.

  • I have the same in my set. It's fantastic. I recommend

  • Just got one today and i love it :)

  • They came in. Wasn't that perfect tamborine sound I was looking for lol. But it sounds rly rly rly good. Just enough volume and decay. I love it :)

  • @broodwar1 You have to keep in mind that is a medium level cymbal. That perfect sound you're looking for, what you are getting in a professional cymbal, costing twice. In my opinion this is the best splash, in his level and price, inside the market. Now enjoy it buddy, and congratulation!

  • For sure! I ordered o e along with a Wuhan 18 inch china. They should be here tmro :D

  • @broodwar1 Fantastic, buddy! very good choice, congratulations!

  • Yep u just made me order the pst lol thanks pal :)

  • @broodwar1 Then go and enjoy it man!

  • Does thissound anything likechris adlers splash. U know that piercing sound like in "laid to rest" it almost sounds like a tamborine lol. If not what cymbals around this price sound similar. Thanks

  • @broodwar1: I think if you are looking for a bright sound, the Pst 5 is a good choice (always talking around this price). If you like a slightly darker sound it would be a Meinl classics splash (It`s a little more expensive). Hope I help you!

  • i hav the 10" size and it's awesome

  • Yep, sounds like a cheap splash to me. I had one like this a long time ago, it may have been the pst, but I can't really tell the difference in quality, both just sound very tinny and poor response. You would be better off with fewer but better cymbals.

  • Cheap splash to you?! haha, you have more money than skills, like you prove in a video. I can accept an opinion but not yours, talker

  • It's a cheap splash dude, get over it. Perhaps, I could have phrased that nicer, sorry if I offended you and your cheap cymbals, we all got to start somewhere. I had a cheap kit with cheap cymbals and then I played a nice kit with better cymbals and there is a big difference in tone and response. Just take it as advice, sell your cheap cymbals and get some nice ones, you'll be glad you did. Just go to a music shop and compare cymbals if you don't believe me. don't get your pantys in a bunch

  • You give me shame, you`re so superficial and talk just because you have mouth. You have no idea, you better dedicate to spend your money buying cymbals, that is the only thing that you know to do. Accept that you`re pathetic!

  • I think his videos are a joke xD look at the new one, he's got K, A, A custom etc. and can play as well as people who have never played in their lives xD

  • @Nochoys Hey check his april drum practice video lol 1st comment

  • Ive seen your videos, get off the drums. You obviously dont know how to play. Ive been playing for like 2 months and have 2 cymbals and im better than you.

  • Oh come on. It sound that bad...

  • @RootsRadish

Price does not reflect on quality.... I could find a stagg cymbal and compare it to a zildjian high end one and i'd probably prefer the stagg.

  • @RootsRadish Lol that was the worst comment ever.

  • @Nochoys I agree with you :P, he has no skills at all

  • Hey dude! thanks. Really, he has no skills and, poor man, he think and talk like he was an expert drummer

  • NP, nice splash you got there btw, gonna get one too this week, just wanted to view a kinda review, i think it really fits my style of playing. It isn't about the price, its about the sound ;).

  • You're totally right man, it's all about the sound that you are looking for. Good luck in your buying!

  • Oh and just saying, you say 'poor man' in the context of luck and shit, but saying 'poor man' to an idiot with A customs is a good way to get misinterprited.

  • @JamesTheWench Saying 'poor man', in my country means: to give pity. Because he is an ignorant and arrogant guy that belives know it all and has no idea what he's talking.

  • Don't listen to him. Paiste PST 5 cymbals are cheap and they sound great. RootsRadish got a VERY unnecessary 18 piece set with an even more unnecessary 5-6 rack toms and he can't even play it. your probably so much better at drums then he'll be in his life...

  • hey paiste 5, 8 splash, or a meinl classics splash 8 too?

  • I think Paiste 5, 8" splash sounds better and is brighter than Meinl Classics, but what I said before, sometimes it's matter of taste!

  • It's a great splash and the price is so low!

  • doesn't decay quick enough for my taste.

  • Maybe, it`s matter of taste, if I could I would go for a Sabian HHX evolution splash 7"! but for the price of mine it`s not a bad cymbal

  • While playing you don't hear the ring ; )

  • What´s the matter with you fuckin retarded?! this channel is for drummers not for dumbers. What are you doing here? Stupid people like you give me shame, son of a bitch

  • i have the 10 inch and it has a ridiculously long sustain. How can I shorten it?

  • You can try sticking insulation tape near to the bell, in the side of below of the splash. Good luck man!

  • thanks

  • Oh damn shit. yours are 8" and mine 10" xD lol

This sound is normal, don't care aboit my first comment LOL.

btw what kind of style do you play?

for me it is black metal..

  • It's all right buddy, I like funk, rock, latin and gospel, also a little of metal. I just said that in black metal is important the powerful sound in your cymbals, thats all. Keep rocking bro!!!

  • Dude i have a 10" paiste pst3 splash and it sound is more powerfull than the pst5.

    stay true bro.

  • Hey dude! Maybe it`s true, but between powerfull and tone and bright, I prefer the second one because my style
