  • It was a 78 lacquer record. How could it have ever survived. Think of it you know.

  • It's sad that Lennon's mother was killed 3 days after this was recorded =(

  • Olá!

    Gostei muito.

  • Aaron Johnson in Nowhere Boy sounds almost identical to John.

  • Nice rythm, this must be the 50's, after that, they have the fame that they wanted?

  • Is this the second ever Quarrymen recording?

  • Comment removed

  • are the 2 top coments fucking kidding me ?

  • @dbracketb Yes

  • Comment removed

  • @dbracketb yes, that's the point, it's sarcasm

  • wow, they could actually record amaturely back in the 50's sounds great

  • i wonder if they make it?

  • Poor John...his mother died three days before this recording

  • I think that these guys are good, but are they good enough that 70 years later people are gonna be sitting around still listening to them and still consider them better than the music of that time????

  • Comment removed

  • Survey time, boys and girls. Who is the biggest loser of all time....1) the executive at Decca Records who turned down the Beatles for a contract after their audition...or....2) Uh, Pete Best. (my vote is for the Decca guy...Pete simply was not a very good drummer...no crime there....I suck worse than him on drums. And he can tell his grandchildren that he was a Beatle. I can tell my grandchildren that I once owned a Beatles wig.)

  • Guitar groups are on their way out

  • @The8347135 you're wrong!!! I really hope you're wrong!!

  • @Lmusik00futL people said that in the 50's

  • @The8347135 yeah someone said that to Brian Epstein when he became manager of the beatles.

  • Estos chicos no tendrán futuro, dijo un ignorante.

  • -3 good song boys :) I can't believe people actually used to hear their music like this! I feel so lucky being able to lie around with my iPad and listen to my hearts content. Btw, like if Anthology brought you here :)

  • Does anyone know why there wasn't a studio recording of this? Or is there one I don't know about...?

  • @CrazedPeeling

This is technically as studio recording, as lo-fi as it is. Try looking for "Get Back/Let It Be" era bootlegs. They played a lot of really old stuff at those sessions.

  • @xxkewldudexx d'oh. I meant a more polished recording haha I should have been more specific, but thanks for the info! I'll check that out.

  • lol, The joke everyone is playing has gone cold.

  • It'a hard to believe that they could write this song and not get a recording contract for it. If this song had been cleaned-up a bit, and professionally recorded, it would have been a potential #1 hit. Even in it's raw state, I can't get this song out of my head after listening to it. Amazing.

  • thumbs up if you came here long before nowhere boy

  • Am I the only one that can't help but sing along to George's falsetto? ♥

  • @dstnyisurs A its not falsetto, falsetto is the opening of the vocal cords so you get a very breathy sound, what your reffering to is head voice. B he didnt sing this in head voice because it wouldn't have been that high a note for him so he would have belted it in chest voice.

  • @dstnyisurs i think every1 who likes this song sings that part to their hearts content... especially me!!!

  • they will never become famous!

  • what are you talkıng about they are bıllıonaırse now they are the beatles actually were theır fırst band was the quarrymen

  • @LENNONMCCARTNEY40 It's just a joke :)

  • yes indeed paul and george wrote this, but why did they let john sing it ???

  • @MrMightymitch1 It's a shame I agree, although I think this early on they weren't as flexible as they come to be and John was still very much the frontman of the band- George had only just joined anyway (and is doing the backing) and Paul probably didn't have the confidence yet to lead things.

  • what a talent even at that age

  • At 2:58 they look like a 70's punk band

  • Do you ever notice that these comments always start out okay...and then in comes the NURD with the aggro and stupid comments...Why????

  • Thanks...That was Really Good....Beatles Fan...

  • watched the film the nowhere boy last week fantastic brought back the rock and roll days

  • Vmabeatles Paul and George wrote this song together do ur research.

  • julian looks so much like john when john was young

  • I love this song so much!!♥

  • <3 this song :) just covered it :)

  • Keep up with the practice, boys. Maybe you'll make something of yourselves. Change the name of the band, though. Insects are cool.

  • @jddmr22181

LOL, That comment made my day! xD

  • @jddmr22181 R you sure? LOL!

  • @jddmr22181

Good one! I wish they had rerecorded this at some point...maybe they did, during the "Get Back" sessions? Anyone know where I can get Beatlegs from that era?

  • i love it

  • I think I've heard of the beatles guys but I don't think they ever amounted to too much.

  • In spite of all the danger

In spite of all that may be

    I'll do anything for you

    Anything you want me to

If you'll be true to me

In spite of all the heartache

    That you may cause me

    I'll do anything for you

    Anything you want me to

If you'll be true to me

  • ... They became the biggest band in the world

  • George Harrison Guitar solo Was Amazing

  • The Beatles make good music even when they are not The Beatles! Who's Your favorite Beatle?

  • @Pinmaster070495 George FTW

  • @Pinmaster070495 Who's Your favorite Beatle?

The man himself. . .John Winston Lennon. R.J. Reynolds Tobacco even Named a cigarette after Him! Winston, Winston 100's, Winston lights etc..

  • @Pinmaster070495 my favorite Beatle is Paul but I like all of them:)

  • These guys have a future!!

  • dont appriciate being spoken too like a child, i got the joke in the first place im not retarded @quique420 no you don't. @TheMasterOfLols i'm not 'that' stupid actually sure i made valid points at people who SERIOUSLY say 'mainstream' @zombieoverlord1 I got the joke in the first place, sure its become ridiculous to make a point or say an opinion without being corrected in a smart- ass fashion on the internet.

  • i watched nowhere boy recently and thought wow this is amazing and im really shocked at how right they got the film they even have the same hair and facial features and everything im amazing i actually love this song!

  • this is priceless.

  • that is AWESOME!!

  • saying you liked them because they weren't mainstream makes you sound like a total dick, its just music, if you like it, fucking listen to it; it wasn't made to be liked by a few people then completely ignored soon as another set of people like it too, just shut up and fucking listen to it!

  • @s0phiepowe It was a sarcastic joke dumb ass.

  • @s0phiepowe do you need someone to hold a SARCASM sign for you?

  • @s0phiepowe I didn't know it was possible to be that stupid...

  • Este es el único tema atribuido a Mccartney y Harrison

  • Buen grupo. A estos chiquillos les va a ir muy bien...creo...jajaja
