@lacoste745 Evolution of conciousness.2012 is not the end of the world and the mayans never said it was.Its the begining of a new age for humanity,the age of the 6th sun or something like that.The poles will shift,that is certain.Though it most likely wont be as violent as the movie portrays,thats Hollywod fear mongering and should never be taken as fact.Neither should you believe someone who tells you that it will end.Thats the old way of thinking,dont fall for it.

to all the comments below me with replies to eachother; I think it will end, because we are only 6 months in. and remember ALL the stuff that happened so far; Bin Laden dead, Japan disaster.... And, add up the date of the earthquake in Japan and the date of the Twin Towers explosion= 12/21/12 so... yeah. I believe in 2012. And anything's possible, so yes it is possible for the earth to split in half, etc.

@Jorjeea thnx, but erm u can't use the fact of twin tower disaster with the japan earthquake or bin laden's death to conclude that 2012 "end of the world" is real.. earthquakes are from nature, bin laden and twin tower are examples of human stupidity.. also use scientific facts.

@Brandonsh422 There isn't enough water. Not by a mile, quite literally. All the Water on Earth could currently raise sea level by at most 10 meters. 15 if we're unlucky. 2012 is going to be a year like any other, 'cept that more people than usual are going to go "Game over man, Game over!".

I loved 2012 for it's special effects. Personally, I don't believe in doomsday, but I am in love with natural disasters, especially the Yellowstone Volcano. My jaw dropped during all the disaster scenes.
