From an artistic standpoitn this is a thing of rare beauty. I hope to be able to do this some day :

in terms of meaning I Read 2+2=5 differntly, the notion of 1 v everyone else is kinda pointless, since 2+2=5 is a blatant 1984 refrence, and the entire point of 1984 is that noone escapes, ever. So the idea of one person overarching everone else is kinda contary to the meaning of the song. At least in my view.

I had the same perspective, it almost exactly resembles Winston's mental transformation towards the end after being caught and "conditioned." Especially the very end of obvious questioning, "Maybe not." :)
