  • OOOOOh!!! Jabb69 is drunk again and calling names!!!!

  • LMAO, do u really think u have a audience here? now listen u insecure twit, name calling is all over ur posts, if u can't bang, don't do it and maybe, just maybe u won't be made a fool of yet again- this is very simple. Got it? good.

  • whats this? a forum for Van Morrison? hes one on my favs. grew up on his music and Bob Dylan. Van played at the hollywood bowl in november on his masterpiece astral weeks live. I saw the concert & MyGod, he was brilliant. Robert Pattinson was there, Kate Moss, Robbie Robertson, Julia Roberts. Im still on a high from that one.

  • deberian escribir comentarios en español,de este extraordinario artista.

  • Thanks I needed that. I lost a good friend tonight. I'll always love Neil. 58/fav. Thanks you made my night. Peace to you and yours. M.O.M.

  • Neil Diamond's was, by far, the worst performance of the night. He just doesn't fit with the rest of the bill. Personally, I wish they would've left this lounge lizard portion on the cutting room floor. Hell, let Van Morrison another song and tell this hack to stay home. When watching the TLW, this is the only one I skip over. Booooooooooooooo!

  • LOL, hey scumbag, were glad you clicked and gave diamond his due. Your right, he is better then morrison who barekly works these days!

  • Van Morrison blows ND away.

  • the midget van is talented- i like him, but he is a cantankerous fool as he got older and barely does shit- diamond still cranks out wiinners and just logged in a two yr bounty of 225 million dollars..diamond is by far a much more talented writer and has countless more hits then old van- but I would say that van as a musician and with that soulful voice has edges there- but you need to lay off ND- his performance here was every bit as good as vans caravan- just different songs

  • hey jabb69 you say Van is a midget you freak --making fun of someones height, bet you are a fat assed couch potato takin orders from your old lady & throwin your weight around on Ytube. LOL

  • LOL, hey listen up JM lover, morrisey was a waste of sperm and a full fledged fruit- and a distant memory- as far as VM goes I live here in the north bay area- he is a well known asshole- one lady I know went up to him and said sheloved his music and he replied "why would I give a F- about you" a GM at a car dealer here said he was the most obnoxious ass he ever meant- and he sold him numerous cars! look at the great songs he had up here- they were taken down by his reps-

  • Who cares if VM is an asshole? Hes a genius musician,..your an ASSHOLE and only a drunk, projecting fool on Ytube calling hard working legends names. Get a Life!

PS: Its Jim Morrison not Morrisey

  • LOL, what a moron- guess what dope, idolatry is bad, one reason I respect diamond is because he isn't a fake, he isn't a self absorbed prick- a tragedy in texas last yr- he donated millions and all proceeds went to the tragedy- I will like van for his music, but the person is a complete scumbag-, did u notice all his old video recordings r down from YT due to his reps- scum, just like u-now get off the stage, your out of place. Morrisey, Morrison- who cares, he is forgettable, just like u.

  • BTW dogface jabb69, VM (& I'm mostly a JM fan) has worked for 50 yrs. but doesn't have to tour for money. Plays all year a few times a month. Hes put out a hell of alot more albums than ND & My man, Jim Morrison was very influence by Van. Sang Gloria with him in 1966 and was friends with him after.

  • the big song...the big concert..the big band

  • neil diamond is great with the band and prooved that he can be respected by all music followers

  • great performance great show

  • nice...this is from "the last waltz"

  • The Diamond is massively underrated.

  • This song makes me think of "Les Miserables" for no good reason other than the anthem and majesty of this tune.

  • this is a great song to listen too while stoned! You just turn it up and the words and sound just dominate, it really is a beautiful song that has a rock anthem feel to it- can you hear the people sing!- it's a newborn afternoon!

  • Hey Jabb69, Just saw Mr. D at Portland Rose Garden - Last concert on 2008 tour. He was his usual crowd pleasing self. What a blast we had. His voice is still strong. But of course didn't sing this song. I don't think he ever has in concert. Did about three from HBD. Great!

  • its a shame he doesn't do this song often- it wouldn't suprise me though if he brings it back out- glad you had fun

  • Neil Diamond+The Band

    =

    AWESOME!!!!!!

  • Love "The Last Waltz," love this song.

"It was more than being holy, but it was less than being free." SHEER POETRY.

  • Amen!!!

  • ...Robbie Robertson produced Diamond's 'Beautiful Noise' album...one of his best.

