  • comie bastards

  • This sounds like the life of every being in a world after a 2nd Obama term, after socialism sets into the American way of life; post apocalyptic. When he says "I have not stopped crying since you've been gone", imaging the world without the Holy Spirit of God.

  • What's the reason for this song? So Bill Ward can take a few minutes off to refresh, coyke uyp?

  • Loneliness sucks...but thats what im feeling right now and this song describes it best..

  • @Gilmour3 sometimes loneliness is such bliss, all by oneself with a guitar

  • Crying and thinking is all that I do,memories I have remind me of you

Ağlamak ve düşünmek tek yaptığım şey,anılar bana seni hatırlatıyor....:(

  • easy the most emotional song ever written

  • fuck the 7 ppl tht dont like this song

  • I'm originally a Pink Floyd fan, and I somehow ended up on Paranoid because I watched Dazed and Confused one day. Ever since then, I am yet to find a song I don't like by Sabbath. And believe me, I've clicked on so many different songs that I love.

  • @qain89..very well said.

  • i dont mind being alone but i do want to have some fun but yeah no one exept my closes friends hang out with me or even talk to me to them i am scum but i coul care less i dont care for money i ont care abiut whose dating who when im alone all i think about are intellectual thoughts about government, my military history studies, andd stuff like that i find that if i am alone i get more research done

  • I hope This channel doesn't get banned like rakymaky's channel

  • @ThePyroHobo WTF?! Rakymaky's channel got banned? THE FUCKERS

  • @MrTURBOJOHN OOOHHH NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

  • When I say "I'm alone" it's not beacuse I want people to be with me, but because I don't give a fuck about people. I like my loneliness, I like the freedom that comes with it, but sometimes, I just wish to share it...

  • @Qain89 My next Facebook status

  • @Qain89 Sir, what is your name? If I am to use this quote, I want to give you the proper credit.

  • @Qain89 I love being internal, and alone too.

  • i frst heard this song like 5 years ago. Blown away by the soulfulness of a hardrock band. doesnt even sound like ozzy, some sort of alter ego....maybe hes sober haha

  • who is singing?Ozzy? doesn't sound like him

  • @TWEEKXXROCK Yes it's Ozzy and it bloody well does sound like him!!

  • @gunslinga19 hahahaha

  • I like to hum this whilst I am on the crapper

  • The lyrics are so incredibly honest and truthful. I feel that it is those words that make this song meaningful. Its like listening to early King Crimson songs (Court of the Crimson King; Red - the song Starless; Islands era). Its the meaning behind the melodies that make the song so touching. I forgot how awesome this song was. Ozzy (and Black Sabbath as a band) did an amazing recording!

  • Such a great under appreciated song.

  • Fits well now when they cancelled the tour.

  • Wow, Ozzy, just wow.

  • hahaha he said aspergers

  • MyName it means nothing my fortune is less My future is shrouded in dark wilderness Sunshine is far away, clouds linger on Everything I posessed - Now they are gone OhWhere can I go to and what can I do? Nothing can please me only thoughts are of you You just laughed when I begged you to stay I've not stopped crying since you went away The world is a lonely place - you're on your own Guess I will go home sit down and moan. Crying and thinking is all that I do Memories I have remind me of you
  • "my name it means nothing, my fortune is less. My future is shrouded in dark wilderness...." sounds like the lyrics of OUR times nowadays!!

  • Lembra skyrim...

  • I love this song

  • ..."Solitude", is much longer in comparison and features Ozzy Osbourne's soft, woeful vocals. It is largely believed by many fans that Bill Ward sang on "Solitude", as the song's vocals greatly differ from Osbourne's "signature" vocals; however, this is a myth. Ward did not perform vocals for any Black Sabbath song until the band's seventh album, Technical Ecstasy, on the track "It's Alright"...

  • @lcspies at least give wikipedia a reference if you're going to cut and paste their content.

  • No way is that Ozzy...sounds like a hippie though!

  • The soundtrack to my youth

  • Pais do Doom Metal coisa mais linda

  • the bass in this video is so loud

    thumbs up

  • Umetnost!

  • you the fuck dislike this man? fuckkk!

  • Best song on tthe album and only one I remember from when it came out.

  • Reminds me of Skyrim in so many ways. Absolutely masterful.

