all factory ratings are flywheel horsepower. dyno measures how much power u put down to the ground and you loose about 10-15% through drivetrain and traction
Nice pulls, especially for a Mustang dyno. Those things are stingy as hell when it comes to HP/TQ #'s
I came across your vid while researching SLP exhaust. I have flowmaster delta 40's welded into the stock cat-back and want something different/louder, Your car sounds awesome.
depends on mileage, year, mods etc. this model was made from 1999-2004. I bought this car in the beginning of 2008 with 25,000 miles on the clock for $16K. I've spent about $3000 on modifications since then, and i'm actually thinking about selling it (trying to upgrade to a cobra). there are 34,000 miles on it now, and i would let it go for about $13K. you can get one cheaper than that, but it won't be with such low miles and in this condition.

Yeah that is for sure more than 228 with those bolt on's. I hate mustang dynos

why is it when mustangs get dynoed and they have some bolt-ons, they're doing around 230-260 hp when its suppose to be 260 hp stock?

was it on dynojet or mustang dyno?
pkarol1 2 years ago
I don't think the Mustang dyno "underestimates" your real numbers....isn't it supposed to be MORE accurate than a Dynojet?
StriderTacticaL 2 years ago
i don't think so but its possible, either way dynojet tends to show higher #s than mustang dyno
