Comprei uma 94 igual, à 4 meses, dei uma revisão, estou encantado. Para quem só possuia 125 a alguns anos estou satisfeito.Parece que a máquina quer decolar. É bruta.Pena que aqui no DF tem pouquissimas.
@kirkconway CHANGING THE OIL ON A 750 VULCAN TOGETHER WITH THE OIL FILTER YOU MUST PUT 4.2 US qt . WITH OIL CHANGE ONLY IT,S 3.4 US qt OF OIL . THEN HAVE SOMEONE HOLD THE BIKE ON LEVEL GROUND AND CHECK THE GLASS WINDOW . ITS A GOOD PRACTIC TO CLEAN THE WINDOW OF DIRT BECAUSE I ALSO USED TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM . I REALLY LOVE MY 750 . THE ONLY THING I HATE IS THAT THERE IS NO VIDEO TO REPAIR IT. I HATE THE BOOKS , HAYNES AND CLYMER MANUAEL . TOO MUCH TO READ TO FIX SMALL THING . CLYMER/ HAYNES
Is the baffles removed from the stock pipes? Sounds sweet with stock pipes. I am buying a 1995 750 vulcan with under 7,400 miles. Do you have any problems running interstate, or 75 mph? mine is the spitting image of yours. blue with chrome side covers and all. On a scale of 1-10 overall how would you rate it? Thanks so much and GOD bless...
@treyking94 I OWNED A 1997 750 VULCAN IT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY MY BROTHER , ITS AT THE MACHANIC AS WE SPEAK FOR NEW CLUTCH . I REALY LOVE THAT 750 VULCAN , I RIDE IT WINTER AND SUMMER , IN TWO YEAR I HAVE PUT OVER 13,000 MILES ON IT GOING FROM BROOKLYN TO THE VERY END OF MONTAUK . YOU ASKED CAN IT GO 75 MILES AN HOUR , ON THE SUNRISE HIGHWAY I HAVE RODE IT AT 110 MPH NO JOKE . I WAS THINKING OF SELLING , BUT SINCE I HAVE INSTALL TWO NEW TIRES , CLUTCH , AND CIGARETTE LIGHTER , AND A WINDSHIELD
Very nice ride.I had two of those bikes....only thing they really needed was a 6th gear for the highway, RPM's would get up there if you wanted to go over 65.

i Guy,
I changed the oil on the vulcan but i dont know if i put too much oil in it as i cant tell the level in the little window.?
It's all dark, and i think it's above the window.
maybe i put toomuch in there i saw some small oil residue on the outside of the clutch cover, maybe it forced it's way thru the gasket?
I was on it yesterday, and i was trying to get neutral and had to keep popping it down about 4 time's to get to neutral and the light to come on.
9,200 mile's on it is all.

@kirkconway It's on the bottom of the motor. you can use Walmart brand oil filters on them, their made by Mobil as is the Walmart brand oil.

@455Transam Hello ! I'm looking for advice on VN 750s, I would like to buy one.
Any cam chain/tensioner problems ?
Water pump?
I had 4 Viragos and one VN 1500 but no 750.
Any advice will be great.
Thanks.

I had a 1987 and a 1994 model......no problems with either one. VERY low maint bikes. All I did was polish mine and change the oil.
No valve adjustments needed.
Shaft drive.
Dual disc brakes in front and more instrumentation than I ever saw on a cruiser before.
Oh.....it's fast too with the dual overhead cam motor........great bikes I'd buy another one.