  • Fucking Epic Singer, Fucking Epic Song.

  • This song is so fucking epic.

  • He is a legend! I LOVE this song, and his performance is superb!

  • I enjoy this song, but you gotta say...his theatrics were out of place with the group of rock musicians that were assembled for The Last Waltz.

  • That's why it's so awesome.

  • yes, he always did it his way

  • What theatrics are you talking about?

  • There were a few favorite songs from this amazing concert, Van Morrison, Emmylou Harris, and Neil Diamond. What a movie !!

  • a FEW ? i think every single performance in that was phenomenal :D

  • Yes. there were many excellent performances! But these were my favorite.

  • I love this movie and to watch this song in particular. Neil posesses such stage presence; and a lady slayer from waaay back.

  • extraordinaria cancion,una voz unica en su estilo,gracias a todos los que suben estos videos,sigan subiendo,se les agradece de todo corazon, saludos desde T A L C A H U A N O, CHILE.

  • LittleGeo, there is nothing, I repeat: NOTHING cooler than being a Neil Diamond fan, you cheap hack closet-wino.

  • ChetSexington, that is not what I meant! I was being ironic here! What I was trying to say is that I guess many rock-critics and egocentric music lovers think they are too cool for Mr Diamond's music. Personally I am a Neil Diamond-fan and I have been since I was 10 years old! (I'm a bit older now.) Sorry for not being clear enough. Must be all that wine you know :)

  • LittleGeo, know this: I will follow you to the ends of the earth to ensure that you never, I repeat, never, go around "Neil Bashing" again.

You know what? We shouldn't be fighting. We should be making sweet love to Neil. If you're a chick, anyways. But then again, Neil Diamond is for fags. Which would, ironically, make me a raging homosexual.

    So either way, it works.

  • Why comparing these two? Dylan is great, Diamond is great, but they're soo different. And yes, I guess it's more cool being a Dylan-fan. But I think Robbie Robertson did a great job producing Beautiful noise. That took a lot of guts. Many people thought he was crazy, but he knew that a good song is a good song. And this song is superb!

  • dylan has better songs i feel, but i do think diamond is under rated big time. prob a better singer than dylan

  • god this is horrible...can't stand his fuckin voice...

  • lol

  • then stay the f-ck away from it dope.

  • well he shouldn't have played a show with bob dylan and neil young....what a douche bag!

  • that doesnt make somebody good

  • huh? try putting a sentence together dude?

  • ALWAYS LOVED THIS SONG AND THIS VIDEO

  • Is he italian?

  • No Snotra. Neil Diamond is Jewish.

  • Rock on Mr. D! Can't wait to see you Oct.12!

  • This is by far my favorite Neil Diamond song and performance. Diamond sings this stirring song with both passion and restraint. Great video, thanks for posting it.

  • LOL thats Neil Diamond.

  • is that neil diamond or jim jones?

  • ha... good call. at least neil had the look first.

  • neil reminds me so much of elvis. he had that same charisma.

  • Neil, has been a bodhisattva walking amongst us and he shall always be. For those who haven't seen him live, you can never really know how large his soul is. I love this man, and I've heard him since I was in my mothers womb. Saw him for the first time this year. I'm 28. He trancends time and age like no other.

  • very cool comment- regardless of sex, aspects of the man appeal to so many people, some the rock side, some the deep ballads, some repect for the time tested greatness-few have it. diamond continues to amaze.

  • Sing it long and sing it loud!!!

  • Oh and how awesome are his clothes? Those sunglasses? He was rockin' the polyester pretty fine back then. I wish video clips like this and others from the 70's (Hot August Night/Greek Concert for one) were available on iTunes. Damn he was sexy.

  • companyof8, check out Neil and Shirley Bassey singing "Play Me' Ohhhhhh....

  • ....is sexy....

  • Great shit right here. Neil Diamond is one of the BEST singer/songwriters ever. See ya at MSG next month. ROCK ON Neil, LOL.

  • Isnt he just sexy, why cant men be like this now. NEIL GOD SAKE I LOVE YOU.

  • I am and sound just like Neil:-)

  • Diamond should be mentioned in the same breath as Dylan and and Springsteen yet he remains chronically under-rated. His songwriting is sublime, his voice better than either of the other two and as a performer he has few peers. It is true he veered too much toward MOR schlock in the 80s and 90s but he is now back to his original form. The critics are WRONG about Neil Diamond. He's f*****g genius AND a pop/rock original. His music will outlive him

  • soo damn 100% true shilo507, Neil is just as bloody good as dylan, Neil SHOULD be in the hall of fame, half those ppl that are, should be kicked out like Madonna.

