Well , I guess all coming to what has been planned since the establishment of the Constitution. "We the People of the United States", people is capitalized for they "the Elite. "do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States", the use of "for" means they ordain this Constitution to the people. Therefore the Presidents oath is for protecting the Elite.
