  • 285 seems about right. Considering the mods. You gotta realize, the automatics made like 220 from the factory unless that's a late model 03. At the crank. So your lookin at about 190hp or so at the wheels. I say a non-custom tuner like a bully god givin you almost 100 hp is damn good!

  • @2strokedetroit 100HP is really good with stock injectors too! long live the 7.3 PSD!!!

  • i currently have the exact same excursoin with the same basic upgrades and when ever i put it in reverse it dies. do u have any idea wats going on with it?

  • Have you dynoed her on alternatives such as w85?

  • Dude youve got some serious axle wrap

  • das auto hat style!

  • nice truck! I like big diesels !

    We have a BMW 535d with 306bhp from a 3litre diesel :D !

  • I believe a dyno is required to measure both torque and rpm in order to calculate HP, suggesting you may have been misinformed.

  • ok disregard my last post i see that u have a tuner. and is that dyno open to the public? if so where is it im a MO boy to i want to see what im running. but i know its not as good as yours.

  • @jrcbfun It's in Saint Charles, Missouri. The name of the place is First Capital 4WD, and yes they are open to the public.

  • beast

  • that is crazy my dad got a V10 its not bad but it goes

  • the ford350 kid is not cool

  • cool truck i drive a '08 F 350

  • gotta love the diesel excursion

  • I drive a 94 ford lightning and my brother drives a 95 F-250 turbo diesel. FORD TRUCKS ROCK!!!

  • @HonJazzz Let me get the seats outta that lightning. lol

  • how much did it cost too run it on the dyno we are going to dyno my cussin 99 dodge cummins 24v he has alot dun from a smarty to injetor's and we are dynoing my dads 7.3 the same day and we have a home made intake by my cusin at superior diesels his diesel shop to exsost ts 6 postion tuner great tuner lots of smoke and some other stuff i cant think of each have about $6000 in them best truck's to by dodge 5.9 and 7.3 powerstroke

  • They charged $75.00 for 4 runs.

  • @DanielJaegerFilms thank you have a happy xmas

  • i was wondering how much hp u are pushing

  • Cool truck.

  • Sweet Mercy that things mean.

  • I would love to grab an Excursion. Chop out the middle and bring it's wheelbase and body length down to the size of a Bronco. THEN badge up the thing to say Bronco just to mess with peoples. * I miss my bronco *

  • You eat dick

  • i sense bull S*** unless the idiot didnt strap it down

  • Oh yea they can there are more Fords on the road with factory motors, transmissions, axles, and computers with over 300,000K miles than those POS Gm's you claim are so great. They SUCK they only last a few years at best with linemen that beat the shit out of them than the fords that get beat even worse! There are still 1999 Fords on the lot, the oldest GM turd is a 2004-5. And that has been in numerous times, problably as much as that 1999 on the lot. Learn your facts, before you open that mouth

  • Obvioulsy you are the one pulling shit out of your ass, i am talking about real world expirience. I am talking from helping at the local shop. And we have never had a chevy hold up like a ford

  • if you would of balt a 6.0l 2003 2004 or 2005 you would of had problems by now but good job by getting a newer one

  • i agree the only way somthing can rip off a dyno is by not straping it properly or faulty straps but lets face it a chevy even moving a dyno hahaha they don't have enough power to turn the damn thing i like powerstroke allways have since the first one i had a 99 f250 2wd 7.3l 4 4 years traded for a 07 f350 fx4 with 6.0l now thats a pretty good engine in my opinion to it now has 116,000 miles on it and still takes the crap i put it through its pushin 360hp the 99 had 350,000 trouble free miles

  • Chevy is for cunts

  • Not too bad for a stock engine with just a tuner. 7.3L arent exactly mega power houses like a Cummins or Dmax (thank the HPO system for that), but they make strong power and are dead reliable. They'll go 500+ miles easy and more if well maintained.

  • powerstroke help got his to go over 700k with a ton of mods like meth and propane.

  • Ya I know. I was just being moddest. I have know doubt a properly maintained and driven 7.3L could go 1 million miles plus. In fact ive seen trucks with that many miles still working!!

  • diesel power!!!!!

  • sounds about right since they only put out around 240hp stock ur torque is pretty close with the mods since they only had 525 stock pretty good for diesel but when ur pullin u would swear they put out over 300 cause they tow up them hill and never even flinch like the cummins in the same year we recently traded our old 99f250 7.3l for a 07 f350 with the 6.0l it has banks highram air and banks monster exhaust were pushin 360hp with out a tunner and around 650ft. lbs i wanna try fords 2011 6.7l

  • Wow! I thought it would more then 285 HP

  • Yeah, I thought it would be higher too. The way the truck looks like it wants to jump off the dyno and go made me think it would be more.

  • @RockinGuy1994 Diesels are known for their monster amounts of torque, not horsepower...perfect for towing or doing burnouts..haha..

  • man she sounds incredibly healthy, oh wait shes a ford, hmm

  • sounds great!

  • cool.. wonder if my metro still has its tiny 55hp after 158K miles

  • Man that's awesome!!!!

  • agreed, sounds freakin awesome

  • nice! especially for 200 000 miles

  • Cool!
