  • I don't know If I am a superwoman but my mom have 5 kids One is died , my dad is here but he don't care about us ..

So my mom work hard for us give all the things we need, food , clothes , money ... I'm so thankful for all the things she did for me ... really she's such a superwoman.

  • i am superwoman also.. :D

  • I'm not sure if I'm a superwoman but I've been an RN for 30 yrs worked in NICU

& developed Systemic Lupus at 42 when my son was 3. I tried to work as long

as I could but had to quit & go on disability for kidney involvement. I believe my

husband & son's are supermen for sticking by me with all the ups & downs of the chronic & debilitating disease. I thank God ever day to be alive & live another day, To see my son grow up & hopefully some day to see my grandchildren.

  • What specific qualities do you think today's "Superwomen" embody? Tell Alicia why you consider yourself to be a "Superwoman" and how you have overcome adversities and defied the odds. This is a chance for women all over the world to honor our sacrifices and celebrate our accomplishments!

  • blessings always

  • EASY KILLER.

  • I'm a man, but I'm not afraid to let the 'woman' (and Superwoman) side of me show! Keep up the great energy and creation Alicia! ~A Fan

  • Hey Fancy Folks! Watch my videos!

  • alicia keys is a sexy lioness. she melts my heart every time I hear her voice.

I can vaguely discern the outliens of two schools of feminist thought, one school criticizes the sexual objectification of women, the other school (and this is the one implicitly advocated by keys and beyonce and their kin) do not try to resist sexual objectification, but use their perfect bodies to barter for authority in a male dominated world.

  • Perfekt videos.OK!!!!!

  • alicia keys& beyonce advocate using sexuality to enthrall and enslave men, and win status in society. even though they do not say this directly this is what they implicity support, the media uses their perfect body and incredible talents to stir envy in the population and encourage men and women to consume products in the quest of an elusive perfection. these celebrities may not fully realize they are just tools being used to make money. I like the image of alicia as pharaoh's wife she is sex

  • I'm only twelve years old, but I am already struggling. I feel so ugly. I'm not really overweight and I am not sick in any way, but right now I'm still very depressed. Mostly because I can't find myself if you know what I'm saying?? I have both braces and glasses and because of the media and all the straight teeth, perfect skin and perfect body and no glasses, I feel really bad cause I'm not what the media sees as beautiful. I'm just not perfect... :(

  • it will be okay honey. im 26 with 5 children. i still feel that way at times being married. where are your religious views, whatever it is use that to fall back on. pray about it. i know people say its on the inside that counts, but i know that doesnt help. its about how u carry yourself no matter if u wear glasses. so do i, and i have an over bite. but keep your head up, if someone is bothering, they are the ones with the problem. you stay blessed, and walk with your head up high, very high.

  • 0:23 illuminati !

  • @haliljwz goaway with ur madness comment people like u need to ...

  • I am a superwoman in every sense of the word. I am a soon to be single mother working, struggling to raise three men, two of whom happen to be autistic. It's difficult every single day of my life, but the love the give to me outshines the complications. Their struggle is my struggle. And although it's hard sometimes to even get out of bed to face the day, the superwoman in me takes over...and I overcome. I rise. I deal with all that is thrown my way. I dont give up. That to me is a superwoman.

  • im not a super women but my mom is she has 5 kids and shes a single parent and a special ed teacher

  • she my favorite girl artist 4 real,she the truth,irespect u alicia.....(a real superwoman)

  • What tragedy is to each of us is different. How we deal with it is virtually the same. I have endured as others have, but I chose a profession that allows me to help and teach others. This is how I have made it through so much of my tragedy without letting it destroy me. The other way is my belief system. I know there is a higher being that inspires us to be our best. Teaching is my therapy and also my tool for meeting that childs needs, by offering my guidance and support, in all ways.

  • My SUPERWOMAN STORY: My mom always beat me up so i run away at the age 11, since then i been a street beggar till i keep all the money for food and etc. To survive. At the age of 15 i became a maid here in the 3rd world country. Then i cheat all my documents in the school just for me to study. I Been tru a lot but to make my story short, i study a Nursing Aide and have knowledge even i grow up alone without my family help. So we can be all superwoman if we really want too.

