MW2 was extremely overhyped, due to the fact that, taking apart the multiplayer is NOWHERE near Game of the year.

The story was very singular, cliche betrayal, etc. Sure 1 or 2 things were epic, but seriously? The story for me was more or less.

Spec ops was pretty good, but not revolutionary. MW1 won Game of The Year due to its originality, and evolution of the COD franchise.