  • @Streetwalkeriain ...well that was random

  • @BakiNBG not so much actually, i could totally see wandering the forests and swamps around SOLITUDE one of the games largest cities with this song playing in the background

  • When the flute section starts, you're like OMG WOW

  • I looked it up on Wikipedia, and it says this aint Bill Singing, but I still think it is... this is NOT Ozzy's voice. There is no fucking way in hell lol.

  • @GTAfan421 I may be wrong, but to my knowledge this is Ozzy's voice. He was suffering from cold while recording this.

  • @GTAfan421 It's Ozzy.

  • This is the new plant you land on after the Planet Caravan journey.

  • fuckin awesome great guitar intro men¡¡¡¡thats what i´m talking about=

  • Thats Bill singing right?

  • @GuzNation think so bro¡¡

  • R.I.P victor earl ralston from santa rosa cali and pasco wa

  • this isn't a heavy metal/rock track by no means but it just shows what brilliant songs are created by heavy metal/rock bands, but the majority of so called music lovers will never hear, but do we care !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 7 people eat shit

  • beautiful song,

  • 7 people are dumb

  • Now I'm fukin hooked again Where is that women

  • gotta love sabbaths slow pieces like this one

  • prayers are with 12 secretface

  • I bet this song is good to listen to when your high.

  • goddamn its ozzy

  • Tony doesnt have cancer... cancer has Tony

    Best wishes

  • Oh where can I go to and what can I do.......?

  • @7Saburo Nothing can please me only thoughts are of you...

  • This song reminds me of myself. I do not know if this relates to the song, but I am a very lonely person because I do not have many friends, but that is the least of my problems. I am too nervous to confront my friends. I barely speak to them and I am afraid I will live and die alone for the rest of my life. And the cause of all this is my goddamn Aspergers. :'(

  • I don't know what u feel Secret Face but your face is not a secret...not for you. I have got someone with Asperger's in my life and believe me...you are so lucky! You probably don't need anyone...he doesn't... not me at least...

  • @12SecretFace i am sorry to hear about your problems...i hope things improve for you very soon

  • @12SecretFace Sorry to hear that buddy hope things get better for yourself i kinda have a same issue, i like to isolate myself more for self reflection

  • @12SecretFace You....are not alone!

  • @12SecretFace i know how you feel i have aspergers also :D seclusion takes getting used to but in the end benefits since this whole world and the majority of people in it are mindless consumerist sheep bent on self perservation and greed. long live sabbath

  • @agentofoblivionx another1 here ha this is turning into an aspergers meeting club true what ya all saying though im abit of a recluse most people arnt worth the time and effort to communicate with thats our problem we aint got time for morons haa rock on sabbath and the aspergers crew :D

  • @12SecretFace

    sounds like my storyline

but only difference is that i dont have any any comunications with anybody at all

the only comunication i have are these coments on youtube

  • @12SecretFace Don't worry man, I have it too, and a lot of people are the same way. I spend every moment of every day completely alone in an apartment. I go to class, no one sits by me, no one talks to me. Then I go home and sit here alone. My friends back home don't want to hang out with me as much as before because of how I act when I'm finally around people now. Just saying, I understand.

  • @JefferstChmilst i'm exactly the same except i live with my mother. she is the only person i talk for most days

  • @barneeey Sabbath fans unite, bro.

  • @12SecretFace with so many things to do how can anyone feel lonley in the socail technological era. play xbox live or League of legends. Ive met some really realy interesting people online who open up to me like im there best frined cause theres no awkwardness of ever getting too close. anything is possible in todays world

  • @trickykid3000 Loneliness it's not about not being with somebody, but unable to feel related to others, those people you met don't give a fuck if you die, or if you marry... just people you know... people needs for somebody to love, to share fears, to go and feel supported by others, somebody who cares about them.

  • @Qain89 true but thats what i mean about the online thing. people seem way more willing to open up without much prodding. ive met some people online that have it way worse then me and it makes me feel way better. in league of legends they can come from india, iran, etc... and they have life way worse then us here in north america. It is really uplifting...for the cares about part, im a guy and i dont really need that stuff, in fact im kind of tired of it.

  • @trickykid3000 lol you are speaking like everyone here is from north america xD

  • @John

    lol..fair enough..thanks!!!

  • I believe Ward is singing I could be wrong though..its certainly not Tony... :)

  • @Chris1313

    It's ozzy :)

  • MY FAVEORITE SONG BY THEM!!!

  • Was it geezer Butler who sang this?

