@psychedelya Personally I think the band will be epic solely because of Toumas incredible composition skills particularly with the orchestra. Which is why Tarja had a more fitting sound as it was more classical-esque. But regardless Dark Passion play was good, but I feel Once was easily a better album.

It was only later when the European myths of mermaids, fish women, dragging sailors to their doom with singing was mixed with the Greek siren, bird women, who did the same thing. After many years the bird woman concept was forgotten and mermaids were given the wrong name. The video is of mermaids NOT sirens. While the song is about Odysseus who met Sirens (the birds).