  • dylan has better songs i feel, but i do think diamond is under rated big time. prob a better singer than dylan

  • I don't even know what that means. Dylan is Dylan, Diamond is Diamond ... and Dylan is not Diamond, and Diamond is not Dylan. I feel much like Wittgenstein when he listened to an entire lecture from Lord Bertrand Russell, dimssing it as having any content with the remark: "Everything you said was a tautology." And there is NO INFORMATION in a tautology.

  • who are you talking to? there is 269 comments here?

  • Shilo507 drawing comparisons between artists, to no avail, for to say one is better than the other is identical to saying they are differnet much like saying the evening star is the morning star when they are both Venus.

  • personally, it is just a subjective comment, some like cherry ice cream some like chocalate. I feel because of where they both came from, that both are legendary songwriters, and both have permeated the rock n roll scene for over 40 yrs, one starting in folk and wrote songs like the answer is blowin in the wind, and like a rolling stone and the other hitting the scene with rock n roll like cherry cherry, solitary man, holly holy etc Both have sold over 100 million records. Subjective man.

  • what you just said is a tautology buddy. lemme tell you somethin...... FUCK YOU.

  • Hey, I would have put it differently if I had known the breadth of your vocabulary. Now is that "fuck" as in your act of defiling yourself, or are you directing that at me with the "you?" Methinks you are a very confused person, SinAutor ... I'd recommend A Tale of Two Cities, but Dickens doesn't have your delicacy in wording. Adieu, SA ... I hope, I hope, I hope.

  • I'm using the parlance of the times, phddddd. And these times call for blunt responses to pretencious imbeciles such as yourself. Your warblings are akin to a struggling chimp that has fallen in to the sea, desperately trying to grab something to stay afloat. You grabbed onto Dickens in relation to a comment relating to Neil Diamond. Well Done to you sir. Now run along...... your desert is getting cold.

  • shilo Your comment is absolutely correct. IMO, the music industry has failed to give due credit to Diamond's remarkable talent. His career has spanned over 4 decades and he is admired by millions. What the fuck do critics know? I never heard an album by one of them! I've seen Diamond in concert dozens of times and will see him 3 times this year. He's generous with his time, he's such fun and his fans are devoted and from every age group. His music makes me happy and that's a gift!

  • I don't think he has a better voice then bruce- but I think he has the most unique voice-especially when he is rockin- hearing him singin "lightning and thund-eeeerrr" was great- holy holly comes to mind-absolutely unique. His arrogance here is unmistakable- humble, but "I got it going" attitude

IF diamond did not go soft after 80, i think his rock legend would be much different today.he and dylan as far as Im concerned were two of the 5 best ever.

  • You are right, I saw Neil last night and he was amazing. He makes most "performers" seem like amateurs. He connects to an audience better than anyone since Elvis. I believe one of the main reasons is that most of his songs are so deeply felt and personal and not about some made up stories.

  • UNA GRAN CANCION, PARA UN GRAN MUSICO

  • 1 word, Amazing. Just think the look Neils got there is back in fashoin, Neil your SEXY. XXXX

  • Neil Diamond in 1976 was huge, Neil wrote songs for a lot of different artists. He is a incredible talent amazing songwriter and it was magic that he performed at the Last Waltz

  • Super stuff. Funnily enough, comments here are mostly very true. However, this is a hell of a performance. How many artists today or in the last twenty years sound completely feeble next to ND?

  • I remember watching this for the first time and thinking "Neil Diamond? what the fuck?" and then I was totally blown away by this performance and I've been a fan ever since.

  • I dont think its a bad song on here. According to a Dylan biog I read, it was only Robbie Robertson that wanted him to play. The backstage atmosphere wasn't that great either. He told Dylan to "beat that" with regards to Dry Your Eyes. Dylan replied with something like, well i'll just go and sit on a stool and say nothin man. Nice

  • dylan wud know, thats all he did until he went electric. Hell, dylan played at a county fair recently in clearlake ca. Sad. At least diamond is true to himself and didn't have to change his name. ND's songwriting was superb, and captured my attention as a kid, his least known songs were very powerful and made u feel as if u were there seeing it and feeling it. Other then springsteen and neil young it is rare to feel that kind of movement in a song- a great example of it is right here.

