i need some help. recently i've been having problem with my c drive. it seems like the more files i deleted, the lower my c drive memory became..i tried everything..cleaned my pc with ccleaner, defragged my c drive, used disk clean up but nothing seemed to work. its getting worst and worst..from 20gb to 15, yesterday was 3gb and today about 1gb..if anyone nows whats the problem and how to fix it please help...thanks

Hey , I have a laptop problem .

When i turn on my laptop it loads until it says " 1782- Controller Failure " and then there is also a screen which says " Non-System disk or disk error . Replace and strike any key when ready " [ They all appear on a black screen]

I don't know why . Please help me . My laptop is an HP laptop

DO NOT follow this advice because there is probability to ruin the hard drive. And this is not the hard drive repair. This is just a check. And if in the hard drive is only one bad sector Windows hard disk check will not tell you that and will do about it nothing. There are better tools to do it. Check my channel.

I have heard, and had own experiences of, that defragmentation done too often or more than once in a raw in the hope of completely removing fragmented files, can cause bad sectors. There must be a reason that some file systems do not even support defragmentation.

@TheGypsykilla buy a portable drive, take out the screws of the portable drive, take out the drive inside the portable hard disk. Now take out the hard drive from your laptop and put it into the portable hard drive. try if your portable hard drive can be used on another computer if it can get your data out of the drive, if it cannot be detected download testdisk and try to fix it.

guysi baught the new acer aspire for work and after a few days i messed up i started getting bluescreens but i ignored because im a idiot then i started it up and the bootmgr was messed up so what i did was took out my harddrive and plugged in a external went to bios made it boot the external first then put my hardrive back in and reinistalled the os but the problem still comes up and apparently this dosnt come under my guarante so what do i do?

@tanman1234543 You need UBCD (Ultimate boot CD) on which there is a program for the manufacturer of the hard drive, use that, or UBCD's own Checkdisk. Scan for bad sectors or do a more through check, it will take one or two hours depending on the size and then, after fixing, reboot. Try booting again and use "Last known good configuration" from the menu.

maybe the laptop is missing a driver, to fix that go to the laptop website and download the missing driver