  • my story: I am a 19 year old woman with learning disabilities and I was told that i would not have a chance in hell of passing my GCSE'S let alone my BTEC in order to get to uni. nevertheless, i worked hard and pulled through and i am now at university doing a degree in nursing. it shows that if you put your mind to something you CAN achieve anything!!!!

  • I had to leave, to the road, with my baby, hundreds of miles...new names, new socials...after many tears, day cares, and vehicles, and new rental homes....I now have a fab family of four...It doesnt necessarily make me a super woman...but I struggled so hard, I think I have graduated at least to

    "never-give-up woman"

  • well right now im depressed but my story is im 21 and 10 wks pregnant with my first. The one I love and trusted with everything put me down and made me feel like nothing, told me i was crazy and stupid for not getting an abortion, so i left. It hurts because he still puts me down, but Im keeping the baby regardless. With in this next week im also moving to a different state, to work hard and go to school so i can make a better life for my baby to come and myself and so I can be a SUPERWOMAN!

  • MY SUPERWOMAM STORY: I am a 23 year old woman who just got a successful kidney transplant two months ago, after being on dialysis for 3 years. I'm extremely thankful to God, family, and friends for ALL of their support thusfar, it truly helped me through it all, and still is! ..they made it a little less scary ;) So, shout out to ALL my fellow superwomen out there! ..We're GONNA make it ya'll! ..xoxo

  • shen iis asome woman keep up the good you realy are a superwoman.

  • I am a single mother of a beautiful little girl...She is my superwoman though I know that when she looks at me, she sees me the same way. We have been through so much together. We have survived being homeless and having no one to support us, to having risen beyond all of that together as a whole to now having a home and being a family together, I am now about to start college next fall and she will also be in school then as well...We are surviving every day and are each others superwomen...

  • My daughter Anaya, 8yrs old, is a super women. She helps her brothers with their homework. She always uses the allowance I give her to buy things in bulk and sell in school for profit. She pays for her own field trips. She puts money in the contribution box at church on her own. She is truly amazing. She is always thinking about charity's & always wants to give her clothes away to the needy. She always lifts my spirit when I am down. My children are truly amazing!

  • My definition of being a superwomen is being a great example to my 4 children ages 8,7,5 & 3. I have a full-time job and a part -time business. I have no days off and I spend quality time Saturdays and Sundays after 2pm with my children. I work a lot and people often critize but I want to keep my beautiful house I worked so hard for and at the same time my kids know that I am working hard so that they can have the things they need. Eventually my hard work will pay off because it always does.

  • My man called me Superwoman when I gave birth naturally to our son Drew. He said I made it look easy! :-)

  • I'm a superwoman because even though my mom got schizophrenic when I was 5, becoming my worst fear, I still love her. I'm a superwoman because even though she's moved to her hometown and I haven't been seeing her since that day, five years ago, I feel she's closest to me. . I'm a superwoman because in spite of all this things, even when I cry I'm still able to find a good reason to smile for...

  • I think I am a superwoman because: When I was small my parents divorced not having unoff mony to pay the rent my father and I lived in the streets. we would beg for money and food. My father always encourged me to learn new things, my second grade teacher would always put on R&B and gosspil and i would always fall in love with the music. Then my aunt said she would support us and now i'm still going for college even though times are rough, I had also ended and overcome a abusive relationship.

  • A superwoman; is a woman who exceeds all expectations that life has yet to offer, she defies all odds. She has taught, or is teaching her children the value your life, others lives, hard work, love and humility.

I am a strong and brave woman because of my mother.

Thank you mom, thank you for being my hero.

    To my mother Maria 11/28/48-02/10/01

  • Alicia,

You're one of my heroes and have been since the very moment your song, "Fallin'" first came on the TV during that one midnight shift all those years ago.

Thank you for all that you do and all that you create. Keep it real.

