@aamix2 I agree with "Nothing is keeping you here" and "Foot of the Mountain", then I loved "Shadowside" too, but the rest of the album - to me - was not as good as A-ha's others albums! Plus, I also LOVE "Butterfly, Butterfly (the last hurrah!)" but this wonderful song isn't from "FOTM"!!!!

It takes you in the past mostly with its songs... FOTM is more upbeat and cool..... What I know that aha has always given soomething to the music.. Morten's vocals are tremendous :)

For example, Italian medias forgot how great is this synth band!!! And the resultant is that they will not come in Italy for their Farewell tour!!!!! I blame this behavior in italian medias! So, I was 15 when I went to my first concert. It was A Ha. I have followed them since then and they are my favorite band ever. They were and are very underrated.
nope your not alone lots of pplz like them in the usa. just the music industry doesn't like artists who are original in their songs and don't want artists to go outside of their set parameters. if you notice all new artists are just carbon copies of their past incarnations. morton likes having creative control and doing his own thing...something the studios don't like. they hate creativity and anything that doesn't fit in to their ideology of if it aint broke don't fix it. There are many, many a-ha fans here and we are sick of hearing that they can't get air play over here because they don't have that sameness that everyone expects to hear over here... they won't be a hit over here again because they won't conform to the crap they call music in the States now days. They never received the aknowledgement they deserve due tot the stupid taste of music of the majority of people.
But I'm confident and convinced that FOTM wan't the last album of A-ha and they will continue one day their splendid carreer.
