The Genesis version is actually far more playable than the SNES version. It retains a good framerate, and is actually less pixellated than the SNES one. Probably because it didn't use any zoom techniques.
Ha ha, I used to love this game. Don't know why you found it so hard. I suck at games and even I was able to figure everything out. Sure there wasn't a good story (if there was one at all) but I enjoyed it. A lot of stuff was pointless, but for those of us who just like to shoot things, it was a great game (yeah, i'm the guy who shoots his own platoon just because I like to shoot things, lol). I should probably see a shrink or something before I flip out one day :P
i won't lie, i really like the genesis and many of the games on it, but it doesn't hold a candle to the snes, which I think was the best console ever, you only have to look at games that were on both. Sure sega fans like to point out mortal kombat having blood (with a code, everyone forgets that) but the game looked and played like crap and didn't have many of th sound clips....
SNES is the best console ever, back when games were games and not full of cinematic cut scenes and super duper realistic garbage that makes you feel like "Your really there!" SNES felt like a game cause they were games. It wasn't always perfect but when you played NES and thought "I would love X Y and Z in a game, SNES gave it to us"
I'm sorry someone made you play this game. Fuck killersofhardcore it's no better on snes. It's best in the arcade since theres a vibrating gun to use! All and all one of the worst!
I enjoyed the Arcade version, played it a shit load. Also owned the Sega Saturn version which I enjoyed just as much, but the 16-bit ports just make you ask yourself "why?!?!"
The Sega genesis version was awesome! I like that game

This game was kinda fun in the arcade but the concept was goofy ass, an army out to stop fun.
The graphics were a touch better in the arcade.
I like how your not even being fair citing SNES superiority over Genesis. SNES rocks.

This game reminds me of T2 the Arcade Game, except it sucks major balls.

I wish people would hag on the game as a whole. The original is one of the best games to grace the arcade.

It's true, I remember having quite a lot of fun with the arcade machine. Too bad it never got a decent port (even the PS1 version sucks)

what does going around shooting people have to do with aerosmith anyway? wouldn't a platformer or music game make a little more sense?
