Ive never had any trouble with Fi woofers. Ive owned a 12Q 15BL and 15BTL. the 15in this vid is a BL not a BTL, but i just traded it out for a BTL that i just recently re-coned and it slams hella hard. I am definitely a satisfied customer. and btw it had to be re-coned not because of it being blown but it simply was an old tinsel lead design and the leads were ripping the spiders. Fi now manufactures their subs with a new efficient spider/lead design.

after doing experiments, btl 15's sound best with a large 5" plus port tuned to 38hz-40hz and 4^3ft or less. It will still hit low don't worry. Try that with a kerf. 147.6 in a trunk :].

i fixed the box issue, i just need more power now, im only running 1k watts. Also im fkin pissed because i had my truck valet at a hotel and the idiots messed with my system and blew both

40A fuses on my amp, but the distribution block 80A didnt even blow, im soo fucking pissed ignorant fucks messing with my shit, its kinda my fault though i should have taken my fuses out before hand.

So tom im going get new fuses and if my amp is fucked im gonna kill someone.

4 cubic feet is just the manufacturer's recommendations, you can go bigger, its just what they think the speaker will sound best at

...obviously if it came from the manufacturer then they would know best. They specifically do tests on each sub to figure out what the best sealed/ported airspace is required for them to preform at their best.

Your sub sounds muffled and just really bad because the enclosure is way too big...why didnt you just go ahead and build a wall if you are gonna make the box that big?

Rebuild a box around 4 cu. ft. and then see the difference that it makes.

I actaully built the box wrong to begin with,(tuning wise), but i fixed it a few weeks ago. The vent length was too long, my friend helped me make it and hes always in a hurry doing shit, but i cut the right leghth on the vent (dont ask me how) and i really am pleased with it now. i need to make a new video whenever i get the chance. BTW, try not to judge videos by the way they sound on your computer because every camera is different (microphone wise),

Unless you are competing in comps then a daily driver setup should not be a "one note wonder", the best situation would be to have a flat response curve in the 50-100hz area. Which he does not have due to the size of his enclosure.

But whatever, if it sounds good to you then thats all that matters

no dude that is waht the lpf is for on the amp tuning. if you tune lpf to maximum then yull here sound but if you tune it to 0 then you wont. theres also a hpf and lpf switch.

i have problem...i have a ma audio pr1.1000 amp doing 1000 watt rms and i have a sub that does also 1000 watt rms but for some reason when i crank the music up and really start usin the sub the amp will just cut off and the cut back on...i re-checked everything and i even re-did the remote wiring to see if that was the problem...the amp protection light isn't coming on and i dont have my gain up to high or any of that...please help

my amps did something like this....first i guess my head unit just sucked but I rigged the remote wire to the battery with a switch on it and my amps allowed more power to my subs before cutting off. I have now figured out that my subs are running 1 ohm and my amps only handle 2 ohm....that could be another problem

going to my amp they are both 4awg but i have 0awg power wire running to a distribution block because it would be a pain tryin to connect that huge wire to an amp. plus wiring up 0awg as ground would be a pain. i think its fine how i have it.
