Run Simon Run is one of my all time ABC Movie of the Week Favorites. James Best is memorable as Henry Burroughs, a decade before as Hazzard County Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane. Best was Wiley in a Dan August Season 1, Episode 5: In the Eyes of God on October 21, 1970. I always loved Buddy Burt & Inger's Chemistry!

The movie aired on December 1, 1970, seven months after Inger's suicide. She was also supposed to have been a co-star on ABC's 'THE SILENT FORCE" that fall; Lynda Day George filled her role, and it lasted only 15 episodes.

The first action movie wich was showed on Moscow TV during Soviet times. It was in 1979. Amazing ! We kids run from the yard to our tv sets as we heard that this movie would be in program. For us that was discovery of Burt Reynolds.
