good job! as you progress and get more work you will add more diversity wich is the only real lacking thing. and some of the final polish will improve but your 95% there! and way ahead of most! keep it up! I was suprised that the crew shot the astranouts without flying wire when they obviously had flying wire crew for other shots, seems like it could have been more dynamic, but its still really good and clean. obviosly not sourced HDV, im sure that made the compositing more enjoyable!
Thanks! I don't think they actually had any wire work, it just looks like that, they had a big green pole that they would sit on and such. Also, yes working with film is fun. It actually doesn't key as well as you would expect though I have noticed.. GRAIN GRAIN GRAIN
yeah I know, trade one set of compression problems for a whole new set of grain deviation problems! kinda funny isnt it how so many people are still complaining about compositing in HDV when I am convinced that good and pro shot HDV composite work will hold up better than george lucases original optically printed composite work in star wars! but hell, now audiences are expecting less than we routinely provide!
Yeah, HDV can work not TOO bad with compositing, might be much harder to get edge detail in a key, but a little elbow grease gets the job done i guess lol. Def better results then in the older SW films like you mention
are this pornographics movies?

Interesting stuff, thanks for sharing!
Could you tell me what software you use for keying and compositing?
minclLess 2 years ago
@minclLess I used After Effects as my compositing software, and 3DS Max for my 3D work. I sometimes use Nuke now though.
