It was back in 1989 when Ladders 1 and 2 first got these rigs. The BFD had just broken in three 1988 Simon-Duplex tillers that were originally assigned to Ladders 11, 14, and 15. Ladder 14's tiller subsequently was reassigned to Ladder 10 in 1990 and after Ladder 1 closed in 1994, that tower went to Ladder 6.
Oh this is nice! This would be my local truck - I've seen it sometimes. Now they have a nice new shiny one, don't they? (My old truck might've been 9 but that got killed.)
