Not exactly. I'll ask around and see what I can come up with, I just won't guarantee you I can find what you're looking for. Btw, where exactly in the U.S. do you live?
Well, it depends on where you live my friend. I know 2 groups (one in Canada and 1 in Australia, both practice Eishin-ryu) that belong to our federation (DAI NIPPON IAIDO RENMEI), with very good instructors, that come here every year to compete, take exams, etc., so I could put you in contact with them. If you live in another country, I could ask around and see what can I come up with...
Oh, thank you for your question, I forgot to put that on the video description. Yes, the tournament was (and is) for all schools of all styles in the Kansai area (western japan), but indeed, the images that appear in the clip are from Houki-ryu iaido. Do you practice this style? Cheers, and thanks for your comment...
Hi juanferarias, are you sure that are Houki Ryu katas?
I have been stadying HR for 24 years and I have never seen them before. Furthermore the traditional kata order is not ipponme-nihonme-etc., but Osae-nuki, Kote-giri, Kiri-tsuke, etc.
Sorry for the late reply, I was traveling, but thanks for the comment! I'm afraid my description was a little bit confusing, sorry. Although the demonstrators practice Houki-ryu iaido, they aren't showing any koryus in this clip, but rather touhou kata. For me the real problem with touhou is that it's supposed to be unified, but in reality each school practices they're own "interpretation" of it (at the dojo they called it "uchi no touhou", or "our touhou"), which is kind of disorienting...

Hi juanferarias, thank you for your kind reply.
Please, if you find something about real Hoki Ryu katas (as in Haru Matsuri 2007), don't esitate to post the video. It'll be very interesting. Bye
