  • Have you got any problems with it now?

  • That's a big ass case.

  • how about noise at 100% usage? its loud or no?

  • @manssupar yes it gets loud at 100% cpu load and on the highest fan settings

  • Its not that loud in ur vid in others its very loud I mighy change thw fans either way

  • Im getting a h80 and haf x too ! :DDD

  • Will the H80 fit in a CoolerMaster HAF 932 Advanced case?

  • @xMuRrAyBaTeMaNx of course it will

  • @mainenwo oh good, it's just the 932 comes with 14" bays at the rear, and 12" bays on the top, so would I have to use one of the top bays or would it fit in the rear one?

  • @mainenwo hey mate i have a question for you. I have a H80 installed and only noticed the inner fan is not operating. Is this a fault or does it activate at a certain temp?

  • @mikergeorge the 2 fans run all the time no matter what the temp is, if one of your fans has stopped working you should make sure the fan connectors are firmly connected if they are you may need to replace that fan or return the cooler

  • i got this cooler on my micro atx board lol barley any room and mine came with amd hardware preinstalled on it this is a great cooler i overclocked with it to 5.2 ghz on the fx-4100 quad core

  • great looking build and clean wire management. Im debating on this cooler or the new Phanteks cpu heatsinks, the blue version to go with the asus p8p67 mb that has blue heatsinks. I like the sleeving. Modright? I went with Bitfenix white sleeving for a blue (MB heatsinks and cpu cooler) black, (MB itself) and white (cabling) color coordination in the antec eleven hundred. I think it will look nice. Thanks for the post cause it gave me inspiration and a visual as to how mine will eventually look.

  • AMD SUCKS....that is all.

  • @sm0k32691 why?

  • the Haf X has Rear fan mounting holes for 140 and 120mm fans...the H80 would use the 120mm fans inside the HAFX so it fits with no issue....the H80 only uses 120 mm fans

  • on the website the Haf X case says that it has a 140mm rear fan, the fan for the H80 has a 180mm fan? can you help? i'm having real trouble looking for a case to fit this large fan

  • @prohjecktom H80 has 120mm fan dud not 180mm !!

  • now for the lga 2011 platform thers no need to install a plate so sorry mate but we have it easier ahahah

  • How cool does that get the 1100T, because right now my 1100T gets up to like 70 degrees.

  • DUDE, i could really use your help.

i have a GeForce 8300 mGPU motherboard, will my mother board fit in the haf x case, i also have the H80 fan

please i would love your help!!!

  • @prohjecktom yes that Motherboard should fit inside the HAF X with no issue at all, with your H80

  • @mainenwo thank you so much!! pretty much sold when i get my student loan haha :P

  • @prohjecktom the haf-x supports mATX, ATX, XL-ATX and E-ATX (gigabyte)

  • How big is the cold plate/heatsink ?

  • Hi. I am brand new to all of this. I am getting a build, soon, in a Haf X with the H80, just like you have. My question is actually about your RAM cooler. I never heard of such a thing. I will be using the H80 and just about every other fan that can be squeezed into the case. I am also getting 32GM of Vengeance RAM, so what is your opinion on whether I need a RAM cooler or not? Is it mostly bling? or would it be a good idea to add it to my list of coolers? Thank you.

  • @iienglish hi ..in my humble opinion ram coolers are just mostly bling...as well as all these memory moduals that come with heats sinks and heat spreaders lol even the most powerful gaming pc dosent really need ram coolers simply because RAM dosent give out alot of heat,,,,but they do look nice in a clean case and i guess its better to have one than not to have one but if your on a budget i'd spend the money somewhere else :)

  • @mainenwo

    thank you, for the reply!

  • @mainenwo you need ram cooling when your going up to like 2ghz and are doing some massive rendering other than that you don't

  • hehe ram cooler :)

  • i have the h80 aswell, love it, very quiet at low setting, btw ur ram cooler.. nice bling :)

  • Do you have the radiator fans set as an exhaust or an intake? I'm trying to figure out how it should be

  • @XCrossCountry23 i have mine set to exhaust but there is really no right or wrong answer many people use intake and many use exhaust :)

  • @mainenwo I guess I'll use it as an intake and make the top fans an exhaust because warm air rises and it makes sense to run fresh cool air over the radiator and not the warm air. I don't think it'd really matter because the case is just so roomy haha. Thanks for the reply

  • @mainenwo actually i was wrong lol i do have them set to intake not exhaust

  • how did you install the h80's 120mm fan on the rear when a coolermaster haf x has a 140 mm rear fan, i'm not trolling i was going to get that case and the h80 but was dissapointed when i found out that the coolermaster haf x has a 140mm fan rather than the 120mm fan required for the h80 or h60

  • @TotalWarBonaparte hi, the HAF X case has screw mounts for both 140mm and 120mm at the rear so a H80 fits in fine just remove the stock 140mm that comes with the case and mount H80 fans in the 120mm screw holes

  • Hey man, nice vid got a few questions and would appreciate if you could answer them, I'm thinking of getting H80 and was just wondering is it easy to replace the stock fans with other 120mm ones? And I have never used liquid cooling before and in a lot of review it said "no maintenance required" so pretty much you just install it and that's it? You don't need to do anything such as refilling and stuff?

