I love this band. The album is amazing and I freak out when I hear it in places or a radio station playing their music, because it is so good. I have to admit though that I don't listen to the radio often because it is mostly complete garbage. American rock is dead! F hip-hop! and F our tired and stupid radio stations here in the US. Thanks to the Indie rock scene in Canada and the rest of the world for picking up the slack!

My point that you've been unable to comprehend is that it's arbitrary for several reasons: 1. The amount of modern music that truly fits into the traditional definition of rock and roll is minimal. 2. Phoenix doesn't fit into the traditional definition, so it's unlikely the author of the original comment was searching for strictly 'rock and roll' bands.

what makes the tornado alarm siren sound from 1:39 to 1:54 ? at first one might think its the keyboardist cuz his left hand stays in the same place, but then you kinda see him moving digits on it. then you might think well its the guitarist on the left side, but the whole time he's strumming, not like the consistent single pluck-extension sound of the sound. but also you mnight think its the guitarist when at the end of the sound one sees him slide down the neck in conjunction with the pitch,