  • hey alicia

i think that deep inside us all there is a superwomen cause we have all had things in our life that have caused us pain but once we worked through it we become a better person so as much pain as a person goes through there is always light at the end of a tunnel and i know sometimes its hard to see but i try to believe it!!

and i truly think yor are the biggest superwomen of them all because you have helped so many with you kind words and the way you help others!

    thanks for ur time

  • I am a superwoman because I have over came rape and melastation. I graduated high school top 10 % of my class even though I am total deaf in my left ear. I have taken college classes and gotten married, i am currently a student pursuing my dream while juggling work, studing, cooking cleaning, bills, friends, worship and life

  • I would also like to say that my mother is a SUPERWOMAN because she married at a young age from an arrangement marriage and lost her first two children and went through the Vietnam War to get to America. HeadStrongForAllWomanOutThere!! God Bless.

  • I am the third oldest out of eleven children. With my oldest brother gone to serve the country my family depend on me for transportation besides my dad. I am looked as a role model to many people because I believe in having equal rights within a culture that women have to be inferior to men.

  • my mums superwoman, left as a single parent with 2 kids. my dad got remarried and we got in real big debt, my mum went to university and got a new job, she is such an amazing person.

  • Hi there, I feel like I'm a superwoman because I always manage to keep my head up and 2 be strong in spite of all adversities, I know that I'm a role model for my two handsome sons that are trying to get a good education thru miss education that often goes on in the public schools. I even entered a local talent show and have my Superwoman Video posted here on youtube. You can check me out if you want 2. Just enter candylady1625 in the search window. Got to keep growing, moving n singing. Peace!

  • I am a woman of many talents and blessings. I am a writer, poet, veteran, black belt, barber, daughter, teacher, friend, soon to be author, and a student at a major university. Two months ago I underwent an emergency surgery on my abdomen after internal bleeding and almost died. 3 wks later I came back and won 3 trophies in karate, and 3 weeks after that I got my black belt. I am grateful for every single day that I get to live. To me being a superwoman is never giving up on the life that God has given

  • I think that I am a superwoman because I am out here raising my son all on my own. I may live day to day but I make sure that my son has everything that he needs before myself. I get no help from his dad or any family. My son is what makes me a superwoman. All of the other single mothers out there raising thier kids all on their own I give them props as well. Keep ya'lls head up.

  • I think every single woman out that there is a superwoman,I am superwoman because I am following my dream,Iwant to be an accountant and I want it bad.I study,I work,I'm fighting a battle with my ex to get divorced,I give to my community as much as I can and that makes me a superwoman! My mum is superwoman, she raised us single handedly and I am dead proud of her,we are all superwomen, world is much more difficult today then it was yesterday and yet we still survive day after day,I love you girls!

I am now trainning with world record holder Jim Dreyer to be the first WOMAN to swim across Lake Michigan, a 50 mile non stop swim that will last around 41 hours. I am also trying to inspire woman to keep dreaming, all of us CAN live our dreams NO MATTER what! NEVER ever stop believing, dreams do come true! Your song is my theme swimming song...thanks!

  • i am a superwomen cause i care for my disabled son all by myself !

  • I love this song and treat it as an anthem. In my life I'm the oldest out of 6 kids, sacrificed my friends to raising my siblings, took care of my mom when she was mostly sick, got raped, lived through suicide, was a stripper, can't have kids, outlook on life was death. But, I've overcome all of my adversaries and this is song sums it all up. It give me more hope to keep living life with drive, motivation and sprinkle it with love. Thanks, Alicia....

  • I think that I am at least trying to be a Superwoman, cause I need to have that strenght in me for my man. He had an accident in which he lost his arm. That was really hard time for him. He really was so damn depressed started to dinking and such. But now he's complitelty different person. No drinking, no sad thinking. It wasn't easy but I think my strength become his strenght. Cause the power is all in us just need to find it. :)

    Keep shining!

  • Thanks Alicia for summing up the meaning of a "SUPERWOMAN" . This is one of other songs that came to me when I graduated from college this May and I felt very proud because despite the odds (divorce, financial challenges, single mother, etc) I still manage with prayer and strength from GOD and the belief in myself I beat them all. I cried when I rehearsed the lyrics because I know what it means to sacrifice and not only did I but my daughter did as well so KUDOS to her. Thanks once again ALICIA

  • I consider myself a superwoman because for one I am a black woman. Two I wear my natural hair, no weaves or perms. Which isn't really easy in an American standard of beauty. And I have a job. Also I have standards and I don't down play them for anybody.