  • @xHawkLTX hey glad you like the video, Installing new fans is as easy as unscrewing the old stock fans and screwing in new 120mm fans. Now about Maintenance its true you never have to refill or replace the fluid its a closed system so pretty much just plug and play

  • How loud is that ? do you hear much of a difference on low-medium-high??

  • @addecross it all depends on what kind of load your putting on your cpu if your not running a game or heavy application the noise is tolerable

  • @mainenwo How loud is the pump itself (not the fans)? Do you hear a light humming noise coming from it? That's what mines sound like if I listen closely. I'm seeing a lot of H80/H100 noise problems from the pump that people have.

  • Wow, your H80 is rather quiet running on max power. Mine sounds like a jet.

  • @Surveylol It has water already and dont need changing.

  • @mainenwo thanks for the helpful...ness, appreciate it! Now maybe you can help me with one more question I have... I have scoured the internet for an answer, but haven't been able to find the Corsair H80's MTBF (mean time between failure) meaning, the average or mean at which these things last before they go bad.

  • i can see something sitting below you gpu? wat is that

  • @Filo011 If you mean that little blue box with white wires thats my converter box it runs the white Cathode lights in the case

  • Hey maybe you could help me out... I purchased the HAF X and the Corsair H80, and they are on their way. I am wondering about the fan shroud for the 200mm side fan. I think all of the HAF X's have it, so could you tell me if it's removable or if it gave you any kind of a hassle with any of your configuration? Thanks!

  • @IrishCatGod hi...the fan shroud does not get in the way of your H80 but you can remove the shroud if you'd like :)

  • What size wire sleeves did you use? I am about to build a new rig and need to decide on 1/8th or 1/4th.

    Thanks.

  • @michaelrivet981 i'm not using any kinda wire sleeves except the ones that came with certain items in the computer but i didnt buy any and put them on any wires

  • i personally have both fans inside

  • Do you have the one fan on the outside of your case? cause i wanna get that case and i wanna be able to see my expensive components

  • IVe got my h80 an a HAF 912 and was detecting strange air wave sounds, at first I suspected the pump but it turns out the fans make alot of noise because of the way they pull in air. I would strongly suggest using other 120mm fans with this cooler.

  • Did you try to put the radiator outside? Ill tell you what... Its much cooler outside that inside.

  • so I installed the Coolermaster V8 and I removed the backplate/bracket. I want to get this, so that means i have to reinstall the brackets I had on my mobo? Well.. damn. lol

  • Nice picture on that camera

  • How tight of a fit is the RAM cooler fans? I have a smaller board and my video card is almost to long for it and when I pop my memory out the locks actually bump my card. I was looking at this exact fan, but was concerned about on where it mounted on the mobo.

  • is it loud?

  • @ThaiPredator It can get loud when you have it set to the highest fan speed profile and if your computer is at full load

  • Nice PC man

  • does this mount on the rear without modifying it? even though it is a 120mm fan will it fit on the 140mm haf x rear vent?

  • @MrPudding28 the haf x has mounting holes for a 120 mm fand and 140mm fans so no moding is needed the 120mm fan mounting holes are just above the 140mm mounting holes on the rear of the Haf x

  • How is this installed on socket AM3 - i see your mobo has the blue bracket thing + is your mobo an 890GPA-Ud3h?

  • @MagicalFlump I'm using a GA-890FXA-UD5 rev 3.1, motherboard, the Water block from the H80 uses 2 large thumb screws hollowed out at the bottom. it also comes with 2 hook/loops that screw into the bottom of the 2 thumb screws. the hook/loops then easily slide onto the standard AM3/AM3+ locking points on the bracket

  • Whats the RAM cooler?

  • @MagicalFlump its a Kingston Cooling Fan for HyperX PC Memory KHX-FAN

  • Level 10 gt

  • @zudoan HAF X ;-) Got a 10GT here and a HAF. The one in the vid's definiete a HAF X.