  • @michaelHda It must be bill, only Bill Sang besides ozzy.

  • Sometimes, someone or something makes us feeling that way because life is rude and cruel.

  • all these idiots think tony is in big trouble,WAKE UP IDIOTS lymphoma IS THE MOST CUREABLE CANCER IN THE WORLD, AND HE IS FREAKIN LOADED. thumbs up if everyone should stop posting comments about this and just enjoy the music

  • @soadacan1234556 Cancer is cancer no one gives a shit how easy it is to cure. And when a legend like Tony Iommi gets cancer there is a reason to worry. Ya cant see into the future man. So its that much more tragic.

  • @Dustin543432321 And so we fill our hearts and mind with love hoping that in some small way it helps.........thanx Tony proudly and artfully done....period. May you find bliss....

    1 day.

  • I love this song but I hate this feeling which they describe in it.. Emptiness, being lost.

  • Fucking beautiful...

  • After years of waiting, not only I find out that the Sabath are having a reunion, but also I find out that they are having gig in Belgrade, only few hours of train ride from where I live. Me and my dudes were out of our minds only to find out that Mr.Iommi was diagnosed with cancer... fuck this world!!!

Best wishes to grandfather, father and godfather of metal, and with some luck many more gigs including the one in Belgrade. I don't wanna regret for not seeing Sabbath live.

    Sabbath!!!

  • @ProstateMachiatto Usce Park O.o

  • @CmdkyL

Ne znam di točno, nisam bio u Bg-u, ipak sam ja Hrvat-katolik, ha ha.

Sam oda da ne rikne, svijeće palim po svim crkvama.

  • get well my brother

  • For the top commenters - Tony Iommi hasn't been diagnosed with lymphoma. Tony Iommi doesn't have cancer. Cancer has Tony Iommi.

  • @FlitkoSLO unnecessary...

  • @FlitkoSLO what is that supposed to mean?

  • R.I.P Casey Crosby.

  • This is Ozzy. Clearly.

  • Ozzy's vocals, Bill sang on "It's Alright" (1976 - Technical Ecstasy) and "Swinging The Chain" (1978 - Never Say Die!)

  • Guys, have you heard about different singing techniques? :D It's DEFINITELY OZZY'S CLEAN VOICE! I COULD BET ON CUTTING MY NECK :D

  • WHO'S SINGING THEES VOCALS?

  • @MrMcscrooge1 Ozzy Osbourne, Dude :)

  • @MrMcscrooge1 it's Bill Ward

  • @MrMcscrooge1 Think it's Geezer.

  • at 18 i left my home town of warwick , ri on a grayhound bus for the great LA. halfway out of town, this song came on my walkman 1983. Hearing Ozzy's words made tears come to my eyes as i knew i would never come back. the words were prophetic. "all the things i possess now they are gone..." I had a HS diploma and 2 days of clothes. i left behind my family and have been back 3 times-85, 86 and 10 for my mother's funeral. I'm dealing with that. But, still Ozzy rings in my head. great song! T

  • @tdhayes1 Did you go to Pilgrim High School? If I did the math right 1983 you were 18. born in 1965? My father was born in 1964 in Warwick RI

  • @rayg6 Hey Ray! I went to Vets.

    T

  • dont forget Heaven And Hell that is a great album too

  • @IvoTheSlayer and if you can see in my opinion black sabbath totally changes in every album, personally black sabbath, paranoid and heaven and hell are some of the bests of they all carreer

  • @IvoTheSlayer My personal favs are Vol.4,Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Sabotage but thats the beauty of music.Theres something different in every song that grabs and or connects to all of us in a certain way.\m/

  • @IvoTheSlayer but is Heven and Hell,no Black Sabbath

  • @IvoTheSlayer Heaven and hell and master of reality are my favorite sabbath albums

  • Dude its ozzy sinigin I could tell this song is really mellow n slow u can tell its him

  • Goosebumps!! :*(

  • Version von Cathedral ist besser

  • My future is shrouded in dark wilderness

  • This whole album is truly Sabbaths best as I remember the first time i got stoned with my cousin. He played this album,I could have sworn to hear the grass grow for my very first high,When Ozzy departed I was really taken abak. The Blizzard of Oz is great,But it was never the same.At least we got at least 9 of the original Sabbath albums.Truly the epic of solid fukin rock with no fag tunes in between. The originators of Heavy Metal,Priest and Maiden are their as well.Sabbath anyday number 1 agreed

