For the money the Tokai is an extremely good instrument!! Its an easily better instrument than the Epi TB although the Epi model is still Okay. I would say that the Tokai comes close to even the Gibson TB's standards. The Gibson just has that extra touch about it that tops the Tokai though. But If you are wanting a thunderbird the Tokai is a very good choice for one!!!

judging on that comment i take it you dont own any of those 3 i had the epiphone goth and the epiphone thunderbird but i sold them and i went and got myself a Tokai it was cheaper it sounds better and i had a much wider range of colours to choose from ask anyone that knows there shit i swear to you if u actually play one its a real nice sound compared to the epiphone dont know about gibson as i dont have 6 thousand pounds to spend
