  • As a side note...everyone here knows you can just rename MTS or M2TS to MPG to use in apps which support H264 but not those specific file extensions...right?

  • Even in HD it doesn't appear to satisfying, but I honestly blame youtube for that.

Could you possibly upload some 1080 footage to MediaFire or MegaUpload?

This would be highly appreciated as I look to buy this camera come February. :)

  • @RiyuuSan *unedited and left interlaced?*

  • what camera did you shoot this vid with?

    CUZ ITS AWSOME

  • Was debating but this convinced me. I am buying a AG-HMC70!

  • @Gexmeister, I'm sure that you'll love it! It's a great camera, enjoy!

  • @Gexmeister That is exactly why I watched this too. And yes, I'm definitely buying one!

  • @Gexmeister its a great camera, we are currently looking at making a 35mm lens adapter for it. The video quality is great. I have used a HVX200 and its hard to see the difference in image quality. Just know all the function are internal, some people don't like that. As for me it does what its supposed to do.

  • @dainbreadfilms I'm glad you like the HMC70, i heard that the HMC80 is out now but it's got a MOS image sensor...i try to avoid those as much as i can but who knows. maybe they make em better nowadays.

  • Sweet.

    Nails.

  • awsome shots! really want the hmc70!... but cant afford one... yet! haha

  • Good luck on getting it. It's a great camera :D

  • great images quality :)

  • what program do you use to edit with the ag-hsc1u?

  • I edited this video with Sony Vegas 9. I've stopped using sony vegas and work strictly with Final Cut Pro for all my new projects. (Sony vegas is still a good editing program...it's just that FCP squishes it like a bug :P)

  • @DNAPICTURES2009 sooo final cut pro supports avchd?

  • yes. Final cut takes the AVCHD(.mts) files directly off of your SD card. All you have to do is 'Log and Transfer'. I'll post a video tutorial on how to do it. It's really easy and it's a lot faster than using tape.

  • What kind of microphone do you use?

  • There's not much Audio in this vid, but we mostly use our 'Rode NTG-1' or we borrow our school's 'Audio-Technica BP4073.'

  • well put together

  • technology is certainly changing rapidly. although these cameras have a sharp picture i dont like them. comparing them to 35mm, 35mm win hands down. the colours on these new cameras are sharp and vright but they hurt my eyes. its also kinda cartoony. 35mm has a nicer feel to it

  • 35mm cameras are cost somewhere around $150,000(including lenses) our cameras cost around $2,000. You're right, 35mm wins hands down...but I really don't see the point in comparing cameras that are so different in price range.

  • wtf u talkin about, search jag35 its only 200

  • When i say "35mm cameras" I mean something like a Panavision camera. I'm pretty sure that you're talking about a 35mm adapter. Those are cheaper and allow you to be able to put professional lenses on consumer grade cameras. Putting a 35mm adapter on your camera does not make your camera a 35mm camera.

  • just so everyone knows its called "the day the world went away" by nine inch nails

  • This is my edited version of the song. It has more bass.

  • oh and one more thing, what song is this, lots of respect man. keep up all the good work

  • which camera were you using from 1:00 too 1:11? i would like to know asap

  • The shots in the forest were taken on the AG-HMC70 from a moving car.

  • Awesome video! Whats the song?

  • 1:24 reminds me of a movie. I love that part

  • Thanks :D

  • These shots look there from a movie

  • Thanks. A few of these clips are from some short films that we've made.

  • this seems professinal for some reason

  • hey, what camcorder do you use to take the panasonic camcorder???

    Thanks

  • Panasonic AG-HSC1u. Unfortunately it's discontinued.

  • And the AG-HMC70

  • check out Jokos new videos its very funny hes the tall one with the hat.

  • What do you think about the AG-HMC70? I've ordered one.

  • Congratulations! It's an awesome camera. If you have editing questions ask me.

  • How is AVCHD? I've heard some people complaining that real-time editing is difficult.. I have Intel E8400 @ 3,0 GhZ with 2 Gb RAM.

  • Editing AVCHD is difficult if you don't have the right computer. You have to have an Intel cuad-core(or higher). I also suggest 4GB(or higher) of ram.

  • It's an awesome camera.

  • i want the AG-HMC70

  • Awesome! Can't wait for your new show!
