  • i simply cannot sleep on my side or back. i'm a stomach sleeper and can't sleep any other way. i know it's bad, but otherwise i don't sleep, and that's worse.

  • "Those aren't pillows!"

  • just sleep with a girl...you can replace the pillow

  • @TheKidCosmic lol have fun waking up with your lower arm totally dead XD

  • @posturedoc Great video doc. Just thought you should know the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) gave humankind guidance concerning how to sleep over 1400 years ago. He slept on his right side, placed his left arm along the side of his body and he placed his right hand, palm facing upward, underneath his head to give him some leverage like that of a pillow. He was an example to us in all matters of life, and told us to sleep like him either on the side or on the back, but never on the stomach.

  • @jigglefloyd Oh who cares about Islam?? Dude, it was 1400 years ago; time to move on. He probably slept on a hard floor which is a little different.

  • Thus, sleeping on the right side is the correct position as the left lung is smaller than the right one and the pressure on the heart would therefore be less which is good for individuals suffering from heart conditions, the liver would not be suspended, and the stomach would be on it and so emptying its contents would be quicker. Moreover sleeping on the right side is one of the best medical interventions to facilitate the excretion of the mucous secretions of the left respiratory bronchioles.:)

  • Thanks for the information and your tips.

  • Thanks for your informative videos.

  • the beginning was creepy

  • it came up on the side :L and it looked funny

  • Thank you Doc! I have serious problems with my cervical neck. The pain after a few minutes in bed is terrible and I cannot have a repairing rest. This happens to me for many years.

I knew the method of the three pillows. Although beginning to sleep comfortably, when turning over me time and time again during the night, I finish entangled with the pillows.

I will try your free course.

I hope to keep in touch with you. Than you again.

  • How did we sleep WITHOUT pillows?

  • @smallbuttfirm that's why people from the past overall had much much lower lifespans then modern humans do.

  • I used to sleep on my side and found it really comfortable, but lately when I've tried it doesn't feel right, like my arm feels squished. It's pretty uncomfortable :\ I dunno if I inadvertantly changed something in this position or what, but I'm just not as comfortable as I used to be. It's annoying. >.>

  • the best position is on the right side of the body.

  • most people have a wife but marring and snuggling a pillow is cool too i guess

  • u can avoid the arm falling asleep by sleeping tilted with a pillow supporting you. that's how I do it, and MAN is it annoying when that happens! I HATE that!

  • Pillows under the legs, laying on back helped me thanks

  • I'm ninteen and i still don't know how to sleep that's mad. But thank for you teaching me:)

  • I sleep like this, but my arm underneath falls asleep -- too much pressure on my shoulder. How can I avoid this?

  • how did i get on this vid looooooooooool oh well why im here I will try sleep like that loooooooool

  • I get out of bed the way you do, but will it affect minor scoliosis?

  • @Mrkbballin24 Should have negligible impact. But if you're concerned, once you get up just lay back down and do it from the other side to give the opposite load to the other side to even yourself out.

  • @Mrkbballin24 i dont believe so because your spine is already bent in that position. so maybe it shouldnt. im not an expert but ive watched plenty of medical shows. u arent really doing anything bad to your back then. that and i have a friend that has scoliosis and she had to get surgery to put 2 metal rods in her back.

  • Very helpful. Thank you!

  • Interesting point about your spine's fragile state in the morning. Good points - thanks.