  • We are all superwoman!! I raised my two children all alone. Study and work while feeding my kids, with no allimentation or help at all, and now... My daughter went to University and became a Superwoman too!! :) Now, after 13 years of being a single mom I hope I finally will meet a man... I'm tired of being alone.

This is my song. Thanks Alicia!

I'm hustling out there for my family! Thank you for your song, it is truly an inspiration and recognition for the miracle work we do every day.

  • you are deffinately a superwoman. Bless you & your family

  • I am a 36 year old single mother to two amazing children. I am truly blessed to have them in my life. I have raised them pretty much on my own.I have worked hard and studied to give them a reasonable life and they often refer to me as a supermum. In amongst this I have suffered from depression for many years but ensure that they have a good quality life no matter what. They are my true inspirations in life.Alicia's song is brilliant and sums up so much of what a women's worth is.

  • I'm bulimic. I am recovering from bulimia. My grandma had cancer and died from it, I was bullied for 12 years. My Dad physically abused me from when I was 4 until I was 14. My grandpa left me. I have had pictures taken of me naked, on the toilet without permission, and I'm fighting bulimia and depression.

    xx

  • OMG! SO sorry! I'm just too scared!Ok.... There was a lady who was walking in the forest with her dog and was killed. If u r reading this, then u will find a dead bloody body hanging in ur closet. U will be haunted and killed by her. to stop it posti this to 6 other videos in 30 GOOD LUCK

  • my story, not very superwomen

when i was born i was so happy i was probably the happiest kid in the world, but things changed, i met some new people.

My first "friend" taught me things i probably would say "no" to if i knew, becasue of this reason, people like to make fun of me, they call me names, over the time, i just try to block it, just keep it in my brain, but it kept on growing and grow, and my parents added the pain i got, when i cry then called me weak, and i'm still puching it back

  • Here's my story. I've seen my mom get verbally abused by my dad. I was a year old and that's my first memory. Molested at 6 by a family friend that's when the depression started. No one ever knew. I was my mother's rock. I never cried. 19 y/o, clinically depressed. A pickup truck ran me over in college. Torn cartilage. 21 I tried to commit suicide. That year mom got cancer. She fought and won. I killed depression that year. '07 Mom's cancer came back. For the first time, I wasn't afraid to cry.

  • Awesome song. My mom sent me an email tellin gme to listen to it...shes says I am a superwoman and I think she is!

  • I guess I still got alot to work on thought, cause even though in reality the hardest part was yesterday, my biggest obsticle is tomorrow, but I still got my goals, and plans to prove not to others, but to myself, that I can do this, and be confident and strong at the same time.

  • Dispite what I personally go through, I am a superwomen because even thought I know I got it bad, I know it could be worse, but I keep my head high, and stay true to myself. The hardest part of any-day, is yesterday!

  • I absolutely love this song. I am a 38 yr old African American woman with Lupus and High Blood Pressure. I've had to overcome alot of obstacles these two illnesses have thrown my way. But with these obstacles I've served in the United States Air Force, fought in the Dessert Storm war, attended college, coached pee wee cheerleaders, coached a teenage softball team, volunteered with Star Of Hope, learned to play the piano, and be a mentor to at-risk high school students. I feel I'm a Superwoman.

  • I'm a mom, arent we all superwomen? I have 5 daughters. When I was young I made a mistake and went to jail for 7 weeks because of a bad decision. While going thru this I made the realization that I got myself there and I was responsible for keeping myself out. I changed me on the inside and the outside just fell into place. I work hard, 2 FT jobs and a little business of my own. My daughters make me proud and are growing into beautiful superwomen. I would love to tell your more, ask me!

My son's death 7 years ago has been the greatest challenge. found out. My administrators, fellow teachers, staff and the children were such a great support to me. Your song "No One" is touching to me. It makes me think of my son. Thank you for your music!!

  • I have 3 children going thru a divorce with a full time job and full time student. I think the trials that life has brought upon me has made me stronger. Adversity has built my character and broadened my horizons for my future. Being able to still smile despite all the storms in my life makes me a superwoman. Any woman that can take a stand and handle her own no matter what the situation may be is a superwoman in my book. We as women have come such a long way we need to teach each other better.