  • i dont get moved by this what so ever, that quote by bigjacktrinity sums neil diamond up, but i wont say more about that.

but in regards to the random slanderous comment about bob dylan changing his name, what does that have to do with anything? ever heard the argument it was to stop anti-semitic prejudice?

  • thats fine fish, it is ur single opinion- diamond gets a wide range of compliments here from even non diamond fans-if u don't see the gem here it has more to do with pre judgements then objectivity.zimmerman to dylan screams hear me see me- not anti semitic prejudice. He did it to make money and sell records. Very simple. Diamonds name is sweet!

  • opinions, opinions, opinions. maybe one day i'll be a fan. i hope neil diamond thanks god every night he was born with such a simple name

  • it matters nothing that you become a fan,I just find it silly that in this time period of 76 with diamond a bona fide big time star, people struggle with his significantinclusion into the "rock family" Now,if diamond of the last 15 or so yrs where he put out some soft music I would grant you he is not worthy- his music of this time was big time. It was during this time ND broke the grateful deads sellout streak at MSG of 19 consecutive ND did it 21 straight.HIS humble arrogance is great here.

  • dylan changed his name(like many showbiz types tend to do) because of his great admiration of the poet Dylan Thomas

  • Thanks for the note on the dylan name deal- I don't begrudge him for it. Big Bob gets a pass, and I think him and diamond had a lot more in common then not. They were and are arrogant, but supreme wordsmiths and poets. They represent the songwriter like very few can. I get into more of dylan's R&R MUCH LIKE I like diamond's R&R more- but I liked diamonds slow stuff more then dylans folk stuff. His early stuff was powerful.

  • And a very nice baritone at that.

  • CASTON25

Who do you listen to Kid Rock and Cheryl Crow get a life

  • Nothing wrong with them. How about your girlie video?

neil doesn't sing, he just blasts out his words in a baritone.

    Not good!

  • neil diamond's got the best voice of all time

and if you cant tell, it's because your a faget!

  • Hey Caston-To say ND wasn't very good, you would have to completely discount 44 top40 hits, over 40 yrs of sellouts and one of americas most famous songwriters and R&R performers.RR and ND met in71 in woodstock and later were both in So Ca were they were basically neighbors. It was a easy fit to see diamond here,if anything it would have been lacking without him. His song here was more dylanesque then dylans himself. You are way off base-who besides helm, who intro'd ND's song, spoke against him?

  • TEST...havomg problems posting-

  • caston25

    GO FUCK YOURSELF

  • can't come anywhere near to facing the truth can ya, because then you' d have to realize he just ain't that good.

  • caston 25

why don't you make like a queer, and suck a dick!

  • neil diamond stole the show

  • You must be crazy and stupid. never in any review of the live show or the dvd did anyone say neil was good. in fact , they said he didn't belong and seemed nervous. none of the other entertainers wanted him only robbie robertson as he was producing his album and was making money off him.

  • "The Mond" steals the show on the Last Waltz !! Yeah Neil ain't as cool as Bob Dylan or Neil Young and the rest but this is just fab !!!

    New albums brill too.

So come dry your eyes !!!

    The Den

  • The Last Waltz, A Must Watch!!!

  • Great song!

  • Great song!

  • me and my buddies listen and watch the last waltz at every house party we have. whether its at a buddies house at a different college, or at our home town or ipods we always have on the last waltz. it's funny because everyone who knows us just expect it to come on at some point in the drunken evening!!!! and when new comers watch they don't get it at first but when we all start singing and getting weird with it they understand. what an amzing movie and artists!!!! peace

  • Jesus you too? Anytime I have people over my girl pretty much explains that late in the evening, after plenty of drinks, The Last Waltz will make an appearence. Like you said, they don't get it at first but by the next time I see these people they have bought the DVD. I know it's pretty well known that Dylan and Levon Helm didn't particularly care for Diamonds inclusion in the show, but dammit if I don't want this playing when I die.

  • I live in Europe, It's very few time I know Elvis, I was young when he died - on august, I ear Elvis, I bought 200 hundreds songs, on december I saw -the last waltz- and I like a lot Diamond

  • SIMPLY THE BEST

  • the words are poors but the voice is wonderful - all the movie is wonderful because Martin Scorse is very talented - If you are 20 or 50 or more it's different - for 50 or more, there was youngs personnes making a new word or music with some clothes and flowers - what do this singers think now

  • streuth, this is brilliant.

