He is not even an expert on depleted uranium. He often presents false information related to depleted uranium. On the Internet it is still possible to find his claim of a few years ago that 30 of his "team" died due to exposure to depleted uranium. The army looked into this and found that only one had died not from uranium.

Learn how radiation affects the body. It's impossible for U-238 with a half-life of roughly 2 billion years to cause real, chronic doses in humans in just a few weeks/months of exposure.
