it actually is an hd28. it was made in 2005 but i have done quite a bit to enhance the sound of it. i put bone bridge pins in it and had the bridge routed out to accept a long vintage saddle. i think that a long saddle causes a big improvement in the sound.i shaved the braces down a bit my self and that helped too. both the saddle and nut are bone . i did in fact replace the factory tuners with vintage style open back waverly's.and a greven pick guard for looks.i use a tortoise shell pick too.