  • @PETESEYESBLUE And Rainbow!! :3

  • @IvoTheSlayer Absolutely Dio should have stayed with Rainbow as Ozzy should have remained with the originals. No doubt these tunes are etched in the minds of those who will never be swayed bye some of the serious death metal to which i have no fukin time for at all.And yes it's ozzy singin. One more album that burns my brain is Sabotage with the oz wearing red nylons looking as if he has a master plan.Funny how we love those hard knock rock yet this tune humbles us hmmmmmm

  • @PETESEYESBLUE Couldn't agree more with your statement on death metal...limited musicianship with Cookie Monster on vocals is what I call it..disagree with you on Ozzy staying with the Originals. I was 13 in '78, Sabbath was my #1 band , but thier last two albums were disappointing,,thier management was fucking them out of millions, un-ending dope binges, gettin' smoked by thier opening band every night. Something had to give.Ozzy discovers Randy, nuff said. BTW, thats Bill wearin red nylons.

  • @chrissick65 your right i have the vinyl and should have looked first it is comical how cool it was back then kid u knot my hair was just as long as the oz but times change but the memories remain with us u yhink

  • @PETESEYESBLUE Son, get your facts straight,The first 6 Sabbath albums were as good as it gets. Technical Ecstacy & Never Say Die were weak. Where are you gettin 9 original Sabbath albums? After Sabatage it was never the same..but fag tunes? Don't even go there! I love Iron Maiden..saw them open for Priest with Paul DiAnno on vocals. Sabbath & Priest originated Metal, Maiden were over a decade later, great but not originators.

  • @chrissick65 Son not much older than u im a 64 baby and my life with Sabbath,Priest are undying as for tech ecst never say die there are only three songs on both albums i like I agree with u on the metal facts MastersOf Reality is the best album i first heard in 74.With Maiden there inception in 80 was the new metal, i agree whole hearted on the originators of solid rock and even had arguements with Mettalica heads They are way to commercial and prefer the three over Mettalica

  • wow..

  • Kinda makes me wish I still had some "sweet leaf" to help revive the memories of all those years ago.

  • @F111C4EVER not hard to find

    no one likes a quitter

  • @2pacthugzta [FAIL]

  • @2pacthugzta Troll detected

  • @2pacthugzta TROLLLL

  • With all the great guitar players out there if I could only listen to one for the rest of my life it would probably be Tony Iommi. Thanks for posting.

  • for my first time lisenin I love it!!!!!

  • beautiful, mom was right

  • Comment removed

  • Attention Sabbath fans! I regret to inform, as some of you may already know, that our beloved Tony Iommi has been diagnosed with lymphoma! Spread the message and savor his pure genius and raw talent while you can. It was diagnosed early on and hes doing fine, but who knows.

  • Lordy, this has gotten me through some hard times...

  • Sabbath is the reason i would rather be blind than deaf

  • just heard the news that the IRON MAN himself Tommy Iommi has been diagnosed with the early stages of cancer... lets all sent our best wishes to the legend, and hope for a speedy recovery.

  • @JordanAraya2112 Iommi's gonna beat the hell outta cancer

  • @hyena419 he needs to play solitude so fucking loud people can hear it from countrys away and he will invent a cure for cancer

  • @hyena419 he has 2¡¡we can´ t loose him hes fuckin awesome and yeah he will beat cancer fuck yeah he will

  • @hyena419 not good enough, tour got at least partually canceled

  • @JordanAraya2112 his names tony, good fan you are....

  • We all have that one who we lost and seemed like the end of the world.

  • My mom doesnt like when I cry, unless Im listening to this.

  • Ozzy walked out of the studio when the horn section came in during the recording of Never Say Die and never came back. That's when Bill sang. This is OZZY.

  • As an Ozzy fan, I would say this is NOT him singing!

  • @expatbritingermany As an Ozzy fan, I´d say it is. Iommy was asked about this in an interview and he confirmed it. There´s only two songs from the Ozzy era that weren´t sung by Osbourne. 'It´s Alright' and 'Swinging The Chain'.

  • @FEVERPITCHROCKNROLL - I know, I've read all that, but the voice just doesn't sound anything like it does on all the other songs. Ozzy has a unique kind of voice that I thought I would always recognize. No good asking Ozzy, anyway - he probably wouldn't remember :-))

  • @expatbritingermany They probably put a filter over his voice. But it is Ozzy.
