I have watched this movie maybe 20 times now-never get tired of it. Brilliant. But I didn't realise just how important Roy Budd;s score was...until now. This guy was a genius. His music captures the menace of the movie....the feel of the late 60s/early 70s...the grittiness of Newcastle Upon Tyne in those days. What a shame he died so young.
