DJDieWille 1 year ago
@DJDieWille
modern mpcs (500, 1000, 2000, 2500, 5000) are very "digital" sounding, rending exactly what it eat !
sp1200 is a 12bit sampler, so whene you pitch up or down a sample it "degrade" the sound
it gives more tone, some kind of ols sounding timbre

I'm from the school of Pete Rock and Large Professor, etc. What makes the SP so dope is that when chop samples it gives it a very distinct sound. But to me it's all about chopping everything you sample and giving it your own sound, not just a loop with a drum pattern.
