I realize the disabled guy was in on the prank, but if it were me and I thought it was real, I think I would have asked him if he would be willing to back up in his vehicle and hit the button for me. In return I would have offered to park for a sec once I exited in order to run over and ensure he was also able to exit. I wonder if anyone thought of this and if so what the response would have been. Maybe he would be "unable to reach" the button.