  • I like this cool versjon of Neil. Not all this dearing-the-girls-look. This is out with the boys, and it must be like that also, from time to time, Neil!

  • Just being facetious. I knew what you meant.

  • hey cryin- i sent a response to u from my inbox- u got me blocked! LOL. I viewed the link u sent and yes it was a great song!

  • Nothing personal.

  • Mr. Diamond is great! He writes almost all of his songs. Elvis? Never wrote a one. In fact, Neil did not want to sing, he just wanted to compose. But the only way he could get his music heard was to perform it. I wan't this song played at my funeral. =Stefan=

  • What a waste! If only he had stayed with rock he would have been up there with Elvis.

  • in many ways I agree with u man. I didn't like that stuff he put out post 80. His voice with rock music backing him I thought was the way he should go- He was and is a great songwriter, and those early songs were all rock n roll- if u amplify that sound like it is here, he would have been right at the very top of rock legends IMO. As it stand, he has about a 14 yr span of just damnnear unparralled hits and rock n roll to his credit.

  • Don't you mean down there with Elvis? I think Neil ever wanted to get locked into any one expression of his music. He wanted to try new things. Rock is not the be all of music. If Elvis had lived past his 40s as Neil has I'm sure you would have seen some changes. Just my opinion.

  • hi cryn, yeah neil has said many of times over the yrs, he always wants to do different things involving music and his songs he writes, different styles and changes, i love all neils music 60's- to now. elvis would of went thru change's too if he had of lived to this day.

  • hey cryin-I think the deal is,diamonds music in this era was real pure music,so well written and very unique.I think in his 40's and 50's he went a different route, the songs did not have that feel, neil put down the guitar and it was a different diamond from my POV,rick rubin spoke of this "when neil plays guitar the sound is different" When i was a kid- ND was right there in our family with dylan, the beattles and zeppelin in the album cases- we all loved the guy-At some point his music changed.

  • I'm sure you are right about the music changing. But at that point his voice and beautiful way of expressing his feelings stayed with me. I have liked all of his music through the years and I feel like I have grown to understand him as a man who has self doubts, fears, and inconsistencies just like the rest of us. His music has made a difference in my life, whatever path he took.

  • of course, and it's not a put down either. I say it often, greatness to me is time- over time-40 yrs now, diamond is still out there, and his music still stands the test of time. I will say this, elvis never got to me like diamond did. Slower songs with the beauty of play me and lady magdelene r priceless and poetic.

  • What I meant with 'up there with Elvis' was that this track 'Dry Your Eyes' is powerfully sung with a great backing band. Later he became more 'middle of the road' with flowery backing. I wish he had done more rock tracks whilst he was young. (I was referring to young Elvis not the bloated balladeer of later life).

  • Agreed jag- I would have luved to see him play holy holly after dry your eyes here. He would have rocked the house with these two songs and the band backing him.

  • Don't insult Elvis. He may not have written his songs, but he was the greatest performer ever.He broke down the door to Rock'n'Roll, broke attendance records everywhere he went and could sing any type of music he wanted to.Check out Suspicious Minds from 1970 or If I Can Dream from '68 Comeback Special.

  • There were two Elvis's. The brilliant young rock and roller who changed music and the sad drugged crooner of later years. When Elvis sand My Way we all knew the rock star was gone.

  • ....this makes a poet out of this precious one...like it or not...poets live forever....hugs for the post....

  • Diamonds are for ever!!.

  • this song gives me goosebumps , FROM HEAD TO TOE , FANTASTIC , MAKES YOU FEEL SO GOOD .THANKS FOR BEING SUCH A GREAT SONGWRITER NEIL .

  • When I go, I want this song played. But, I am not going, I am going to be the first chief engineer of the "Starship Enterprise". I WILL be there. =Stefan=

  • Robbie produced Neil Diamonds "Beautiful Noise" album...which is where the relationship started...

  • It's my favorite song off that album....

  • I've always liked this song a lot, one of Neil's most underrated songs.

  • Dabluz1125- actually, diamond met robertson in 70-71 at woodstock where the band was living. Not far from the bands big pink days. Thats where it started, then both diamond and the band moved to the west coast and LA where the band set up at shrang ra la sp- Diamond by 76 was hangin out with the band and yes then cutting beautiful niose at the bands digs. You can also hear garth hudson on diamonds album. His relationship was and is damn good with robertson.