  • nice rig

  • tell me please ! did you plug the 3PIN connector to your mother + the 4PIN connector or ???? please tell me cause I dont want to burn my CPU

  • @AXLMEDIACHANNEL i plugged both in the molex and the cpu head 3 pin

  • @AXLMEDIACHANNEL

You must plug the 3 pin into the motherboard otherwise you will constantly receive a "CPU fan failure" message upon post. It also allows you to monitor the pump relay speed via the fan speed monitor option.

  • @AXLMEDIACHANNEL Shut up you whiny bitch...grow a pair.

  • @surfbum5412 hey mother fucka ! shut ur fkng dirty mouth ! i didnt talk to you

  • @AXLMEDIACHANNELSorry, I speak English. What is "fuka" and fkng"?

  • @surfbum5412 you are so idiot ! danm bye stupid gay

  • Could you tell me what your idle and load temps are, load temp under prime95? Another question, do you just clip this thing on like a regular AM3 heatsink or do you have to pull out the motherboard and mess with backing plate etc.. thanks! I have an 1100T and a massive heatsink with 12 heat pipes and at 4ghz its not enough, still hits 72-75C in prime95.

  • The H80 is much smaller than using an air cooler isn't it? So there would be no issues using all 4 ram slots. With the air cooler I have now it overlaps the 1st ram slot and limits me to 8gb and I would like to add another 8gb for video editing.

  • doesnt the HAF X have a Rear 140mm fan?

so how did you install the H80?

  • @joseph7413 your correct...it does come with a 140mm fan however the Haf X also has screw holes for both 140 and 120mm fans

  • Wow, that thing is clean and quiet....nice build.

  • what's your motherboard out of interest? Also, is it easy mounting the h80 in the haf x case; do you just remove the rear fan and screw the h80 in it's place?

  • @MrDrummon The Mobo i'm using is the, Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 rev 3.1.. as for ease of installing the H80 its not hard but it does take some Patience when it comes to Lineing up the screws for the fans and dealing with the stiff non flexable water tubes. The good thing is the HAF X has alot of space for you to work in and yes you just remove that back 140mm fan to install the 2 stock corsair fans and the Rad

  • @mainenwo thanks, also, why do you have a RAM cooler? does the haf case let them get too warm? And what is your RAM cooler? your video has been a lot of help btw, thanks :)

  • @MrDrummon Your very welcome....Ram dosent get that hot anyway in my opinion Ram coolers are just addons to make your case look good so its not needed but i like having it and yes the Haf X provides enough air flow to cool everything :)

  • @mainenwo Do you know if this can fit an NZXT Phantom case?

  • @levimoreno The Phanton can handle a Noctua nh-d14 so it will have no trouble at all fitting a Corsair H80....as a rule of thumb if your computer case has a 120 mm Fan at the back it can accept a Hydro corsair cooler :)

  • Are your top fans exhaust or intake?

  • @xTweetehhBird they are set to exhaust

  • @mainenwo You should change them to Intake, It will give you better static pressure.

  • @xTweetehhBird i heard if you put the fan in intake you lower the temps a few but you draw in more dust is it really worth it?

  • @mainenwo You shouldn't get that much dust. If you clean your computer for dust every month or so your fine.

  • @xTweetehhBird the 2 top 200mm fans are set to exhaust

  • @mainenwo Did you change them to intake, like I suggested before?

  • @xTweetehhBird nah they are still set to exhaust.. The H80, and 2 top 200mm fans are all set to exhaust. the Front 230mm fan and the 200 mm side panel fan are set to intake

  • @mainenwo You should try switching the tops fans to intake and see what happens.

  • About the fanboy comments...I respect Intel's raw power and performance and for AMD I love their cost to performance ratio

  • if you plan on overcloking with that cooler take them 2 fans of the max airflow on that rad will be 92 cfm, if you replace them 2 fans with COOLERMASTER EXCALIBUR fans that are most prob the powerfull fans you will ever find you wil be getting 172cfm a massive increase trust me you wont regret it

  • @christoffe13 Actually the Excalibur Fans are at 85.6 CFM at max with a 3.53 Static Pressure. The stock corsair fans are better than that.

  • @xTweetehhBird you have to work out the sub totall pressure when you say 85.6 cfm thats each so there will be a 171.2 cfm flow that 85.6 push and a 85.6 full the fans on that cooler add up to 92cfm that 41 cfm each lol

  • @xTweetehhBird i mean the standard fans have 46 cfm each lol

  • @christoffe13 On Low, On High they have 92 CFM with 7.7 Static Pressure.

  • lol you sound like an AMD fanboy.

  • @GuMpAkC LOL you sound like a dumb ass intel fanboy.

  • @zZNinjaAssassinZz Actually I have both...but whatever you say sweetheart!

  • @GuMpAkC

    More like an AMD loser
