So fucking what if Josh Hamilton was a drug addict and came back into baseball. He is still a fucking racist sexist born-again Christian piece of shit. And Bonds was a drug addict and everyone kissed his ass. Fuck Hamilton. Fuck Texas.
First of all, lets see you go into the majo leagues after being out that long.
You couldn't, and then second of all lets see you get a drug addiction and kick it like he did. Oh you couldn't do that either. Yeah shut the fuck up dumbass.
Instead of calling him a pussy, when he goes up to a ballpark and plays everyday, having that endurance, and that power to last 162 games, why don't you try that? You're probably a retarded fat ass acne ridden 12 year old kid who couldn't make it through the first inning of a little league game if your fucking life depended on it!

So you have shown that you are the type of person who is so lame and pathetic that you have to call someone a "retarded fat ass acne ridden 12 year old" just so you can feel better about yourself. You are a complete loser. Just for the record, I am a 33 year old fit university professor, a master scuba diver, a martial arts expert, and my skin is great with the exception of a small scar the size of a BB. Hamilton is still a pathetic born-again douchebag piece of shit. No wonder you like him!
Does anyone know where I can view the HBO Real Sports story or episode "Back in the Game" about Josh Hamilton. There are several real sports episodes out here, but I can't find that one.
Thanks Josh for never giving up. Unlike many other MLB ballplayers who suffered from inner demons (i.e. Gooden, Strawberry, Rose) he rebounded in such as way that was convincing, sincere, undeniable, and inspiring. I'm proud to wear your jersey around LA no matter what anyone says. Stay determined to do the right thing as a role model and stay around positive people who genuinely care about you Josh Hamilton the person and not just the ballplayer.
I have always like Josh Hamilton ever since he came into the big league. He is a inspiration to many people in this world, I want to thank him for sharing his story to everyone, thanks again and I wish him and his family the best. God bless you and your family always. Thanks again for sharing your amazing story, and My MVP this year in Major League Baseball for 2008 is Josh Hamilton.
i keep tellin' people this dude is a big deal, he did it again today, 3-5 with his 2nd game winning homer of the year. no one in the world is on the same level as him as far as baseball talent..i hated that the reds traded him at 1st..but now i'm glad he's with texas, it is where he's gonna establish himself as one of the elite..josh is the best thing to happen in baseball in a long time with all the controversy lately..and he has as much talent for the game as anyone who ever stepped on a field
MLB should have a Peter Gammons Day every year! If it wasnt for Peter I wouldnt know the game as well as I do. He educates and promotes the game of baseball to all young and old. I have won several fantasy leagues and know at least one thing on every player because of Peter. Never met the man and if I had to pick one person to meet either Gammons or the President, I think it would be Peter. I owe it all the Peter, he is the best!
For a great video on Hamilton go to yahoo home page then click video. Then type in "ham-bone's amazing throw" then click enter. You will see the greatest throw I've ever seen. This guy is going to be good. REAL good. Wish he was a twin.
No I disagree, the trade will be great for both the Texas Rangers and the Cincinatti Reds because Edinson Volquez is a future number one starter with a 95-97 mph fastball and a great changeup and Josh Hamilton will blossom in Texas where he along with the rest of the Rangers will mow down the AL West in years to come.
Sorry, but a truckdriver can throw 97 miles per hour. Volquez has the chance to be a good pitcher, but never in a million years will he be a number one. He has good stuff, but his ceiling is not that high. I've followed the guy since he was a rookie. The Reds did get a good player though.
Volquez is a good pitcher for the Reds - check out of GB/FB tendencies, and he doesn't give up many HR. He can be successful in their ballpark.
Hamilton's the most naturally talented player in the league. I hope he gets 500 ABs so we can see the player he is. He'll put up Teixeira numbers if he's healthy.
Congratulations to the Hammer, great rookie season especially considering how he came back the way he did. If he never had the drug problem he would have been in the league a few years earlier and he'd probably be recognized as the best all around player in the game today..right now he's "only" the most talented all around player. Best outfield arm in the major leagues and he's gonna be hitting 40 +
bombs, .300 + avg, and 100 + rbi for years to come with his talant. God bless you Josh.
I've been a TX Rangers fan my whole life, but now I actually have a reason to root for an NL team... The guy we used to ask for an autograph in our high school is in the BIG TIME! Mad props Josh!
cant wait to see him in are reds lineup i ve been waiting when he does get in i believe he will take off it will be hard to bench him.griffey is injury prone and ryan freel is a wild man out there so something is going to happen sooner or later and josh will get his chance and when he does watch out!!!
when griffey gets hurt, because its almost obvious he will( sad to say) he should do a great job in RF..i want to see him play but i do want Griffey to stay healthy all year
It's great to see people recover from those problems and still be able to chase their dreams. It's too bad other young athletes like Steve Howe, Dwight Gooden, etc. saw their careers shortened or interrupted because of drug-related problems. I wish Josh a nice career in MLB.
true story, two years ago he was playing in a semipro league for the Fuquay-Varina twins and my team the Wilmington Indians played against him. He was clearly rusty but the tools were still there.I spoke with him and he was very humble and up beat. I would love to see him excel it would be a great story.Actually it already is if he is permanelty finished with drugs.
i like how this video is talking about Josh attempting...and now he is the MVP...Josh Hamilton rules...and im an Astros fan
