  • Leisure suits rule.

  • Playing backup guitar for Chet Atkins must have been like tracing backgrounds for Michaelangelo

  • Open G tuning. Capo at 2d fret here. No capo on recording. You have to slow it down and listen to and watch the right hand. The right hand fingers are critical to making the accents work and sound right. Then, practice it SLOWLY until the right hand is on auto pilot. Most people end up playing it at 3/4 speed. Chet worked on his tunes over time and got super fast and clean.Even Chet had trouble hitting some of the licks here cleanly, so good luck !

  • Wow.

  • Audience should be hee-hawing, whistling and clapping along for chrissake! They must of made extras from the Stepford Wives..

  • I know a little bit of this but sort of doing it differently cause I'm using my thumb and two fingers. Chet's the best.
