cats do not enjoy being in akward position if that cat was tied to the harness that cat would be jerking around and screaming but he acting calmly as if he was always piggy riding that dog and look at the dog he's happy and relax and that rat was hunging lazily,rat won't act like that if he doesn't felt comfortable.

Not true. The cat has a leash on it just like the dog but it is not tethered to the dog in any way. The dog sort of has a 'saddle' on its back so the cat doesn't slip off.

My thoughts exactly. There is nothing about "affection" here, but rather, animals that were trained to do something that's not natural. Anyone who has owned a dog, cat or rodent would know that they don't like to stay in one place for too long. My guess is that the owner has his hand out for some spare change.

I can attest to these animals being fed well because this guy is a homeless man in Santa Barbara, CA and most of all of the change he gets pretty much goes into feeding the animals and taking them to the vet other than feeding himself.
