The developers were pretty smart when making this. Like in the prologue you get a basis of the game and then you play it for real. It makes you go through the same sort of stuff in the prologue when you start so it puts your mind at ease. Then all of sudden thing dont turn out how you expect them and it makes you more scared. I love this game.