  • Good, thanks for the clarification

  • No problem. BTW, I stole 10th Ave Freezout from ur page!Gotta luv bruce. Music just isn't like those days, the boss, nyoung, dylan, morrison, and yes the ndiamond of that era were special. I always said this song here, was to me the real Dylan like song of the concert.

  • FYI: Levon Helms says in his book about THE LAST WALTZ in the year 1976 and I quote "When I heard that Neil Diamond was going to play, I asked, What the hell does Neil Diamond have to do with us?""Robertson just produced his next album, I was told." If ND was hanging out with the Band why didn't Levon want him? It was only Robbie who wanted Diamond because of profit he was making off him.

  • well fine for levon, but then why was he in the interview with scorcese with robbie setting up how they visited" New York and getting their ass kicked, then getting up again-if helm was so against diamond, he wouldn't be propping up his intro in essence-what is true is what I said, they met in woodstock and it went from there. The deal is about the songwriters that diamond represented, and this song kicked ass in the film

  • Levon says after WTH does ND have to do with us?: " BUT WHAT DOES HE REPRESESENT TO THE BAND?"answer: Well, Neil is likeTin Pan Alley...songwriters like Doc Pomus...

"Why don't we just get Doc Pomus?" Levon says he suggested.

Levon prevented Muddy Waters from being dropped because of time limits. Robbie wanted to drop him....

  • LOL, well he was there and so was the Band- duh, look diamond wrote hits left and right and himself wrote and perormed over 40 top 40 hits-mostly done from 66 to 80, only a dolt cannot see the obvious reference here- and diamonds song is as every bit dylanesque as ol bob himself.

  • then you're calling Levon Helm a dolt-not me. I was only quoting him. course you don't believe in reading, I'm sure. just spouting off your worthless biased opinions.

    THIS SONG IS DYLANESQUE????

ONLY IN THE DREAMS OF THE DELUDED!

  • well then sure, helm is a dolt- only a moron can't see his impact in this period as well as the connnection to woodstock where both met. Hell, maybe levon is upset diamond brought his own drummer to the even too amplify helms sound here in this song- doesn't matter, I like levon, but he has done shit since 76. As far as dylan, u bet son, diamonds performance was sung "for the people" with war and assasination of Kennedy, MLK and social change at the basis for the awesome song here.

  • Levon helm has been nominated for a grammy award for his recent album Dirt Farmer. he appeared in movies for years and only recently has been able to sing again after recovering from throat cancer. Levon is a R&R hall of famer also and as far as I know Diamond is the only one present in the last waltz that never got into the hall of fame. LOL

  • He is a great guy, I am not gonna trash him like u feel the need to trash daimond little 1. I am aware of levon, but, as far as Im concerned he hasn't done much since then, and I am fair, diamond since 1980 hasn't done much either, except 12 songs with rick rubin recently which was awesome, he has done little. Now go brush ur teeth will ya.

  • scbounn-

You're kidding right? Where is Diaond today (ahh the 2nd of solo artists in terms of records sold) and this jackass Levon Helms who is a noname? Please... wave to a clue from shore pal. BTW- Diamond is one of the brill building origonal songwriters you dope!

  • VERY MUCH agreed GoblinGirl. Very much underrated. My favorite song from The Beautiful Noise CD. What a stirring song!!!

  • It's a beautiful song, one that Neil co-wrote with Robbie. Really stirring and kind of inspiring.

  • Neil rocks, The Band rocks, this was such a beautiful film! Love it. Thanks for posting.

  • Diamond is the DOGS!!.

  • This was one of the better performances in the last waltz. The whole concert was great but this performance and Van Morrisons perfomance were my two favorites.

  • Lots of emotion in this song!!! It's either this or Holly Holy

  • it's great danny, check out diamond on here singin lordy live at the troubadour-done in 1970-Long and hard rockin ND.

But yes, nd here is actually singin the true dylan type song here! his 72 holly holy is on point as well, as u pointed out.

  • It's awesome! This song is great...Neil Diamond is a classic...Hear "Be"...what memories.

  • The Last Waltz. watch it. it is awesome!

  • The greatest concert movie ever made.

  • Absolutely THE definitive version of this song. I'll forgive those of you who question Niel Diamond's presence at this concert, because you're probably too young - or too unaware - to know what you're talking about. Don't believe everything you read - the people who were in this concert were all friends, otherwise they wouldn't be there. And congrats to andbecause, your summation is right on!
