na sry im not for dog fighting and i got an amstaff and a mastiff there both 2 years old + and there always been togethere there like bros but when they fight for realy for a toy or a bone (which doesnt happen often but does) my 70pound amstaff is to quick and to strong for the mastiff ..both my dog are trained to gaurd its just not the same my amstaff is just to strong to low to the ground jumps to high and is way to fast my mastiff cant follow not many other dogs can

@lx9299 that's cause your mastiff doesn't clamp down on the pit full force i was walking my shar pei/dalmation mix and a stray mastiff tried to attack my dog i got in the way and it bit my right hand instantly breaking multiple bones i also broke my knuckles punching the shit out of its head im an MMA fighter and i've never felt more pain in my life i had to get a shit load of stitches and it didn't imidiatly run away if a mastiff clamps down on anything it's gonna hurt it including amstaff's

@Tavarith of all the dogs to bite me, some kinda big black sheep dog mix ended up breaking its chain and charging me and ripping my clothes up until it finally latched onto my thigh, it destroyed the nerve clusters so part of the skin is permanently numb, the owner didnt get in trouble at all, they were only concerned with investigating "pitbull attacks"

hey x good point about inu's,i had a pit once strong dogs.i now own a french mastiff what a power house,very powerful but gentle i tell you.but i also give it to a mastiff called "ca de bou"mallorca mastiff is what they call em today,tosa's are strong but the mallorca are powerful and very pradatory.ive seen one in person,beautiful but too agressive for me.

Not only do the Mastiffs weigh more, but they have also 3 times more bite pressure. The only time a Mastiff would lose against a pit is if he exhausts and collapses or simply just gives up.

Pitbulls are the best fighting dogs at their sizes.... but not THE best fighting dogs, the TOSA INU is the best fighting dog, which is also a Mastiff breed.

Its not wrong talking about dog fighting, i dont support it... but lets face it, they were bred for Bullbaiting / Pit-baiting / Fighting.

pit bulls can be very dangerous if not kept by an Intelligent owner...I agree with you that any dog can be dangerous...but this is especially true about pits...they are stronger and have more powerful jaws then almost any dog..those traits combined with there will power =a dog in need of a strong figure to teach them whats acceptable and whats not...this dog looks very nice probably because the owners aren't idiot but a lot of pit bull owners are ignorant to say the least

one is a american staffordshire terrior (aka pitbull)- full bloded, the other is a full blooded neopolitan mastif that we had just rescued for a shelter- he is about 30-40 lbs under weight-- it amazing how there are so many "experts" out there that will tell you how it is.... jeez

so funny i have a smaller crazier pitbull and a big black mastiff pit mix they play like this all day she the mastiff is a year older and used to really give it to him now their almost 2 and 3 i dont let them play fight cuz they got into it a couple of times she really shook him up but now i think she knows better then to try he's grown up and has grown crazy hahaha
